In this role you will support the Director of Assets & Compliance to deliver our strategic objectives, including our statutory and regulatory obligations focusing on the safety of our clients, quality and value for money.

You will oversee Asset, Responsive Repairs and Portfolio teams providing motivational line management to Managers of these teams; supporting them in your key role to ensure the organisation makes sound investment and divestment decisions, implementing the asset management strategy and developing and implementing quality repairs, maintenance and voids standards.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team building, line management and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations.

We are looking for a dynamic, customer centred and systematic Head of Service with experience of successfully delivering strategic asset management and responsive repairs and voids services.

You will have extensive experience of working at a Head of Service/senior management level ideally gained in the housing sector and will have the ability to work with a range of customers, colleagues and external key stakeholders. You will have experience of leading a large functional diverse team, have a solution focused approach and an interest in collaborative team working.

The purpose of the role is to drive and deliver our ambitious fundraising strategy in order to support the work of Life. The Individual Giving Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering the end-to-end experience of existing supporters as well as attaining new supporters.

Reporting to the Director of Income Generation and leading the Individual Giving Team, the post holder will work closely with colleagues across the fundraising and marketing teams to; create, test, monitor and evaluate appeals and campaigns, lead on Legacy (and in-memoriam giving) lottery and raffle and other income streams associated with individual giving. The post holder will be working to and reporting on ambitious income and expenditure targets and ensuring that supporters have a positive experience of the charity.

The postholder will lead a Donor Administration Manager to deliver on a positive donor/supporter experience with the aim of retention of current supporters for the long term as well as acquisition of new donors, maximising the potential of all of our supporters. It forms a central part of the overall fundraising strategy, with the ultimate aim of growing our individual giving income to increase the impact of the charity and benefit those needing support in pregnancy, pregnancy loss or in the early years of a baby.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop and implement a cohesive supporter journey strategy focussed on supporter needs and continuous re-engagement

· Champion best practice and stewardship with individual supporters

Information Management

 · Ensure data and information systems are up to date and provide an accurate picture of supporter segmentation, communications, preferences, permissions, requests, gifts and pledges

· Support the maintenance of the database to ensure records are updated, procured and implemented.

Personal and People Development

 · Ensure personal continuing professional development is maintained, including attending relevant internal and external development training and workshops.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising efforts. This is a key role in ensuring we have the resources to continue providing vital support to survivors of torture and human rights violations. Hackney Foodbank is looking for a Volunteer Manager to join their team 2 days per week (14 hours).

Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

The Volunteer Manager role is responsible for recruiting, engaging and deploying volunteers into a wide variety of roles across the charity.

• Work with the Warehouse Manager and Food Distribution teams to support the recruitment journey and retention of volunteers. Encourage people to volunteer through a variety of marketing and promotion approaches, including social media and working with our Communications and Fundraising team to develop a strategy for volunteers. Develop, coordinate, and engage a network of around 150 active volunteers. Book and signpost volunteers to relevant and engaging volunteer training sessions. Work with the Warehouse Manager and Head of Food Distribution and Volunteering to resolve any volunteering related issues or complaints. Proactively liaise with the staff team to determine volunteer requirements, select volunteers for the right roles and match them to the right people, considering preferences and restrictions on both sides. This is an exciting opportunity to join the myaware team as a full-time Events Fundraiser to manage, develop and deliver myaware events and support our in aid of fundraisers.

The role

As Events Fundraiser you will manage and develop myaware’s events portfolio and support in aid of fundraisers. You will also be responsible for managing fundraising volunteers and volunteer fundraising groups. The purpose of the role is to build long-lasting partnerships with supporters and volunteers to achieve maximum events fundraising income for myaware. There will be a requirement to manage records and relationships through the CRM system in line with GDPR.

The Events Fundraiser will be home based within the UK and will work in co-operation with all myaware colleagues to deliver agreed fundraising and awareness campaigns. Own transport is essential for this role as occasional travel throughout the UK will be required. There may be the need to occasionally work during weekends and evenings and therefore there is a need to work flexibly when required.

 Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year experience gained in a fundraising role within a charity, with demonstrable experience of income growth and the ability to meet and exceed income targets. Experience of working with and managing volunteers is essential.

We are a looking for an innovative self-starter to join our small national team of 16 staff. You must be well organised and efficient, with IT skills and experience of using a work-related database or CRM system. Myaware is the only charity in the UK dedicated solely to the care and support of people affected by myasthenia. 

We are working hard to raise awareness of myasthenia, as it is a little-known condition. We provide support for people with myasthenia and their families, whilst offering advice and tips for living with the condition. 

We also fund the research that brings us closer to finding a cure as well as funding specialists nurses and advisors.

You’ll deal with a spectrum of work, spanning everything from writing and creating compelling copy (for both online and offline marketing activity); diving into our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and managing lists; to pulling together evaluation reports, analysing campaign performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. With support from your manager and rest of the team, it’s a great role to build your expertise and gain valuable marketing experience.

You will enjoy communicating with people, both in person and on paper. Attention to detail is important and you will be proficient in Microsoft products including Excel. The Fund is committed to a hybrid working model that meets the organisation’s needs, while giving staff flexibility to choose between office and home working. Most staff are expected to work a minimum of 40% from our central London office and are free to work more days from the office if they prefer. We are in the process of developing our long-term policy on this, although the expected minimum time in the office will remain 40% (pro rata).

As Trust Fundraiser you will have the opportunity to support the growth of income from warm and cold Trusts. You will research trusts, create and send applications and manage relationships with existing funders including preparing donor reports and showcasing the work of Whizz Kidz.

Over 75,000 young people aren’t getting the wheelchair or support that fully meets their needs. Without the ability to be independent young wheelchair users are restricted in their ability to socialise and participate in society.

The Team 

The Trusts and Foundations Team is part of the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Department and is central to Whizz Kidz contributing to its ambitious goal of ensuring that every young wheelchair user in the UK is mobile, enabled and included. The six-strong team is responsible for delivering over £3m a year for the organisation’s services.

The Role

This role will be responsible for researching and applying to small Trusts and managing an existing portfolio (up to 10K) alongside supporting larger grant applications where required. You will create and maintain a prospect list, apply for relevant opportunities and effectively steward existing funders, preparing reports and updates ensuring they meet donor guidelines. Furthermore you will support the migration of our CRM from Raisers Edge to Microsoft Dynamics.

The person

You will have Trust fundraising experience with excellent research and writing skills with ability to identify new Trusts to apply to, prepare accurate and compelling donor reports and case studies and be confident in approaching donors and promoting the work of Whizz-Kidz.  You will have strong donor stewardship skills with ability to tailor approaches to the needs of the donor. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

The Major Gifts Stewardship Assistant is responsible for an existing portfolio of approximately 150+ individual, trust, and corporate donor relationships. Main responsibilities include:

· Maintaining the current portfolio of donors.

· Uplifting donors to give at higher levels, where possible.

· Supporting the trusts and foundations of new business processes through research and outreach.

Job Purpose:

To be an integral part of the Philanthropy team, providing stewardship to individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate supporters (typically, yet not exclusively, at the £5,000 to £20,000 level). You will be responsible for a portfolio of major donors, ensuring their continued support of MSF.
