About the role

In this role, you will help deliver high-quality support to unpaid carers by coordinating key elements of our advice and information services. You will manage a small team of freelance advisers, maintain oversight of our helpline provision, and ensure that the support carers receive is accurate, timely, and empathetic. You will also lead online information and peer-support sessions for carers, contribute to the development of helpful resources, and use data and feedback to inform service improvements. The role includes a safeguarding element, supporting the identification and appropriate response to any concerns. Experience in advice services would be an advantage, but we welcome applicants with transferable skills and a strong commitment to making a difference for carers.
 

About you

We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident in communicating clearly and empathetically. You will have excellent planning skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service. You may have experience coordinating people or services and ideally some familiarity with advice provision, helpline delivery, or the wider social care or welfare landscape - although this is not essential. You are comfortable working with data to support service improvement, understand the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality, and are motivated by making a positive impact on the lives of unpaid carers.

We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire supporters and grow income for Southampton Hospitals Charity. 

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging direct marketing campaigns across print, digital and email channels, with a particular focus on one-off appeals, regular donations, and incentivised giving products. 

Working closely with the Marketing & Campaigns Manager and Marketing & Communications Officer, you will develop audience-led supporter journeys, compelling fundraising copy, and test-and-learn approaches to build lasting supporter relationships and maximise income from individual giving. 

Main Responsibilities: 

Campaign development and delivery 

• Work with the Campaigns & Marketing Manager to plan and deliver a calendar of direct marketing campaigns across print, email, and digital, focused on income generation and donor retention. 

• Work with the Marketing and Communications Officer to develop compelling, supporter-centred fundraising copy for appeals, donation forms, landing pages, emails, and stewardship content. 

• Coordinate campaign production, from creative briefing to print and fulfilment, working with suppliers, designers, and mailing house partners as needed. 

• Lead on campaign timelines and ensure activity is delivered on time and within budget. 

• Work with colleagues across the charity to gather impactful case studies and project updates for use in donor communications. 

• Manage and maintain campaign collateral such as templates, thank-you letters, and welcome packs, ensuring brand and message consistency. 

Supporter journeys & stewardship 

• Develop and implement supporter journeys for new and existing individual givers, ensuring timely and relevant follow-ups to donations. 

• Identify opportunities to improve retention and upgrade rates through targeted communications and segmentation. 

• Ensure all donor touchpoints (e.g. donation forms, thank-you pages, emails) provide an excellent experience. 

• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Operation teams to ensure donor communications align with wider charity messaging. 

• Support fundraising campaigns with tailored communications for regular givers, lottery players, payroll givers, and one-off donors. 

Data & insight 

• Work with Database & Insights Officer to segment data, analyse results, and inform decision-making. 

• Regularly track and report on KPIs such as response rate, income, ROI, and donor retention. 

• Lead on A/B testing within appeals and digital communications, using results to optimise future campaigns. 

• Maintain accurate supporter data and adhere to GDPR, PECR, and fundraising best practices. 

Collaboration & compliance 

• Act as a liaison between fundraising and marketing to ensure coordinated and effective campaigns. 

• Ensure all fundraising materials follow brand guidelines and ethical fundraising codes. 

• Stay up to date with trends in individual giving and apply learning to test new ideas and improve performance. 

• Where needed, provide cover or collaborative support for Marketing and Communications Officer during periods of annual leave. 

Person Specification: 

Knowledge and experience 

• Experience working in the charity or healthcare sector 

• Familiarity with direct debit, regular giving or payroll giving programmes 

• Experience supporting or delivering multi-channel fundraising or direct marketing campaigns 

• Excellent copywriting and editing skills for fundraising appeals 

• Experience using CRM systems and data segmentation (Beacon preferred)

As a Debt Advice Caseworker, you will provide high quality advice and casework services to our clients who call through to our national help desk. The role is fully telephone based, at our office in Stoke on Trent. The telephone lines are open from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday, and Saturday 9.30am-1pm. The role includes a variety of shift patterns in line with the requirements of the contract.

Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. We remain committed to our East London roots and currently serve the communities in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and the City of London.

Our Senior Substance Misuse Worker works alongside members of the support team to create a safe and welcoming environment within a psychologically informed environment. You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.

You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.

You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. Be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Senior Substance Misuse Worker is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working.

About this role

About the Role:

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will ensure the provision of high-quality services, maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, and provide strategic leadership to promote and develop our services.

As a Homicide Team Leader, you will:

• Conduct audits and generate reports on case management systems, ensuring compliance with contract reporting requirements and national standards.
• Capture and analyse data to ensure outcome-based and evidenced work.
• Allocate work within the team, monitor daily caseloads, and identify trends or patterns.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, provide safeguarding advice, and prioritise client safety and dignity.
• Collaborate with managers to enhance service delivery, address performance issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Support with caseloads, conduct impact assessments, and provide comprehensive support to team members.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and ongoing support for team members.
• Promote access to services through referrals and partnerships with local organisations.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, share feedback, and ensure effective communication channels.
• Adhere to data protection legislation, confidentiality policies, and organisational procedures.

About You:

Ideally, you will have experience in developing and maintaining partnerships within a multiagency framework, and knowledge of intersectionality, especially when working with vulnerable individuals and those experiencing trauma.

You will need to travel across the region to fulfil job responsibilities and develop your role. Flexibility is essential, as the job may require evening, weekend work, and occasional overnight stays.

You will need:

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system and its impact on victims and witnesses.

About the job
 

LSESU is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about student experience to join our Student Voice Team. You will need to have a good eye for detail, a proactive approach, and be willing to get stuck into all aspects of student democracy. The successful candidate will support the Student Voice Team in the delivery of LSESU’s democratic processes, and lead on key projects such as our annual elections.
 

This role will involve supporting with a variety of tasks, including liaising with key stakeholders, engagement and outreach planning, and database administration. This is the ideal opportunity for someone with an ability to work collaboratively with people, and a passion for delivering high quality opportunities for membership engagement.
