We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our Finance Team. In this key role you will deliver a first-class finance function to the charity including business partnering, budgeting, and forecasting, management accounting, annual statutory reporting and supporting the developmentand implementation of financial strategy, change management and improving financial controls.  The finance team consists of 5 members - two heads of finance, 2 business partners and a financial accountant. One business partner and the Financial Accountant will report to you while the other business partner will report to the Head of Finance International.

The Programme Manager will work with colleagues to design and deliver our ongoing Experiences of Care (EoC) programme.  The programme has been developed to equip and support staff, patients and carers to improve people's experiences of health and care services.

Individual Giving Fundraiser

Summary and key purpose (fundraising)

This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.

Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.

A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.

Your expertise and skills:

To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.

Key responsibilities:

· Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.

· Create, plan, deliver and evaluate multi-channel, compliant, insight-led, supporter-centric campaigns to engage and drive action from new and existing supporters.

· Manage our newly appointed fundraising agency, and in doing so, help deliver an ambitious appeal programme and income target.

· Review and develop operational plans for individual giving (including regular giving, in memory, digital fundraising and appeals) working to achieve agreed targets.

· Communicate and document key performance indicators across individual giving appeals. Ensuring you provide commentary to accompany results reporting, drawing on insights and the wider picture to add context and make recommendations from your learnings.

· Work with the fundraising agency and RABI communications team to produce and edit appropriate collateral.

· Devise and deliver supporter communications, including stewardship activity, welcome journey content and appeal communications.

· Help ensure that we comply with legal and compliance requirements including industry best practice, GDPR/PECR regulations and the CIOF code of Fundraising Practice.

· Develop and maintain good working relationships and liaison with other members of RABI staff.

· Take part and contribute to team meetings.

· Cooperate with RABI on health and safety matters, taking reasonable care of own and other people’s health and safety within the workplace. Follow and H&S training received and alert RABI to any serious risks.

· Actively participate in the staff appraisal scheme and be committed to training and development in line with RABI’s aims and objectives.

· Liaise with volunteers, clients, contractors and other stakeholders as necessary.

· Promote the Charity’s work, assisting with demonstrations and in fundraising and awareness events as appropriate.

· Perform any other reasonable task as required by the Charity.

Person Specification:

Essential

· Marketing or direct marketing or marketing qualification.

· Experience of using direct marketing methods to recruit, retain and develop supporters (e.g. telemarketing).

· Previous direct marketing or transferrable experience. This should include project managing or assisting a project manager to plan and deliver activity and evaluate results

· Planning, delivering and managing individual giving programmes.

· Delivering donor recruitment and retention projects from initiation to completion.

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets from unrestricted donations.

· Presenting confidently to a variety of audiences.

· Building relationships and maximising engagement with donors and supporters

· Able to create and tailor engaging and emotive copy for a range of different channels.

· Empathy with the goals and objectives of RABI.

· A positive and creative approach to work, with the ability to multitask.

· Strong interpersonal skills, including good telephone manner and empathy towards in-memory donors.

· Ability to record accurate data and work with a CRM system

Role Summary

This role, based in Scotland (working remotely) , is crucial in driving forward support for, engagement with, and coordination of high-quality and high-impact multi-day work experiences for high-need young people across the UK. Experts in the coordination and delivery of multi-day work experiences, working closely with UK-wide employers and education establishments in Scotland.

The starting salary for this role is £30216, rising to £32706 after a suucessful year in role.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

Strategic purpose:

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Experience opportunities from initial programme scoping with non-income generating employers to securing commitments, monitoring young person applications, programme design and implementation, and employer follow up.
• Nurturing relationships with existing schools and colleges in Scotland and onboarding new establishments

Employer Engagement:

• Responsible for account management of corporate partnerships as agreed by the development team
• Securing commitment from employers to deliver multi-day work experience opportunities.
• Account management for employers throughout their work experience journey.
• Supporting the account management of corporate partners by delivering on their work experience programmes as agreed by the business development team and coordinating with other programme teams to ensure committed delivery takes place.
• Training employers to use SfS products in the coordination and delivery of their placements, including but not limited to Portal and Google Classroom.
• Working closely with Delivery Partners to ensure seamless delivery of work experience opportunities.
• Leading on all employer engagement and meetings with your dedicated accounts.
• Developing and disseminating impact reports to employers at the end of their contract and in line with impact and evaluation framework.
• Working closely with Education team to ensure school engagement in areas of work experience activity and in line with charity’s target areas.

