About the role:

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, the IT Project Manager will lead the scoping, researching, sourcing, design develop and implementation of several new systems relating to CRM, Case Management, Finance and HR.

The IT project manager will also support the Director of Finance & Operations in managing the relationship with the IT Support contract, providing IT support where necessary and in renewing the IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) accreditation.

You will have previous experience in IT change management with significant experience of overseeing implementation projects, allowing you to hit the ground running. You will have an excellent understanding of computer systems, security and databases to allow you to ensure

an excellent and reliable IT service is provided to all staff on and off site. You will have strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills and significant experience of delivering major business critical projects including the desired benefits and outcome to time, cost and quality, including the management and maintenance of standard project controls and documents.

You will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience and 

A PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or other industry standard Programme or Project Management qualification. A good knowledge of Microsoft Server technologies, 365 admin level experience across Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online etc. is essential for the role. Your experience will include supporting network devices and concepts, printers, softphones and other business hardware and software.

Fundraising Development Manager

Administration and Systems Manager 

£35k p.a. 

Location: initially remote working but to be hybrid based in W/NW/SW London.

We are looking for an experienced Administration and Systems Manager to join our enthusiastic and friendly Operations team. Help Counselling is a small Mental Health charity providing one-to-one counselling, both in person and online to adults over 18.  We are also a well-established clinical training placement provider for trainee counsellors and psychotherapists studying with prestigious training organisations in London.

About Help

Help Counselling is well-established Mental Health Charity with a heritage of over 50 years. We provide training placements for clinical supervisors, counsellors and psychotherapists who need to gain clinical experience to qualify (or further qualify) and be registered with one of the industry professional bodies such as, BACP or UKCP. For ethical reasons, the work trainee counsellors / psychotherapists do is unpaid, i.e., they must volunteer their time.

This volunteer model enables Help to fulfil its charitable aim of providing low-cost counselling services. It can take between 3-5 years to qualify, and our training placements are for minimum of 12 months meaning we can also provide clients with long-term help. Having consistence and continuity plays a pivotal role in building a safe, therapeutic, and trusting alliance between the counsellor and client. 

The blend of low-cost and long-term talking therapy is much needed in a time of increasing demand for mental health support and increasing complexity of presenting issues.

About the job

The purpose of this role is to manage the daily administrative operations and a small administration team of 2 people. The objective being to ensure that we meet our monthly targets, are compliant with the requirements of BACP, run efficiently and deal with exceptions in a timely, ethical, and effective manner.

Currently our client volumes are between 250-350, we have approximately 90 counsellors and clinical team of approximately 20. 

We operate a number of cloud-based IT systems and have outsourced HR and Finance functions.

Key responsibilities

Information review, reporting and continuous improvement.

Create, review and report on operational data and use this information to solve potential problems or strengthen business performance. 

Evaluate processes and policies, look for and make improvements as necessary. Ensure that processes and policies are easy to understand and up to date. 

Stakeholder management

Provide a point of escalation and decision-making for queries arising from clients, counsellors, supervisors, training organisations and other stakeholders.

Quality of service 

Ensure all queries and contacts are dealt with professionally, accurately and promptly. 

Manage all aspects of the administrative tasks and process required.

The Candidate

Education & experience: 5-6 years’ administrative, operations, customer service and supervisory experience, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.  

Skills:

· Ability to analyse information and develop practical solutions.
Planning, critical thinking, problem solving, and task and time management skills.

· Interpersonal, line management, coaching, and verbal and written communication skills.

· Technical expert on MS Office suite and hands-on experience of CRM and / or clinical management system.

The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.

Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.

You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.

This role is about;

• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);

• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;

• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;

• coordinating a range of activities (mainly online) to deliver information to Members, potential Members, referrers, and other stakeholders. These will include online talks from staff, Members and other “subject matter experts”; and

Although the role is home-based, you will not be working in isolation; you will be supported by the managers and workforce.

We are seeking a Volunteer Services Manager to provide leadership, guidance and development to this Volunteering Team and act as an ambassador for volunteering across all Battersea centres and externally. They will have overall responsibility for recruitment and development of volunteers, policies and processes relating to volunteer involvement, and lead in increasing the standard of the volunteering experience across the organisation and creating new opportunities, in all areas of our work.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our team at Leeds Children’s Charity at Lineham Farm. 

This role is a new and important addition to the charity as we drive forward future developments, helping to brighten the lives of children throughout the city. As the Trust Fundraiser, you will be an essential member of the fundraising team, playing a pivotal role in identifying and capitalising on grant opportunities that will contribute to significant growth and long-term sustainability for the charity. This includes cultivating and managing a pipeline of potential funders, as well as staying alert about the external environment to identify new funding opportunities that align with the Charity’s mission and strategic priorities.

The charity has exciting projects, developments, and plans, and Trusts and Foundations will play a crucial role in achieving these objectives. The successful candidate will need to expertly manage the Grants and Trusts Management life cycle to meet predetermined fundraising income targets.

We are looking for an individual who is not only detail-oriented but also passionate about our cause. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with a small yet impactful, and collaborative team.

Knowledge and Experience

Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a new Partners development strategy to secure significant gifts from individuals.

• Identify, cultivate and secure relationships to deliver maximum long-term impact and income through effective personal relationship management of major Partners.

• Develop strong and enduring relationships with current and potential major Partners.

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to create compelling, relevant and tailored funding proposals.

• Work with the Head of International Programme to design and develop a targeted contact strategy.

• Support the development of a range of events/campaigns with the wider UKIM teams to provide opportunities.

• Develop and maintain adequate major Partners records.

• Market UKIM Relief’s projects and products to new and existing partners whilst maintaining partner loyalty through special partner services. 

• Work efficiently towards the continuous enlargement of UKIM Relief’s partner database.

• Assist in coordinating in Partner Services to ensure data integrity, quality control, and database requirements.

• Ensure that all partner information and reports are of the highest quality and are submitted (if required) in a timely fashion.

• To be up-to-date with all new projects, proposals and potential appeals. 

• Ensure that all partners receive a courteous, helpful and professional service at all times.

• Effectively attract and retain partners by liaising with them on a daily basis. 

• Accurately record, process and keep all enquires and financial transactions confidential. 

• Maintain and assist the Manager to develop an effective administrative systems in order to achieve maximum efficiency across the department.

• Develop and sustain the mutual understanding between UKIM Relief’s and the public.

• To complement the work of the Communications team in producing different types of media to project the work of UKIM Relief to long-terms partners. 

• Ensure duties are performed in line with the Data Protection Act, Confidentiality Regulations, Government legislation and UKIM Relief Policies.

• Ensure information flow is managed and easily accessible to allow the team to provide all partners with any personal information requested.

• Ensure the processing of daily mail, data entry and major partner gift acknowledgements are done efficiently.

• Comply with all policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.

• Hold a valid passport and be willing and able to travel extensively, at short notice and under conditions of physical hardship.

• Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.

Person Specification:

• Experience of major partner fundraising.

• Strong knowledge of, and successful track record in, delivering significant new income through personal approaches to major partner prospects.

• Proven track record of personally soliciting high value gifts from major partners and of developing long-term relationships.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with senior colleagues, stakeholders and partners

• Excellent networking, negotiation and influencing skills.

• Excellent written and verbal skills.

• IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and database systems.

• Experience of arranging events and of stewarding high-profile meetings with senior colleagues, stakeholders and partners.

• Understanding and familiarity of Data Protection, Health and Safety and Gift Aid.

• Educated to degree level or possess a relevant qualification or appropriate experience in a directly related post.

• A good understanding of brand management, marketing and PR.
