The Project Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of our Council funded Adult Bereavement Service in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. This service aims to provide accessible, accessible, empathetic and effective support for adults affected by bereavement, particularly sudden or drug/alcohol-related deaths. The Project Delivery Officer will work collaboratively as part of the local and regional volunteer and staff team. Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Funding Operations Administrator on a full-time basis. This role will be key member of the Operations Team and will offer broad administrative support to the foundation in all aspects of its work.

A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish (although this role may sometimes require additional office-based days for special meetings or events).

The role:
This role contributes to the delivery of the foundation’s strategy by providing comprehensive support to the resources, operations and funding teams, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the organisation.

This is a very broad role which will provide essential input to processes right across the organisation and will be rooted in excellent customer service principles, effective communication and genuine teamwork and collaboration.

It will range from arranging meetings rooms, reception duty, preparing reports for Trustee meetings and arranging and minuting meetings and helping with the logistics of convening events and seminars. It will also involve data input, analysis and reporting using the Salesforce Database, supporting the funding team with Salesforce day-to-day queries and carrying out initial eligibility assessments of initial expressions of interest from organisations interested in applying for funding.

The culture at the foundation is collaborative and nurturing, so working closely with colleagues to share ideas and learn from each other will be essential in this role.

The person:
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office-based environment with experience of working with CRM databases and providing excellent customer service both internally and externally.

This person will be highly organised and will have a great eye for detail whilst being naturally helpful by nature and willing to get involved. There is plenty of room for development, so someone who is keen to learn and develop new skills in addition to bringing their own creativity and enthusiasm to the role will be important.

Strong IT skills, systematic and methodical, this person will be a natural problem solver and good at multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. They will also be a good communicator both verbally and in writing with the ability to see the bigger picture. Having a strong vision on how crucial effective administrative support work is to ensuring an organisation meets its charitable objectives and provides an outstanding service to its grantees and stakeholders.

This person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, in a fast-paced environment.

The Beyond Food Foundation is looking for a Programmes assistant.

Ideally you will have some experience in working with young people, vulnerable adults or assisting with education / training programmes. 

Our programmes are built around the kitchen and dining table, you will work closely with a Chef trainer and Food Engagement Lead to make the sessions run smoothly. An understanding of food or the hospitality industry is a bonus. 

£29,000 - 35,000 per annum, experience dependant -  40hrs per week -  Monday - Friday.

Purpose of the role: 

To facilitate training workshops for kinship carers across England, as part of the national training team, through an annual programme of Kinship roadshows and in-person and online workshops. 

To contribute to the continual development and improvement of the Kinship training programme by developing new content and refining existing materials in line with insight, data, and feedback from kinship carers. 

This role is home-based with frequent travel across England

Key responsibilities include:

• Co-facilitate professional, high-quality training to kinship carers in England.

• Experience managing challenging or sensitive situations during training while maintaining clear boundaries, using Kinship's safeguarding framework where necessary.

• Ensure training is accessible, inclusive, and adapted to meet the diverse needs of participants.

• Meet training KPIs, including participants reporting they feel better supported (90%) and have increased understanding of the subject (80%).

• Contribute to the continuous development of training resources using insights, data, and feedback from kinship carers.

• Maintain a consistent and engaging approach across all training experiences.

• Use Salesforce effectively as the case management system to support training delivery, learning, and evaluation.

• Demonstrate confident and frictionless use of Zoom, including breakout rooms and interactive tools, to deliver engaging online training sessions.

• Actively support and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive, and supportive team environment.

Essential knowledge, abilities, skills and experience includes:

• Substantial experience delivering engaging online and in-person training and workshops for diverse audiences.

• Proven experience in professional facilitation using a range of techniques to engage participants.

• Demonstrable expertise using Zoom (including breakout rooms and tools) and PowerPoint to deliver high-quality training.

• Experience managing challenging or sensitive situations during training while maintaining clear boundaries.

• Proven ability to deliver training that achieves measurable impact and learning outcomes.

• Demonstrated use of a non-judgemental approach reflected in both language and behaviour.

• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with high attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate effectively and work innovatively to achieve positive outcomes for kinship carers.
