About the role

You will provide key day-to-day support to ensure the effective, high-quality delivery of programmes and training initiatives. This involves coordinating communications, managing event logistics, contributing to reporting, supporting grant administration, and maintaining digital systems. You will work closely with the Programmes team and the Training team to ensure smooth planning, implementation, and evaluation of programme activities and training.

Programmes Delivery Support (50% time)

• Provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers in delivering activities on time and within budget, including coordinating internal communication, logistics, and scheduling.

• Organise and manage training sessions, webinars, and events; support the full re-granting process from due diligence to tracking and correspondence.

• Assist with data collection and analysis, support evaluation efforts, contribute to reporting and storytelling, and help maintain accurate internal and external programme materials.

Training Delivery Support (50% time)

• Oversee the full lifecycle of training programmes, from recruitment and enrolment to delivery and follow-up, ensuring a meaningful participant experience.

• Manage and improve digital infrastructure, tools (e.g. learning management software, scheduling, forms, email platforms), session logistics, and team coordination to support efficient training delivery.

• Collect and organise participant feedback and engagement data, contribute to reporting, and troubleshoot issues while identifying opportunities to enhance systems and user experience.

Can you help a community organisation reach its potential?

This is an exciting opportunity for a trusts and foundations fundraiser with some experience to shape a new role. We are inviting applications for an Events Manager to join Garden Court Chambers. This is a full time permanent role.

Purpose of the role

Garden Court Chambers hosts a range of events including roundtables, webinars, hybrid, and in-person panel discussions. We bring together legal professionals, policy specialists, NGOs, community groups, and activists for legal training, thought-leadership and networking.

At least three times a week, we host 40-50 people for in-person events, 15-20 for roundtables, and several hundred for webinars. We also host parties throughout the year for around 150+ guests.

In this role, you will plan deliver and host each event; support the Head of Communications and Marketing with event programming; and work with barrister colleagues who convene each event to agree all event specifications.

Working as part of the friendly and professional Communications and Marketing team, the events you produce will amplify the vital work our barristers undertake to fight injustice, defend human rights, and uphold the rule of law.

The Advice Services Manager will take the lead on BIAS’s day-to-day advice services, managing a small team of welfare and housing advice specialists to ensure that we provide the highest-quality service to our clients. You will need to have experience of delivering front-line benefits and/or housing advice, strong people skills and the ability to build good working relationships with staff and clients, along with excellent organisational abilities to ensure that casework and projects are delivered on time.

In 2025, BIAS is expanding its successful Brent-based welfare and housing advice service into Haringey borough. The Advice Services Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager to build and develop the new advice service in Haringey, ensuring that we replicate our excellent quality of service, strong record of positive outcomes and loyal client base.

This role will also involve working with the leadership team to help identify areas for future development and support grant applications and reporting, which will give you the opportunity to have a direct impact on shaping the organisation’s future strategy and direction.

KEY WORK AREAS AND MAIN DUTIES

Staff management

• Managing a small advice team, ensuring the quality of the advice provided.

Operational support

• Working with the leadership team as required on operational matters, including planning, strategy for future development and grant applications and reporting.

These are the basic duties required of the Advice Services Manager. However, it is necessary for all staff to be flexible and you may be required from time to time to perform other reasonable duties which are required for the efficient running of the organisation. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice offices in Willesden and Haringey[1] but there may be some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).

ABOUT BIAS

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. BIAS has exciting plans for further expansion in 2025 and has a range of medium- to long-term grant funding, including from Ireland’s Emigrant Support Programme.

JOB PURPOSE

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised operations professional to play a key role in strengthening the systems, processes and projects that will underpin our 10-year ambition. The Fundraising Operations Officer will help drive improvements in how the Fundraising team manages data, reporting and income tracking. The role supports the smooth running of Fundraising operations by improving and maintaining systems, processes and administrative functions, ensuring the global team runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a newly established role that will offer hands-on experience in project coordination, risk escalation and CRM management, and will support you to develop technical and strategic skills in an international fundraising environment. Working closely with teams across Lumos, you’ll be part of an ambitious, values-led organisation where collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do.

