Build Up is a youth-led charity that designs and builds public spaces, supporting young people aged 10-23 years old to shape their local area. We’re looking for a Head of Income Generation to drive our fundraising strategy and secure significant investment for our youth-led projects.

The Role
You’ll shape priorities, diversify income, and build lasting funder relationships – while writing compelling bids that win investment. With consultancy support on communications and evaluation, you’ll have the tools to make a powerful case for our work. We are a small, agile organisation capable of delivering big change - this is a new role in our team and combines big-picture strategy, innovation and hands-on delivery.

Background

The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the go to place for the art of hand embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we offer a range of courses, from leisure classes to degree-level education, and are home to the renowned RSN Embroidery Studio. Our mission is to keep the art of hand embroidery alive and thriving through education, innovation, and heritage. 

Fragile Threads has been generously funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery Players.  It is a multi-stranded and innovative, narrative-led programme exploring biodiversity loss, textile heritage, and cultural expression through embroidery. With multiple partners, community engagement projects, and a major public exhibition planned for 2027, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passionate interest in culture and creativity, particularly in the applied arts. 

You’ll be key to delivering the Fragile Threads corporate development income strategy, identifying and driving vital new business as well retaining longer term support from priority sectors. To achieve this, you’ll need to find innovative ways to engage organisations and identify opportunities to maximise income from the relevant sectors

Key Responsibilities: 

Identifying and approaching potential corporate partners 

Work closely with the Fragile Threads Project Lead and the RSN Fundraising Team to: 

• Identify, research and deliver a pipeline of targeted new business that delivers maximum impact for Fragile Threads, particularly the exhibition, whilst meeting the RSN’s organisational objectives 
• Work with senior external stakeholders to deliver effective stakeholder engagement plans, leveraging internal relationships where needed to increase partner commitment and visibility 
• Create compelling and persuasive and audience-tailored partnership propositions / proposals 
• Research, shape and deliver tailored partnership proposals and presentations to potential collaborators, including corporate partners, funders and creative contributors, drawing on an understanding of client and audience needs and project priorities. 
• Liaise with the RSN Fundraising Team to ensure consistency across the organisation in approaches to potential corporates. 
• Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
• Bring an understanding and enthusiasm for arts, craft, and design particularly in heritage or textile-related contexts and reflect this in the way the project is communicated and developed. 
• Be the day-to-day point of contact for corporate partners, helping nurture relationships and ensuring smooth communication and delivery. 

Project development 

Working with the RSN Fragile Threads team to: 

• Help identify potential funding sources and contribute to proposals and applications. 
• Help shape and support team members to produce written and visual assets such as creative briefs, case studies, project packs, microsite content, and social media material. 
• Track expenditure and resources in collaboration with the Project Lead and Project Manager ensuring that project activity stays on track and within scope. 
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date tracking of partnerships and communications. 
• Maintain accurate, up to date supporter records and data on the CRM system and any relevant pipeline management tools, for analysis and reporting purposes. 
• Maintain clear records and contribute to evaluation outputs for internal and external review, and legacy purposes

Person Specification  

• A genuine enthusiasm for the creative arts, culture, and design, particularly where they intersect with heritage, sustainability, and storytelling. Committed

Unfold is an established local charity, supporting young people and families in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea to get where they want to be, identifying and achieving their goals through mentoring and peer support.   

For over 35 years, we have been supporting people who face social injustice, from families seeking asylum and young people excluded from school to women rebuilding confidence after hardship. About the Role

We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to social change.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll coordinate Unfold’s mentoring programmes, from recruiting, training, and supporting volunteer mentors to assessing and matching young people. You’ll also play a key role in delivering our weekly Youth Support Groups for young people seeking asylum, developing partnerships, and ensuring each mentoring journey is well-supported, safe, and impactful.

A little bit about the role 

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office. Those living outside the M25 can opt to not receive London Office Allowance and agree a more flexible office attendance pattern at offer stage.

The Academic Registry team, one of the sub-teams within programme management, is responsible for ensuring that participants’ academic  programme journeys are well-administered. The team are responsible for areas such as academic policies and processes (including for assessment and student records), along with several other operational aspects of Frontline’s academic provision, from attending and preparing data for examination boards or exceptional circumstances panels, to liaising with external markers.

