The Digital Officer will support the Communications team in creating innovative and engaging content and posting to social media channels to tell the story of ParalympicsGB and its athletes. The role will work closely with sports and athletes to facilitate filming opportunities and will assist in the delivery of branded content for commercial partners and key stakeholders.
The Digital Officer will also support programmes of activity which seek to fulfil the organisation’s vision ‘through Sport inspire a better world for disabled people’.

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS OF WORK: Such hours as are necessary to fulfil the duties. This will involve a minimum of 35 hours per week and include work in evenings and weekends as required.
LOCATION: Hybrid of London office and home based. ParalympicsGB Office: 101 New Cavendish Street, W1W 6XH. Travel may also be required in the UK and abroad as necessary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content creation
Develop and oversee production of content in our brand identity including video, graphics and photography for ParalympicsGB social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality, platform-specific vertical videos tailored to maximise organic reach and engagement with ParalympicsGB’s priority audiences: Young People, Disabled Community and Potential Allies.
Will also be required to support wider ParalympicsGB staff teams with the production of content for internal use on occasion.
Social Media Management
Assist the Digital Producer with the management of ParalympicsGB social media channels and when needed helping to post and schedule content in our tone of voice.
Contribute to monitoring social media channels for real-time trends and content opportunities to shape the team's narrative and engage with priority audience groups.
Keeping up to date and aware of the latest news from sports and athletes.
Branded content
Work closely with the commercial team to align partner content with broader campaigns and ParalympicsGB’s content strategy.
Website
Contributing to ParalympicsGB digital channels including copywriting, image and video editing including athlete biographies and sport information. Research of athlete personalities and interests to populate future content plans.
CRM
Keeping an up-to-date record on the ParalympicsGB CRM system of athlete content appearances and all relevant information.
Games-time
Working on location at the heart of the Paralympic Games as part of the communications team to support athletes, team members and media with the delivery of key communications objectives. Will support Content Producer with capturing engaging Games-time content for ParalympicsGB channels.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years’ experience producing and publishing content either in-house or developing their own channels
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

· Experience shooting with cinema line cameras (Sony, Canon).
· Experience of shooting video through mobile devices

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team and help us deliver exciting initiatives that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. Examples of projects supported include work around establishing better Active Surveillance so that more men can avoid unnecessary radical treatment; work to restructure and make faster the diagnostic pathway; work to coordinate with primary care and support earlier diagnosis; new surgical procedures that spare men the burden of incontinence. As Healthcare Improvement Officer, you’ll play a central role in making sure our programmes run smoothly and have maximum impact. You’ll oversee on the logistics and delivery of events across the UK and online, from our Clinical Champions Programme and Clinical Advisory Group meetings to our annual healthcare professional conference. You’ll also oversee recruitment for programmes, manage databases and monitoring systems, and handle financial processes such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Your work will range from planning and scheduling programmes, to procuring resources, preparing materials and helping to facilitate sessions so that participants are fully supported in their learning. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement project development and coordination, working with teams across Prostate Cancer UK to share good practice and expand the reach of our initiatives.
Engagement will be a key part of your role, from maintaining webpages and digital channels to supporting our alumni network through newsletters, communications and opportunities for continued involvement. You’ll help manage our online Clinical Champions learning hub and, with training provided, will also have the chance to coach and mentor clinicians using Insights Discovery (a psychometric tool helping people understand their own and others' behavioural preferences and communication styles).
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, comfortable working with people and able to keep several projects moving at once. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences, from clinicians to colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll bring experience in event planning and support, along with project coordination, and you’ll be comfortable managing webpages and creating online content. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, colleagues and senior leaders, so collaboration will be second nature to you.
An understanding of the healthcare and/or charity sectors will be valuable, as will experience in presenting and facilitating discussions. You’ll also need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively when things get busy.

Youth Participation Officer
Fitzrovia Youth in Action is looking for an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic person for our Youth Participation Officer role. If you feel like this is you, we would love to hear from you!
The post holder will manage and develop youth-led community projects in which young people develop their leadership and employability skills through becoming actively involved in their community and participating in self-directed community action. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of several youth-led community projects, primarily the organisation of youth-led community events, but might also include elements of other youth-led activities, such as youth action team, health champions and ambassadors.
For example, typically, this would involve working with groups of around 10 young people in each cohort and support them to deliver their community event project over a 12-week period. Examples of events include youth-led football tournaments, street parties and our community Christmas dinner. This post will be part of the delivery team overseeing self-directed community action projects. The post holder may also support drop-in sessions and other activities aimed at engaging young people and referring them onto the youth-led community action programme.

The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the team as an Events Officer, reporting directly to the Events Manager. You will support participants who have their own place in challenge events such as runs, walks and cycles as well as other third-party organised events.
Main duties will include:

The role
This role will work closely with the Director and the Schools Programme Manager to provide broad and comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the overall running of this established and highly regarded family foundation. This will include ensuring existing systems and processes are adhered to and updated where necessary, grantees are dealt with promptly, cordially and professionally and the running of the office is efficient and smooth.
The role will be responsible for coordinating financial processes, grants administration, office and facilities coordination and executive support to the CEO in addition to arranging high level trustee meetings and wider administrative tasks as they arise. The person
The successful candidate will have substantial office based, administration experience with broad and wide-ranging coordination skills, spanning office systems, stakeholder engagement, customer service, process management and facilities support.
