About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Operations and working collaboratively with other senior managers, the Senior Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of all operational projects in line with cost/time/quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• To support the implementation of the new project management approach for Drinkaware.

• Day to day project management from start to finish for key identified operational projects, supporting cross functional teams to deliver.

• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure effective evaluation and impact assessment of each programme.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive project and programme management documentation.

Project Delivery

• Manage multiple large-scale projects that require strategic planning and stakeholder management.

• Resource Management – Oversee and ensure all projects have the right resource allocation and are managing budgets and tracking progress against key milestone.

• Risk Management - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

• Work in collaboration to scope, plan and coordinate project activities with clearly defined objectives, outputs and critical success factors for operational projects.

• Proactively address issues and challenges that may arise during project execution.

About you:

You will be an accomplished project manager, with a high degree of business acumen and substantial experience of setting up and delivering projects working with and through multiple stakeholders and partners. This position requires a methodical thinker with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills and a proven track record in project management and reporting. Providing rigorous operational support and programme administration as needed.

Essential Criteria / Key Skills:

A recognised project management qualification and/or significant experience of managing multiple projects within the charity or health sector.

• Experience of effectively collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrable success of working with a broad range of partners from acquisition through to implementation.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Experience of writing clear, concise, project status reports and accurately maintaining project documentation.

We are looking for an Evidence & Insight Analyst to support the delivery of the Crohn’s & Colitis UK Evidence and Insight programme, delivering evidence and insight across the whole range of experience of all those affected by Crohn’s and Colitis to support the strategic aims of Crohn’s & Colitis UK. 

The role

This role requires translation of quantitative and qualitative data into clear, actionable insights and stories that can be communicated effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across the charity. The role also includes supporting the Evidence & Insight (E&I) team with the collation of existing evidence,  working with external agencies and partners to support the delivery of targeted E&I projects, developing networks, and horizon scanning across the sector to keep up to date on E&I programmes. The post-holder will have key involvement in supporting the communication of the  E&I team’s work across the charity by developing and coordinating a centralised resource for up-to-date reports, findings, and statistics.  The post holder will also contribute strategically to Evidence & Insight operations and documentation.

About you

We are looking for someone with a proactive mindset, who has a creative approach to exploring data.Ideally you will have already had experience of working in the charity or non-profit sectors and have strong analytical and technical skills including an understanding of CRM systems, conducting statistical analysis such as regression and hypothesis testing and be proficient in data management and manipulation using tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, SPSS, R or similar.  You will be adept at working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders to support the delivery of targeted projects and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to be at face-to-face meetings. Your role is to manage a range of Central Services for the Eikon Charity and to be a familiar constant presence in the Eikon offices. Central Services includes IT, Data Compliance, Health and Safety, Facilities. Facilities includes the site at Fullbrook and the associated site maintenance of the cabins and the garden. In addition to this you will line manage the reception function on site. A portion of the role will be managing outsourced providers who are accountable to support the specialist nature of these services. These outsource providers include Health and Safety (Croner) IT (ramsac) Data Protection (Satswana). You will also support the service data management work, this involves monthly reporting and service data provision, in accordance with the reporting calendar.

Responsibilities 

IT Management

• Manage the operational IT delivery via Eikon’s IT partner (ramsac) 
• Manage the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure
• Oversee and direct the work and tasks of the data officer (IT support)
• Attend quarterly management meetings with outsourced IT provider including technical IT consultant visits
• Oversee Help Desk approvals
• Review monthly total IT estate in partnership with ramsac and Data Officer
• IT hardware, software and comms:
• Manage the relationship with repair partner (one touch) and disposal partner (CPR)
• Manage the procurement processes for hardware, the installation and allocation of hardware (e.g. printers, AV equipment, laptop, mobile devices, wifi infrastructure etc.) with the support of the Data Officer
• Manage the communications licenses with our comms partner (DRC)

Data Protection and Management

Data Reporting (Services)

• Responsible for fire, health and safety management and standards across the whole organisation, supported by a specialist organisation (Croner)
• Responsible for managing the Health and Safety relationships with the outsourced provider (Croner)

  • Ensuring Fire Health and safety procedures in place for the Fullbrook site

Facilities

• Manage the facilities at Fullbrook, including the provision of reception roles and responsibilities, office and garden maintenance and support to onsite teams, interior and exterior décor – including noticeboards 
• This includes line management of your team and dotted line supervision for garden club volunteers for garden maintenance; this includes managing the relationship with the gardening contractor
• Overseeing annual compliance checks. e.g Pat Testing; Smoke alarms; air conditioning units
• Managing the relationship with the outsourced cleaning contractor (Minster Cleaning Services)
• Responsible for reception cover. From time to time it may be necessary for you to support in filling gaps in reception cover. i.e. sickness/holidays/absence

About the role

• Lead on establishing and maintaining a ‘single source of the truth’ on arthritis and musculoskeletal statistics and data within the charity and beyond. This includes our annual State of MSK Health statistics report and other statistics publications.
• Support on the development and delivery of a pipeline of insightful MSK and health data analysis and quantitative research, to better understand the UK population with arthritis and MSK conditions and to inform the direction of Versus Arthritis’ ambitions, strategy, policy and services work.
• Work with others, particularly colleagues in UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence, to influence improved quality, extent and use of musculoskeletal health data by statutory bodies across the four UK nations, including Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID), National Health Service (NHS), Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), nationally and locally to improve musculoskeletal health nationally.
• Manage and maintain our health intelligence website, intranet and Sharepoint pages and data enquiries inbox, ensuring they are up to date, reflect the latest developments of the health intelligence function in the charity and that queries are answered on time.

About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Demonstrate sound knowledge of epidemiological research methods including experience of using multiple sets of health-related data and information systems, and large-scale data sets for policy, quality improvement or research purposes.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. The Compliance Team’s role is to provide assurance that, based on evidence, internal controls are in place and are operating effectively. We are responsible for ensuring Centrepoint can operate and develop safely within regulatory frameworks. The team, which consists of managers, officers and a head of department, oversees several aspects of compliance across Centrepoint, including fundraising, employability & skills, data protection, complaints, internal policies and procedures and safeguarding.   

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The current requirement is a minimum of two days in the office per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. The Research & Information Officer will play a crucial role in gathering, analysing, and disseminating information to support Bone Cancer Research Trust’s research activities and patient information resources.

Research is a key priority for the Charity and the people who support it.
