You should be confident in drafting and building proposals; managing the organisation's CRM system and reporting data to the Head of Partnerships.

Your role:
- Working with the Head Of Partnerships to identify potential charity and social enterprise partners.

Who we are looking for:
We're primarily looking for someone who's had experience in managing relationships with businesses, such as in communications or business development, and someone who enjoys working with people.
They should preferably have working knowledge of Gmail and slack, as well as having experience maintaining CRM
We're looking for a volunteer to join the Engagement Team to support them while they work to increase income and awareness for the charity. The specific tasks may include but are not limited to the following:

Role Description
As a Fundraising Volunteer, you will play a vital part, in organising and assisting with our fundraising activities. All the proceeds from these activities go directly towards helping care for the pets of those experiencing homelessness. StreetVet are looking for a volunteer Fundraising Assistant to work with the Head of Fundraising to help with varied fundraising/administrative activities.
You will help support StreetVet’s patients and their owners by strengthening StreetVet’s fundraising capability.
What can you expect to be doing?
The volunteer Fundraising Assistant will work with the Head of Fundraising to deliver on the fundraising strategy and plan for StreetVet. There will also be a close working relationship with the marketing team to deliver fundraising events, campaigns and social media posts.
The main responsibilities for this role:
The Fundraising Assistant will work with the Head of Fundraising to provide support to the department on a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:
• Administration and support - provide support to the department on a range of administrative tasks including fundraising enquires (postal, email, online)
• Work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure donations are processed correctly and supporters are thanked
• Ensure the CRM/database is kept accurate and up-to-date/help with reporting as required
• Support the Head of Fundraising with Trusts & Grants to search for/record grant applications and finance information
• Support Head of Fundraising to explore new opportunities and help organise specific fundraising events as required
• Work with local fundraising volunteers, arranging work for them and supporting them as needed
• Support campaigning work, e.g. data selections for internal and external campaigns, pulling together content as directed for social media/specific campaigns, etc.

LAFF sees fundraising as a way to create long term relationships with donors; as the fundraising coordinator, you will play a vital part in this, working with the communications team to consider the full donor-cycle, from first approach to long term updates about LAFF’s work and our beneficiaries.
You will focus on increasing funds from Trusts and Foundations, companies, schools and universities in order to financially support LAFF’s programs. The fundraising strategy consists of identifying fundraising opportunities; applying to grants, writing proposals to trusts, foundations and businesses; and engaging with different audiences e.g. schools and universities.
Your independent research skills and innovation will find new opportunities to build LAFF’s corporate partner network and your understanding of LAFF’s individual donor audience will develop our strategy for increasing regular monthly donors. Your success in this position will rely on your understanding of the socio-economic problems in Peru that affect LAFF’s beneficiaries and your ability to effectively communicate the importance of LAFF’s work and progress.
Objectives of this Role
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Fundraising Coordinator will be expected to carry out the following tasks:

Plan, develop and carry out LAFF’s fundraising activities including grant writing

Research potential funding opportunities and draft proposals with the participation of other LAFF team members depending on the program area

Work with the communications team to ensure that all current donors are recognized for their support and well-informed of progress on the ground through timely and relevant reports/updates

Support the Events and Campaigns Coordinator to launch campaigns encouraging fundraising activities for LAFF’s supporters

About Onja
Onja is a social enterprise training underprivileged youth into world-class software developers.
We find the brightest students in Madagascar who can’t afford to continue their education, and train them in English language and software development. After just two-and-a-half years they are ready to work as remote front-end software developers in international tech teams.
Once in a job, our developers earn a good salary that helps them support their families and pay forward the opportunity to a new wave of students. They unlock exciting careers that fulfil their potential, and accelerate the development of their nation (see ‘How Onja Works’ below).

About the Role
Our first cohort contains 19 developers and we have plans to train hundreds of students in the coming years. In order to do this, we need to communicate more widely and attract a talented team and partner companies to hire our future graduates. To help achieve this, we’re expanding our marketing team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the development and rollout of a B2B partnership and brand marketing strategy
- Social media content development, scheduling, and community management for LinkedIn
- Support the development and distribution of database emails
- Collaborate with our partners to create marketing materials
- Create and deploy marketing content that is appealing to our key international audiences
- Manage our marketing database and focus on audience growth strategies

Role Description
Objective
The Chair will hold the Board and Executive Team to account for YSS’s mission and vision, providing inclusive leadership to the Board of Trustees, ensuring that each trustee fulfils their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of the charity. The Chair will also support, and, where appropriate, challenge the Managing Director and ensure that the Board functions as a unit and works closely with the entire Executive of the charity to achieve agreed objectives. He or she will act as an ambassador and the public face of YSS in partnership with the Managing Director.
Principal responsibilities
Strategic leadership
• Provide leadership to YSS and its Board, ensuring that the charity has maximum impact for its
service users.
• Support the Managing Director to lead and manage the organisation well, give regular feedback on performance and conduct an annual appraisal.
• Ensure that Trustees fulfil their duties and responsibilities for the effective governance of YSS.
• Ensure that the Board operates within its charitable objectives and provides a clear strategic direction for YSS.
• Ensure that the Board is able to regularly review major risks and associated opportunities and satisfy itself that systems are in place to take advantage of opportunities and manage and mitigate the risks.
• Ensure that the Board fulfils its duties to ensure sound financial health of YSS (in combination with the lead finance Trustee), with systems in place to ensure.
Governance
• Ensure that the governance arrangements are working in the most effective way for YSS and that the Board regularly reviews major risks and associated opportunities.
• Develop the knowledge and capability of the Board of Trustees.
• Encourage positive change, where appropriate address and resolve any conflicts within the Board.

External Relations

Terms of Appointment
Remuneration
The role of Chair is not accompanied by any financial remuneration, although reasonable out of
pocket expenses can be claimed.
Location
YSS operates across Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Warwickshire. Our offices are in Blackpole, Worcester.
Time commitment
Between 2 and 3 days per month. The YSS Board currently meet 6 times a year and holds 2 Audit & Risk committee meetings and up to 2 strategy planning days per year. The Chair is also expected to have regular meetings with the Managing Director and may, subject to an individual’s time commitments, represent YSS at essential events. All board members are encouraged to attend YSS events, including visits from our charity Patron and are welcome to make occasional visits to projects to see first-hand the work of YSS, the people supported, staff and volunteers.
The charity’s Chair (and board members) will be elected for an initial term of one year, after which they may be eligible for re-appointment for additional three-year terms, for a maximum of 10-year term.

Summary of the Role: As a Trustee, you'll be responsible for setting strategic aims, objectives, and direction. You'll ensure YSS achieves its objectives, represents stakeholders' interests, and act as an ambassador for the charity.
Structure, Governance, and Management: YSS is governed by its Memorandum and Articles of Association. The Board delegates responsibility for day-to-day management to the Managing Director, aided by the Senior Management and Leadership Team.
Strategy: YSS has a broad 3-year strategy linked to our organizational Theory of Change. Bi-annual strategic reviews are undertaken by the Trustees and Senior Management Team.