The Academic Programmes Officer will work primarily as part of the Academic Registry, within Programme Management, to contribute to a first-class participant experience on the Approach Social Work programme. You will need to be flexible and adaptable in response to diverse requirements in the wider team through the academic year. A responsive and supportive standard of customer service is expected throughout, including at peak periods.

Some key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate assessments and preparation for exam boards, including managing marker allocations, deadlines and payments, and recording and communicating assessment outcomes
• Analyse feedback and other data to support the continuous enhancement of the Approach Social Work programme.
• Maintain accurate participant records, ensuring that all data is maintained and shared appropriately and in line with legal and regulatory requirements
• Build strong working relationships within Frontline and with external partners, e.g. in our university partner, to support effective collaboration

A little bit about you 

We are looking for someone who is committed to Frontline’s values and can balance support for participants with an understanding of the importance of agreed regulations and procedures in maintaining academic standards. You will be highly numerate and organised, with excellent attention to detail. Experience of working with student records in a higher education environment is highly desirable.

Job description

Job Purpose

• The home and settle service works collaboratively with hospitals to support people when they are discharged from hospital to return home. You will provide temporary practical and emotional support to service users within their home and make sure they understand the care and treatment choices available to them. The service is time limited, usually up to 6 weeks, to adjust and settle back in their homes. 

Key Tasks

•  Assess the needs of service users in hospital before discharge, and in their homes, and understand what barriers and enablers there might be to moving home.
• Aid the discharge process and improve patient experience through tasks such as key cutting and co-ordinating with colleagues for the setup of the home environment.
• Provide (and/or arrange) the practical and emotional support needed to enable service users to move home and/or remain safely at home.
• Be vigilant and make referrals/signpost for additional needs that our wider team, or partners can support. E.g. for benefit checks, energy advice, carers support, befriending. 
• Help maximise service user independence by adopting an enabling approach.
• Develop a listening and caring relationship with the service user and their families/carers.
• Provide domestic practical support within the home e.g. light cleaning, washing, ironing (service user clothing only) etc.
• Prepare and service drinks and simple meals with or for the service user customer ensuring nutritional needs are met in accordance with individual support plan.
• Accompany service user outside the home e.g. hospital/GP appointments etc.
• Support customers with other tasks e.g. making telephone calls on their behalf, reading and responding to correspondence, completing simple forms (training will be provided) as directed by the customer etc.
• Ensure services provided by AUKEL in the community are safe and person centred.
• Report safeguarding concerns, in accordance with AUKEL safeguarding procedures.
• Work within AUKEL’s expectations of professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Provide cover in the case of sickness and annual leave periods of colleagues.
• Support service user reviews, ensuring all visiting information is uploaded on to AUKEL’s organisational case management system.
• Meet with volunteers to provide support and guidance.
• Work with a range of professionals including:
• Supporting health and social care professionals with patient discharge
• Liaising with the Hospital health and social care professionals to facilitate smooth supported discharge.

Administration

• Input all records, reviews, and visiting information to service user’s case notes in a timely manner to maintain up-to-date and accurate records on AUKEL’s case management system (currently Charity Log/Call-round App).
• Report all “no access” failed visits, or changes in service users’ condition or circumstances in accordance with AUKEL’s policies and procedures.
• Ensure service user comment sheets are completed.
• Support the return of Customer Comment sheets and general feedback in respect of your own service users.

Quality

• Ensure services provided in the community are delivered in line with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) principles.
• Deliver all work in line with AUKEL quality mark standards.
• Commit to undertaking the Care Certificate, if not already held or in possession of NVQ level 2.
• Complete essential training as required by AUKEL to provide safe services.

Liaison

• Work in collaboration with other agencies providing support within the customer's home.
• Work under the direction of the service manager and project officers.
• Represent AUKEL and participate in appropriate external meetings and events to remain aware of local, regional, and national issues affecting quality and compliance issues affecting care and home support services. Head of Hospital and Home Services

About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and organised Direct Marketing and Fundraising Officer to support our Public Fundraising team. In this varied role, you'll help deliver engaging fundraising campaigns, manage supporter journeys, and ensure our fundraising efforts run smoothly.

