The Willow Major Events Team hosts a range of events to engage Willow’s key supporters. These range in large-scale events such as the Willow Ball and London Football Awards, to smaller more intimate events such as Golf and Shoot Days.

Job purpose

• This role will support the delivery of Willow’s programme of Major Events, as well as supporting third party events, ensuring that these promote and present Willow in a professional and compelling manner, maximising opportunities for donor cultivation, fundraising and maximising income generation.
• To work with the Events Manager on delivering events to an exceptional standard.
• To lead on auction procurement and fulfilment to maximise fundraising revenue.

Key responsibilities

Core Events

• To support the events strategy through delivery of high-quality events, designed to attract current and new supporters.
• To support the Events Fundraising Manager in ensuring that each event plan is actioned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as working with external suppliers, ensuring all suppliers work to agreed terms and conditions
• To assist in the research, development and planning of potential new event opportunities, ensuring that the events programme evolves in response to new fundraising requirements, opportunities and sector trends.
• With support from Event Manager, lead on events within the portfolio, working with key stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring delivery of a high-quality event.

Auction

• Lead on securing auction prizes for relevant events, developing relationships with key supporters and external businesses to secure exclusive and desirable auction items.
• Manage the auction fulfilment process, ensuring all auction winners are thanked post event and that lots are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Oversee online auction platform, ensuring accurate listings, engaging descriptions and looking for ways to maximise income.

Event Supporter Stewardship

• Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, guests and stakeholders ensuring excellent stewardship and recognition
• To identify opportunities to engage or recruit new event supporters to existing or new events in the Willow calendar.

General

• To support the Events Manager with financial management of each event, supporting on areas such as: budgeting, planning, controlling and monitoring expenditure as appropriate and managing income against targets, KPI’s and provide regular revised projections as required.
• To maintain good practice in the use of database system (Raiser’s Edge), including the events module, ensuring that information is recorded accurately to allow for excellent supporter care, stewardship and accurate analysis of event performance.
• To keep up to date with current competitor activity, potential new opportunities for events and improved ways of managing and developing events.
• To keep up to date and comply with fundraising, data protection and other relevant legislation and codes of practice and good standards.
• To undertake any other tasks reasonably required.

Role Overview

Around 75% of your time will be devoted to securing funding from trusts and foundations. Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

Key responsibilities:

The Digital Content & Creative Officer role provides support to Crimestoppers and Crimestoppers’ youth service Fearless, in creating impactful content and campaigns that empower people to speak up about crime.

You will be responsible for filming, creating, and scheduling organic and paid social media content, and as the face of Fearless’ social media platforms, feature in the content yourself. You will play a key role in shaping and driving forward Fearless’ communications strategy to ensure Fearless’ social media platforms remain relevant, engaging and supportive of Crimestoppers overall aims.

You will contribute to the development of Crimestoppers and Fearless national and regional campaign ideas, content and messaging and manage the execution and reporting of multi-channel communication activities. You will use data from campaigns, as well as insights from focus groups, to inform future projects.

Patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) is a fundamental approach in our work at UCLPartners. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some experience in patient involvement or community engagement to coordinate and support activities to ensure patients, carers and communities are at the forefront of UCLPartners’ work.

Reporting to the Head of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement and closely working with our Patient, Carer and Public Advisory Panel, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support development and delivery of projects that support inclusive and meaningful PPIE.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

PPIE Planning and Coordination:

• Support the delivery and evaluation of the UCLPartners Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) strategy.
• Support the development of new ways of equitably involving patients, carers and the public from across our region in what we do, ensuring we work with communities facing the biggest health challenges.
• Support the delivery of the UCLPartners Patient, Carer and Public Advisory Panel, including organising panel meetings, co-facilitating sessions, and providing guidance and training to current members
• Support the continued development of the Lived Experience Network including recruitment and demographic monitoring.

PPIE Support and Development:

• Support the provision of PPIE advice to staff and innovators, including providing additional facilitation and hands-on activity support (when required).
• Support patient, carer and community contributors with induction, ongoing training and feedback processes.

Operational duties:

• Act as a point of contact for patient, carer and public contributors to ensure clear, two-way communication.
• Support patients, carers and communities through the ‘Contributor Payment Process’ to ensure timely reimbursement
• Lead the safe and secure data management and up-to-date record keeping within PPIE activities
• Develop content to share and promote our PPIE work including patient-facing newsletters
• Carry out any other duties as requested by the line manager

You

• Experience of designing or delivering patient/public involvement or community engagement activities
• Ability to involve and work with diverse groups of patients, carers and community groups in a way that builds trust and transparency
• Experience of delivering involvement and engagement activities such as workshops, focus groups, and coproduction sessions
• Familiarity with online tools to support engagement (i.e. Zoom, Padlet, Miro, Slido)
• Experience of developing content for external communications such as newsletters 
• A strong understanding and commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion in healthcare 
• Ability to work flexibly in the planning and organisation of multiple strands of work
• Ability to work as both as part of a team and independently according to project needs
• Experience of advising and supporting the development of involvement activities and projects is desirable
• Experience of working with researchers, professionals, and innovators in the health and care sector is desirable

Terms and Conditions

The PPIE Officer will report into the Head of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement and work closely with all our teams and functions. The remuneration for this post is competitive depending on skills and experience with a salary range of £36,010 to £51,500 per annum.

This is a full-time, permanent position although 4 days a week will also be considered. Some evening and weekend working will be required to support involvement activities.

We offer flexible working arrangements and support hybrid working at UCLPartners. All staff will typically spend a minimum of 40% of their working time at the UCLPartners office i.e. for a minimum of 2 days/week if full-time or 40% of your working time for part-time staff. This can be averaged over a 3-month period.

Join the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) as our E-learning Project Manager for the Radiology Integrated Training Initiative (R-ITI) — and help shape the future of radiology education across the UK and beyond.
We’re redeveloping one of the most respected radiology e-learning programmes in the world — R-ITI — and we need a driven, strategic and organised Project Manager to bring it to life.

In this 18-month fixed-term role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of over 300 digital learning modules. You’ll collaborate with the Learning Development Manager, the Learning Technologist and the e-learning faculty comprising Subject Matter Experts (SMEs – who are doctors) while undertaking the project to relaunch these essential resources on our new Learning Management System (LMS).

You’ll not only be supporting radiologists in their professional development but you’ll also play a key role is helping ensure the offering is financially sustainable, enabling us to reinvest in growing our influence and impact globally.

What you’ll do 

• Oversee the entire life cycle of selected R-ITI modules marked for redevelopment, from establishing SME groups to review and update content, to working with learning technology colleagues to produce and publish them on time and within budget on RCR’s LMS. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives and provide support to the working groups whilst they redevelop the modules. 
• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
• Be responsible for overall quality control of newly developed content by working collaboratively with SMEs and learning technology colleagues to create accurate, engaging and effective e-learning content for our members. 
• Lead cross-functional teams consisting of SMEs, internal or externally sourced e-learning developers, designers, and quality assurance testers.
• Be the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing necessary support, troubleshooting queries and ensuring strategically sound decisions are made.
• Manage project budgets and promptly report any potential spending variances to the Learning Development Manager. 

What you’ll need 

• Excellent project management skills with evidence of delivering complex projects to the highest of standards, on time and on budget
• Experience of working with busy stakeholders, especially those who work on a voluntary basis
• Experience of developing e-learning content and working with digital learning platforms
• Experience of collaborating with doctors or other medical professionals would be advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills to help negotiate, solve problems, and share knowledge with all stakeholders where needed
