Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) exists so nobody in Scotland suffers or dies because medical help cannot get there in time. People can get sick or have accidents anywhere and anytime. But in Scotland there are places where urgent medical help cannot reach people. Or help gets there too late. And when lives are at risk every minute matters. The Role
As part of our strategy for growth and national impact, SCAA is seeking a motivated individual to manage our newly formed Data function, as Data and Insights Manager. This is a hands-on managerial role, which will contribute to both the immediate data management requirements and lead on the development of the longer-term Data and Insights Strategy for SCAA.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in embedding a culture of data-driven decision making, using insights and analysis to support future growth, with a particular focus on fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement. They will ensure the right frameworks and infrastructure are in place to allow for effective data management and data-driven decision-making across the charity.
This is a full time role based either at Scone Airport, where SCAA headquarters are located, or at our Aberdeen base at Aberdeen Airport (for Aberdeen-based candidates there will be the requirement to attend our Perth base on an occasional basis). The usual hours and days of work will be Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm. SCAA supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements—our current arrangements consist of a minimum of two office days per week. As our ways of working continue to evolve, we are open to reviewing the hybrid arrangement for this role, and fully remote working may be considered in the longer term.
About You
Essential
- Significant experience leading data strategy, governance or CRM development in a fundraising, marketing or customer insight environment.
- Strong knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance, with understanding of DPO responsibilities.
- Demonstrable experience in designing and interpreting data analysis and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience overseeing CRM systems from a strategic perspective, including planning for improvements or new systems.
- Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualisation tools from a user or strategic oversight perspective.
- Excellent leadership and line management skills, with experience developing staff and building data capability within the wider team.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders with complex data insights.
- Project management skills.
Desirable
- Experience within the charity sector, especially in fundraising or supporter engagement.

About the role

About the role
As Senior Finance & Operations Manager at Future Frontiers, your role is to oversee the finance and operations functions for an ambitious social mobility charity with an income of circa £1.4m and a team of 20 people committed to achieving lasting impact for young people.
You will oversee day-to-day financial operations, manage a small team, and deliver accurate, timely reporting that supports strategic decision-making across the organisation. You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure robust financial planning, compliance, and risk management. Your work will support and enable Future Frontiers’ mission and help us maximise our impact.
Your responsibilities
The focus of this role is on financial management and reporting for the organisation, as well as overseeing operations such as HR processes and IT. Core responsibilities include:
Financial Management and Reporting
- Run the monthly finance cycle to strict deadlines, ensuring accurate and complete data to support decision-making.
- Deliver concise monthly management accounts and variance analysis vs budget in a timely manner with insightful commentary to inform the CEO, SLT and Trustees.
- Oversee receipts and payments, reconciliations, and month-end procedures to ensure data accuracy and robust financial oversight.
- Lead on statutory accounts preparation and external audit to ensure full compliance and smooth audit outcomes.
- Continuously improve financial policies and processes to embed best practice and compliance with relevant legislation and Charity SORP.
Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budget documents, working closely with budget holders and supporting with forecasting and revisions to ensure realistic, well-informed financial plans that align with organisational strategy.
- Produce consolidated accounts, forecasts, and cashflows with commentary to support Trustees’ and SLT’s decision-making.
- Partner with SLT to provide financial analysis that drives operational efficiency and supports income generation and strategic projects.
- Support the SLT to develop multi-year income and expenditure forecasts to aid long-term funding and resource planning.
- Ensure the finance system structure, workflows and reporting remain fit for purpose and effectively support operations.
Operations and Compliance
- Manage relationships with key suppliers and outsourced providers, including landlords, payroll, pensions and insurers to ensure service quality and value for money.
- Oversee the recruitment and on-boarding of new staff, supporting the Finance & Operations Officer to coordinate the process, and supporting recruiting managers as needed.
- Ensure the maintenance of templates and processes to enable line managers to deliver the staff journey including inductions, staff surveys, annual reviews, and exits.
- Oversee the efficient usage of our database, systems and key platforms (including Salesforce, Xero, website), ensuring that the team is well resourced and has sufficient training to perform their roles.
- Oversee the management of IT hardware, software and systems, helping to keep Future Frontiers’ information secure and up to date, and acting as key liaison with third parties.
- Remain up-to-date on Charity SORP, legislation and sector best practice, supporting the CEO to ensure Future Frontiers remains compliant with HMRC, CC, ICO etc and is forward-looking.

- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Finance & Operations team.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, ambition and excellence within the team.

Reporting to the Director of Operations and working closely alongside the rest of the team, the Head of Membership holds an integral position within Cobseo, centred around the day-to-day delivery of the membership function. The post-holder is responsible for pro-actively identifying and securing new members, processing membership applications, managing credit control that relates to membership fees, and acting as the primary point of contact for prospective/members and relevant stakeholders.
The Head of Membership will also drive the development of Cobseo’s membership offer, policies and processes via the design and delivery of a new, research-led, evidence-based Membership Strategy, which will include refining the membership criteria and enhancing membership benefits to elevate the value of Cobseo Membership.
The Head of Membership provides leadership to the Cobseo office team and Executive Committee on all membership matters. They leverage their knowledge of the sector and expertise in customer-centric delivery, in order to provide guidance on Membership decisions during Executive Committee meetings, of which the membership applications are a standing agenda item.
The Head of Membership will be the primary liaison for the new CRM/website project, working closely with the Director of Operations and the Head of Communication & Engagement to ensure that the new system is commissioned, launched, and integrated successfully. They will work with external suppliers including routinely with the external bookkeeper, and on a project basis with the CRM provider and CRM implementation partner to ensure value-for-money procurement and effective project delivery.
As a member of the small Cobseo office team, the Head of Membership, along with the other members of the office team, is expected to lean into issues, opportunities, and workstreams that arise, sometimes at short notice and occasionally outside of their own portfolio.
This role is full time (34.5 hours per week) and is office-based in London for at least 2 days per week in order to facilitate positive relationships with the rest of the team and with stakeholders. There is an option for hybrid/homeworking the rest of the week. Some UK travel is required and the post-holder will occasionally be required to work from external sites, such as events’ venues or in order to visit members’ premises. Normal working hours are maintained wherever possible noting that business activity of a membership organisation, including for some events, is held outwith normal office hours.
The Head of Membership role doesn’t currently have line management responsibility. As the size and shape of the Cobseo office team develops over time, this may change.

Job Purpose
We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and professional Engagement Manager to join our team in Dumfries and Galloway, working specifically in the West of the region. The right candidate would be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrate an understanding and total commitment to our organisational values.
As our Engagement Manager, you will directly support people aged 16+ who may have complex and challenging barriers to securing a positive pathway. This will include barrier identification and removal, supporting pre volunteering activity as well as volunteering placements in their local area.
You will identify, develop, and manage partnerships with charitable and not-for-profit organisations across the West of Dumfries and Galloway, building an effective presence within the third sector locally. You will create diverse, high-quality, structured volunteering opportunities with charity partner organisations, ensuring that volunteering roles reflect the needs and interests of those we support. You will also support the creation of strong referral pathways into our service, and beyond it, building on a knowledge of existing provision

• Engaging directly with people to understand their wants, needs and aspirations and determine the best opportunity for each person, and provide the support they need in advance of volunteering.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with referral partners such as The Council, DWP, SDS etc to ensure a steady stream of referrals are received.
• Identifying, creating and developing relationships with new charity partners or agencies to provide bespoke and tailored volunteering opportunities. These opportunities will support the individuals supported to gain experience, confidence and support them on route to a positive destination.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring exceptional care for both pets and clients while making well-connected, efficient decisions that prioritise pet welfare. As the leader of our home-based pet operations, you’ll oversee the smooth running of daily activities, acting as the subject matter expert in practical animal handling and assessment. We have a new and exciting vacancy, The Centre Manager (the Manager) will play a key role in ensuring the management and smooth running of the Coventry Boys and Girls Club (Centre). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

OTB Choices provides a dynamic portfolio of education, skills, creative and work experience opportunities, from cooking, art and craft to printing, computing, music and customer service, and much more. As Service Manager you will be at the heart of developing and managing these services, ensuring consistently high quality provision that really does make a difference.
You will help lead busy, vibrant services so must have the strength and vision of an experienced manager, a demonstrable track record and shared passion for enabling and empowering people with learning disabilities and/or autism to have their best lives.
