Salary: Band B, £24k to £30k, depending on skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and maximise opportunities to raise funds from companies, trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies.
· Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective partners from across companies, trusts and foundations.
· Research and maintain an on-going, sustainable pipeline of prospects including new trusts and foundations, companies and industry sectors.
· Plan, prepare and write compelling applications for funding.
· Build effective relationships with funders in order to secure long-term funding and support. Achieve income targets that support the delivery and fundraising goals.
· Keep accurate, relevant, timely records on our CRM and maintain regular communication with relevant teams including operations, finance, marketing and fundraising teams.
· Create inspiring reports and updates for funders that bring to life the impact of their support and demonstrate first class stewardship.
· Where appropriate, attend events to meet funders and/or promote EDT.
· Work closely with relevant teams to embed monitoring and evaluation throughout the funding process. Report on progress, results and income in a timely manner.
· Work with the Fundraising Manager with analysing trends to support the fundraising strategy.
Competencies and Attributes:

The role
As Events Fundraiser you will manage and develop myaware’s events portfolio and support in aid of fundraisers. You will also be responsible for managing fundraising volunteers and volunteer fundraising groups. The NI is looking for its next Events Officer to oversee the setting up and online booking of a range of events – mainly conferences and dinners – as well as overseeing the subscriptions to its Journal. The role is a busy one and the person recruited with require good experience with events booking CRMs as well as working with volunteers and other team members in a small team.
Responsibilities
Main duties include:
Manage all event bookings administration, including:
o Set up of online booking for events through CRM
o Set up and maintain webpages for each event through CMS adding sponsor logos and additional information as required.
o Ensuring invoices for events are issued and paid, updating any on CRM that were issued manually including sponsorship events
o Ensuring relevant communications such as joining instructions are circulated to attendees
o Issue sponsorship contracts, invoices and monitor payments of same
o Providing support for delivery of events including producing delegate lists, dietary requirements etc
o Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all events run smoothly.
Manage the admin and event email inboxes, answering all queries in a timely and professional fashion; forwarding queries to colleagues as appropriate where outside your area of expertise.

Education / Experience / Knowledge

Rowan Alba works to end homelessness in Edinburgh by providing permanent supported homes and building relationships with individuals in crisis. The role:
As an integral part of the Fundraising and Development team, you will work closely with the rest of our team to secure financial income enabling GMYN to meet its income generation targets. - Keep comprehensive records of all trust and grant fundraising activities and be able to report the impact to funders and stakeholders via various methods.

Personal Specification:
You don't have to have worked in the voluntary youth sector previously. Our aim is to find a suitable candidate that can meet the selection criteria below. This can be from a past/current income generation/bid writer role, or a role with transferable skills.
More importantly we are looking for someone with genuine passion for working for a youth charity. Someone who can join our fundraising team and make a big impression, helping us to achieve our income generation goals.

About the role
You will enable the Fundraising and Partnerships team to achieve their income targets by leading the Prospect Research & Insight team to plan and deliver strong, long-term pipelines, to manage them effectively, and to maximise the value of data in our fundraising.
Implementing proactive prospect identification and management strategies that enable fundraising teams to succeed, you will lead a high-performing team who drive and influence how the department uses data, harness the potential of our CRM, and develop reporting to support good business decisions.