School Engagement:

• Training and supporting users to maximise the opportunity to their students accessing our programmes through our platform

Livingstone House is a 24 hour staffed 92 bed mix gender hostel, which provides short term supported housing for single homeless vulnerable people with Low to Medium support needs. About the role 
We are looking for someone who wants to make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives, taking the lead on generating the income required to deliver the Farm’s services and maintain our central functions and infrastructure. With support from the Farm’s Director, who is an experienced fundraiser, you will develop and implement the fundraising strategy for the Farm, leading on the delivery of key activities, initiatives and opportunities. 

You will confidently take on the leadership of the Farm’s well-established fundraising from trusts and foundations, growing our unrestricted income base and attracting multi-year funding to support our projects. Your experience will also enable you to take the lead on establishing a new individual giving programme for the Farm, creating and implementing a stewardship strategy alongside the Marketing, Events & Communications Operational Manager. We anticipate that the postholder will spend 75% of their time managing and growing our existing trusts and foundations portfolio and 25% on building a new individual giving programme. We are looking for someone with experience (or demonstrable transferable skills and knowledge) and a willingness to work on both areas. 

As a member of the Farm’s Leadership Team, you will work closely with the Director and Operational Managers to ensure that our fundraising strategy enables us to deliver against our objectives, as well as supporting project managers and other staff to contribute to the development of relevant fundraising opportunities.

In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver a high-quality programme of positive activities and targeted intervention support for young people in Blackburn and Darwen. You will be responsible for creating impactful programmes and opportunities that promote improved health, wellbeing, education, skills, aspirations, and social cohesion among young people.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage a dedicated team to lead a high-quality programme of positive activities and targeted intervention support, including group activities, 1-1 sessions, family and professional meetings.
• Create programmes and opportunities that provide tangible outcomes for young people, leading to greater prospects and improved wellbeing.
• Represent the service at relevant meetings within the council and with partner agencies.
• Commit to working evenings and weekends, providing support, coaching, and quality assurance for sessions.
• Manage, supervise, direct, and support a team of full-time employees.
• Ensure accurate and efficient completion of monitoring and recording activities.
• Capture content, data, and impact and write impactful reports concerning the service.
• Lead implementation monitoring and evaluation systems across the provision.
• Manage provision performance, providing monthly analytics and improvement plans where necessary.
• Govern weekly/monthly timesheets and drive the team to use them accurately and effectively.
• Support maintenance of appropriate standards and documentation relating to Health and Safety.
• Engage in effective working relationships with partner agencies.
• Contribute to the promotion and marketing activities of the service.
• Provide 1:1 support to an allocated caseload of young people identified for targeted support.
• Provide 1:1 support to young people in universal sessions.
• Complete regular quality assurance, using findings to influence growth and improve practice.
• Have Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
• Ensure a robust approach to risk management, including person-centred risk assessment and management processes.

Remuneration Package:

• Salary: Band E £33,000 - £37,500 (Dependent on experience).
• Holidays: 33 days inclusive of 8 Bank Holidays (pro-rated).
• Pension: Eligible employees will be auto-enrolled into the workplace pension scheme with Royal London. Employee contributes 5% of gross earnings, while Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone contributes 3%.

This is an exciting time at EHAAT. Over the past two years, a strategy has been devised and initiated to develop major giving as a new stream of funding for the charity. As we enter the next phase of the strategy, this role presents a unique opportunity to build on the initial success of this programme and shape its future, alongside a committed and growing Development Board and a dedicated team, and with the support of the trustees and executive team. At the same time, we are bringing together for the first time other important areas of our fundraising, including legacies, trusts and foundations, and corporate partnership under the leadership of the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships to build a strong and focused team delivering across philanthropic giving for the charity.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with senior level prospects and givers in a charitable context, as well as experience across other areas including legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate fundraising. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the strategy to build philanthropic giving at EHAAT in consultation with the CEO, Executive Team, Trustees and Development Board, to support the charity’s objectives and long term aims.
• Deliver a fundraising plan across the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, including major giving, legacies, trusts and foundations and corporate partnerships, to achieve agreed strategic objectives.
• Provide excellent executive support and guidance to the Development Board and the Chair, and take a leading role in building the Board further by identifying and recruiting to its membership and the wider pool of Ambassadors.
• Ensure philanthropic giving to the charity is strengthened through in-depth research, compelling proposals, wellcrafted approaches for gifts and excellent stewardship.
• Deliver regular activity and income reports and participate in the budgeting and forecasting of income in this area.
• Lead and support the Philanthropy & Partnerships team, enabling team members to fulfil their potential and meet agreed objectives through collaborative and shared working.
• Work across the charity to collaboratively create exciting and impactful propositions for funding, impact reports, and stewardship opportunities, in particular relating to the Centre for Excellence.
• Implement and regularly review an effective gift policy and undertake all necessary due diligence prior to accepting gifts, ensuring donations and grants are correctly allocated and used, and conditions met.
• Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of EHAAT's current work and future strategic plans.