KEY OBJECTIVES

Operational Oversight

• Oversee day-to-day Fundraising operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. GDPR and IATI, across all relevant jurisdictions
• When needed, coordinate process improvement initiatives that support Fundraising delivery and create efficiencies, ensuring they work alongside those already used within Lumos
• Manage back-office functions for recruitment, inductions of new starters in the Fundraising team, and management of contractors and other suppliers as appropriate
• Provide operational support for events, including managing guest lists, monitoring expenditure, helping with venue logistics and on-the-day activities
• Help maintain and improve internal systems and team documentation (e.g., on SharePoint)
• Support the drafting of Fundraising policies, procedures and systems used by the organisation
• Maintain records of Gift Aid declarations and support the quarterly claims process

Salesforce Administration

• Act as our day-to-day administrator for our Salesforce database
• Manage the process of recording and reporting on information from Salesforce, maintaining accurate donor and income data, and ensuring up-to-date and consistent record keeping
• Take the lead on running selections and reports to support fundraising activity
• As needed, provide basic training and guidance about Salesforce for the team
• Work with the Finance team to reconcile donations recorded on Salesforce with their records

Information Management

• Support the Director of Fundraising with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform key strategic decisions.
• Deliver accurate and timely income and activity reporting to key stakeholders, including the Chief Executive, Trustees and the Fundraising Committee and to share with external agencies such as the Fundraising Regulator.
• Maintain the risk register, ensuring it reflects activity and can be used as a tool by the Director of Fundraising and Chief Executive

Fundraising Support

• Provide administrative and coordination support for fundraising campaigns, appeals and events
• Assist with donor stewardship, including thank-you letters and donor communications
• Respond to enquiries via the Fundraising inbox, social media or post
• Support scheduling and coordination of Fundraising meetings and cross-team projects
• Collaborate across the organisation to ensure fundraising needs are integrated and aligned

You will support the development and management of relationships with external partners, helping to enhance the team’s outreach, funding opportunities, and collaborative projects. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and understanding of corporate fundraising by supporting the Partnerships Team to develop and launch an exciting portfolio of corporate products and events, paying close attention to the evolving needs of partners in an ever-increasing digital environment. 

You will be involved with flagship events and campaigns such as the globally-recognised Baby Loss Awareness Week, our award-winning Sands United Football Club, Big Give appeals and sector-leading collaborations.

You will also draw upon your expertise and creativity by working on creatives and concepts with the team to increase engagement and further develop communication channels appropriate to a diverse corporate audience.

With experience of managing a corporate partnerships portfolio of at least £75,000, you will have managed corporate fundraisers including Charity of the Year Partnerships, cause-related marketing partnerships and sponsors.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, is able to manage their time effectively and ensure the highest supporter experience. You will need to have strong IT skills including the use of a fundraising database.

This role will also provide support to colleagues within the Income & Engagement Department to optimise income and awareness raising activities.

High Value Partnerships Manager (Corporate and Trusts)

We are looking for an experienced Trust and Corporate Manager - to be known as a High Value Partnerships Manager - to join our small and friendly fundraising team. You will be responsible for driving our strategy for fundraising from Corporate Partnerships and Trusts & Grants, both of which are already well-established income streams with lots of great potential. You will also use your experience to identify, attract and win new partnerships.

Labour Behind the Label is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate an ambitious and effective individual giving programme for individual donations, cash appeals and regular giving. You will be responsible for the coordination of these areas of fundraising across multiple channels, as well as the administration and stewardship required to ensure engaging supporter journeys.

The successful candidate is likely to bring a strong understanding of how we can recruit and retain supporters as well the latest digital trends and demonstrate creative and technical skills to deliver a digital fundraising strategy. Labour Behind the Label (LBL) supports garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions, wages, and ensure their basic rights are respected. We do this through lobbying retailers, brands and political leaders; raising public awareness; promoting campaign action; and exploring legal possibilities for improving conditions.
