To support the Finance team with efficient and effective financial processing and financial controls, by holding responsibility for the various admin tasks within the team. To maintain close working relationships with other AKF (UK) employees and provide cover of key responsibilities for the Finance Officer (Expenditure) and Finance Officer (Income).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CORE TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Financial administration
• Administration of the donations inbox, liaising with donors and prospective donors for simple queries. Ensuring good organisation of the inbox with a clear labelling system.
• Draft donation acknowledgement letters for donors to acknowledge donations received.
• Management of Raisers Edge donations management system, including:
review of potential duplicate donor records
ensuring documentation for Gift Aid donors
making edits and updates to donor records as and when required.
• Creation of a tracker for Raisers Edge issues to ensure these are managed and dealt with appropriately.
• Follow up with donors who have expressed an interest in Gift Aid.
• Liaising with the Comms team to ensure maintenance of supporters contact list.
• Digital archiving of paper-based records held within the Finance Department.
• Support Finance Managers with the organisation of the shared drive and the Sharepoint site.
• Management of Finance policy and procedure documents library on the shared drive, ensuring these are up-to-date and accessible to staff.
• Scan letters received for finance and deal with these appropriately (sharing with the relevant individual and/or filing on the shared drive).
• Download bank statements on a daily basis and save on the shared drive.
Financial controls
• Reconciliation of simple balance sheet accounts (e.g. petty cash, debit notes, deposit accounts) on a monthly basis. • Reconciliation of properties bank accounts and deposit accounts on a monthly basis.
• Support the Finance Officer (Income) with donations collections and trips to the bank to deposit cash and cheque donations, ensuring all cheques and cash received are banked promptly and securely.
• Provide assistance with the annual audit and the preparation of the statutory accounts, particularly with regard the provision of supporting documentation.
Financial processing
• Manage the corporate credit card process and user register, including onboarding of new users.
• Issue monthly credit card statements to staff members for their expenses submissions.
• Conduct first finance review of monthly credit card submissions and collate the supporting documentation submitted, ready for posting.
• Collate Out of Pocket expenditure claims and conduct a first review of these before processing by the Finance Officer (Expenditure).
• Support the Finance Officer (Income) with quarterly donor pledge statements process.
• Post property and Victoria Hall interest, bank sweeps, and charges into Business Central.
Supporting others
• Perform any other financial duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Financial Controller, Properties Finance Manager, Head of Finance and Operations.
• Supporting Finance Officers (Income and Expenditure) and covering key tasks in their absence
Qualifications
• Educated to A-Levels (desirable).
Experience
• Experience using Excel and MS Office suite.
• Flexible approach to working, able to pick up a variety of tasks/projects with minimal supervision; ability to anticipate issues or scenarios, and to address them proactively
• Experience of charity accounting and knowledge of such requirements (desirable).
Skills
• Highly organised with good administrative skills.
• Good interpersonal, customer care and liaison skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Fluent in oral and written English.

The Role
The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.
You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.
Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.
The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
- Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
- Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
- Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
- Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
- Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met
- Demonstrate everyone safe and well everywhere, every day by making health and safety a primary consideration in your decision making
What we need from you
A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

Fundraising:

Stewardship:

- Support the stewardship of Major Donor Prospects and support development of donor pathways

ROLE SUMMARY
The Student Administration Officer will work with the Associate facing Programmes team to support the successful delivery of the upReach programme, focused on the programme operations of onboarding new Associates.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will contribute to upReach's mission by working with our programme team to facilitate the onboarding of new Associates. You will be responsible for key processes and tasks on the Associate Tracking System, to enable upReach to deliver effectively and to meet objectives and key results (OKRs). These include:

Associate Tracking System: steward applicants through the pipeline; confirm student eligibility; answering applicant and Programme Coordinator queries; track and report on pipeline progress; help Programme Coordinators with reporting on programme application progress;

Ensuring our communications to applicants and prospective applicants are accurate and effective including email templates and call scripts;

Assisting the student attraction team to deliver effective campaigns promoting our programmes;

Assisting with other programme delivery activities as needed;

Our mission is to help people across the world protect and restore their land to safeguard biodiversity and the climate. Working through a network of partner organisations around the world, we fund the creation of reserves and provide permanent protection for habitats and wildlife.
About the role
As Corporate Partnerships Officer, you'll play a crucial role within our highly successful corporate partnerships team. Your primary responsibility will be to administer, steward and nurture relationships with existing corporate supporters. You'll provide engaging correspondence to thank and inspire our supporters on the impact of their support to ensure their continued commitment and consistent income to achieve the charity's mission.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Provide the highest possible quality of experience and stewardship to the charity's corporate partners
- Efficiently keep up to date with donation payment schedules to ensure pledges are fulfilled
- Issue Donation Pledge and Logo Use invoice requests
- Provide acknowledgement emails and certificates
- Stay informed with the charity's core philanthropic and Carbon Balanced programmes and provide engaging email communications to our partners
- Maintain records and extract data from our CRM as required
About you
We're looking for a people-person who's passionate about building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to enhance stewardship. You'll be a highly collaborative team player, with exceptional, warm and professional communication skills. You'll have strong administrative skills and an investigative approach to resolving issues. Attention to detail, ability to plan and prioritise competing priorities, and strong numeracy skills are all skills which will help you succeed in this important role.
Ideally, you'll have previous experience administering and stewarding an existing client base and supporting longer-term relationships. You'll will also ideally have experience of working in fundraising in a non-profit organisation.