You'll also provide key administrative and project support to the team and the Director of Fundraising and Marketing, with the chance to develop your skills in digital fundraising, data reporting, and campaign coordination. About You

You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to draft professional documents and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital collaboration tools and CRM systems is essential. You’ll also have good numeracy skills and experience maintaining financial records. A natural team player, you’ll be adaptable, able to prioritise a demanding workload, and remain calm under pressure — particularly during emergency fundraising appeals.

Key responsibilities:

· Assist in the coordination and delivery of public fundraising activities during emergency appeals, including managing content and materials, liaising with member agencies, and supporting with reporting and updates for senior stakeholders.

· Provide high-quality administrative support to the Fundraising and Marketing Director and wider team, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and general team logistics.

· Help develop and deliver fundraising materials across direct marketing and digital channels, gather content, and ensure assets are approved and shared with key stakeholders.

· Maintain and update fundraising budgets, process invoices, and support post-appeal reviews with external suppliers and partners.

· Contribute to digital activities by supporting basic analytics, user journey testing, and content creation for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with opportunities to take part in digital innovation workshops.

Our Communications Officer will play a pivotal role at a key moment for IVAR, with communications at the heart of our new strategy. With charities experiencing mounting pressures and complexity, this role is central to ensuring IVAR’s work is clear, accessible and has the greatest possible impact.

You will work closely with the Director of Communications to make our research engaging and usable – sparking conversations, inspiring action and strengthening movements like our Open and Trusting network. This is a hands-on role in a small, supportive team. You’ll manage our day-to-day communications, from keeping our website and LinkedIn up to date to writing, editing and proofing high-quality content across blogs, newsletters and reports. You’ll also help us translate complex research into engaging, usable outputs for busy audiences, ensuring everything we produce is accurate, inclusive and aligned with IVAR’s brand and tone of voice.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive communicator who enjoys trying new things, balancing creativity with delivery, and working collaboratively. You’ll bring:

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Confidence with digital channels (especially social media – LinkedIn in particular).

• An interest in visual design and multimedia (Canva, Adobe or similar) – video and audio editing skills are a plus.

• A passion for the voluntary sector, and curiosity about how research can inform change.

Purpose of the role:

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to join Kinship’s Marketing Team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help deliver integrated marketing campaigns and content that engages kinship carers, referral partners, and wider audiences across England and Wales. 

This role is hybrid with frequent (minimum of 1 day per week) travel and work in our London Office, Or fully office-based (Vauxhall)

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, audience-focused content across digital and offline channels, supporting social media and email marketing, managing marketing collateral, and ensuring all communications reflect Kinship’s brand and values. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, proactive marketeer to contribute to a growing team, help raise awareness of Kinship’s services, and make a real difference for kinship carers and families.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of cross-channel marketing and communications campaigns and activity, specifically including tactical plans to promote Kinship’s DfE funded training and support service as well as promoting Kinship’s holistic support offer including peer support and online advice. 

• Plan and create clear, engaging, high-quality and audience-focused content – both written and multimedia (graphics, video, audio) using tools such as Canva or Adobe Express for a variety of channels - including website, social media, newsletters etc.

• Take the lead on day-to-day community engagement with followers across all social channels (paid and organic) using in-house guide to help direct to support where relevant and flagging issues of concern as appropriate. 

• Manage the inventory of Kinship’s marketing collateral, checking when stock is low and reordering where required.

• Ensure all content is in line with the charity’s brand, tone of voice, and accessibility standards. 

• Deliver regular monitoring on performance by tracking key metrics across digital channels (email marketing and social media) and feed into monthly reports. 

• Work in collaboration and co-production with kinship carers to ensure meaningful input and representation in the development of relevant plans and activities.

Knowledge, abilities, skills and experience: 

• Demonstrable marketing experience in an in-house or agency role. 

• Experience using digital marketing tools, including email marketing systems; design software, including Canva; social media platforms and photo and video editing software. 
• Experience using a Contact Management System, such as Salesforce. 
• Exceptional written and spoken communications skills, with the ability to develop impactful narratives tailored to different audiences and channels. 
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work happily in a fast-paced environment, keeping multiple projects and objectives on track, often to tight deadlines. 
• Excellent copywriting skills and experience of writing marketing copy for a range of audiences and channels, communicating clearly, concisely and with an organisation’s tone of voice.
