In this role, you'll focus on audit. You'll be the cornerstone of trust and credibility that gives stakeholders confidence in our financial integrity. Drawing on your audit background, you'll lead our audit activities end-to-end, prepare comprehensive audit deliverables, including consolidated financial statements and manage relationships with external auditors. You'll ensure our accounting records comply with Charities SORP/FRS102, company law and charity law. You'll prepare and review complex technical accounting adjustments, and champion robust financial controls and processes across the organisation. Your technical expertise and meticulous approach will ensure we navigate regulatory requirements with precision and professionalism.
Working in partnership with colleagues across Finance and the wider Society, you'll champion compliance in a way that enables rather than constrains our mission. You'll build relationships with external auditors and regulators. You'll support teams across directorates to understand and meet their financial obligations and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen our financial governance and control environment.
About you:
You're a qualified accountant with an audit background who brings deep knowledge of audit processes. You understand that robust financial controls build the credibility and trust that allows a charity to maximise its impact. You're comfortable preparing audit deliverables and technical accounting adjustments, and you can explain complex regulations clearly to help colleagues across the organisation make informed decisions.
You'll have:
- A CCAB qualification achieved through education, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience that evidences your understanding of the role's requirements.
- Significant audit experience - ideally from practice or an in-house audit function.
- Demonstrated experience as a Financial Accountant in a large or complex organisation.
- Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex technical accounting adjustments with precision and professional judgment.
- Experience championing robust financial controls and processes, with evidence of identifying control weaknesses and driving improvements.
- The ability to work effectively across departments and at all levels of the organisation. Translating complex accounting and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based ERP systems (we use Unit4).
- A commitment to continuous improvement, bringing best practice and fresh thinking to audit and compliance delivery.
- Experience mentoring and coaching colleagues to support them in their career development.
What you'll focus on:
- Leading audit activities end-to-end - preparing high-quality deliverables, including the consolidated financial statements, managing timelines, and building constructive relationships with external auditors and regulators.
- Ensuring accounting records comply with Charities SORP/FRS102, company law and charity law. Preparing and reviewing complex technical accounting adjustments with precision and professional judgment.
- Championing robust financial controls and processes, proactively identifying weaknesses and driving improvements that strengthen our control environment and record-keeping standards.

- Working seamlessly with colleagues across the Finance team to provide integrated, end-to-end financial partnership to the Society.
- Driving continuous improvement in financial accounting standards, using feedback, data, and sector best practice to elevate quality while role-modelling our values and a culture of accountability.

The role involves liaising with school staff, local partners (including the Military and local businesses) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people and is supported by the Regional Manager, Hampshire and Dorset. You will be joining a fantastically motivated and committed team of workers who are all passionate about improving the lives of young people through our specialist youth programmes.
The successful candidate will be based from home with a requirement to travel to partner schools and business sites in and around Hampshire (mainly within an hour of Portsmouth). Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Working with secondary schools to provide early support programmes, core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed as required.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, and business partnering across the organisation.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance, you will lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process, produce regular financial performance reports, and develop financial models to support key strategic decisions. You will ensure that the College’s leadership has access to clear, insightful analysis to guide financial and operational planning.
You will foster a culture of effective business partnering, providing expert financial advice and support to budget holders and colleagues across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the annual budgeting process and developing regular reforecasts in alignment with the College’s strategic priorities
- Producing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis
- Developing financial models to support key strategic and operational decisions
- Providing financial insight and advice to senior leadership and budget holders to support informed decision-making
- Line managing and developing the Finance Analyst, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensuring the integrity of financial information through robust processes, controls, and analytical review

Essential skills and experience include:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

- Proven experience of leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes

About the Role
As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records.
About You
You will have an understanding of the impact of crime on victims & experience in delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting. Experience in managing a caseload and of completing risk & needs assessments would be beneficial.
You will need:
- Strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
- Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.
- To work effectively both as part of a team & independently
- To develop & maintain partnerships with internal & external organisations.

The Deputy Contract Manager is responsible for the operational management of our specialist customer focused support services across the service. Role Summary
As a member of Wintercomfort’s Team, reporting to the Services Manager the Day Centre Team Leader role is responsible for supervising the weekend locum team, delivering welfare services over the weekend, developing and delivering Wintercomfort’s range of welfare services and social, learning, and work opportunities aimed at supporting individuals out of the spiral of homelessness and back into mainstream society.
Purpose of the job
Our Project Workers are front line team members responsible for helping Wintercomfort to meet its objectives of supporting the homeless and vulnerably housed in Cambridge to make positive changes in their lives.
The role holder will play a vital part in delivering a broad range of services predominantly based at our centre, Overstream House, with some outreach work within the community. Tasks range from helping people who are sleeping rough to access our drop-in welfare service and access one-to-one key-working sessions with an assigned Project Worker. This is a varied, challenging and incredibly rewarding role working with some of the most vulnerable people in the community to change their lives for the better.
Key Responsibilities
- To be a member of the project worker team at the day centre providing a welcoming and safe environment in which welfare and learning and development services can be delivered.
- To be responsible for running the service at weekends and be a team leader to the Locums and weekend team.
- Be responsible for co-ordinating day to day tasks during opening hours and, as a member of the staff team, to deal with any breaches of policy or of the code of conduct.
- To support the delivery of Wintercomfort’s welfare service overseeing access to essential facilities such as meals, showers and laundry services at our centre.
- To provide one-to-one support with issues such as benefits claims, access to IT and support with online services and work with other professionals identifying individuals who require specific support in areas such as Housing, Recovery, Social Inclusion, Tenancy Support and Employment.
- To have line management responsibility for the Locum Weekend Team and to ensure that any safeguarding concerns are reported to the Services Manager.
- To provide occasional cover of the reception area, welcoming visitors to the centre.
- To ensure that accurate records are recorded during Wintercomfort’s activity time.
- To ensure any necessary referrals and signposting is offered/ conducted with Service Users.

About the role

About the Role
As a VAWG Caseworker, you will provide structured, tailored support plans based on holistic assessments for individuals affected by crime. These will be predominantly female victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, however, could be victims of any crime or gender. You will make initial contact with victims via the telephone, then tailor the support to the Victims preferences i.e. home visits or via conference calls, to explain our services, and assess the impact of crime. Your responsibilities will include developing, delivering, and monitoring safety and support plans, providing resources, interventions, and information to service users.
As a Caseworker you will:
- Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help them navigate the criminal justice process.
- Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring each victim receives tailored support & information.
- Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
- Keep accurate & confidential case records.
About You
