About the Role
Coram is contracted by the Department of Education to provide a data service to deliver the quarterly data collection on adoption and special guardianship orders, and develop and establish an annual adoption support data collection. The ASG Data team consists of three members and sits alongside the Impact and Evaluation Team within the Coram Institute for Children.
The Senior Data and Performance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the work of the ASG Data team. The post holder will support with the ASG data collection, the development of the Adoption Support data collection, undertake data analysis and reporting, and visualisations to provide high quality data intelligence for the DfE and adoption sector.
This post would suit someone who has experience of data collection, recording, reporting and visualising complex data and information, preferably within the adoption, charity or public sector context, is an advanced user of Excel and Python, and is confident in presenting data to a range of audiences.

About the role and you
We are looking for a data professional to support and manage significant changes in the way our charity uses, processes and manages data. Our teams pride themselves on evidence-informed practice, using research and data to enhance their work at every stage. There are elements of our charity’s work which are unique to our field, making our data highly valuable in contributing to the future of preventing child sexual abuse. We collect data all the time: on the individual progress of our clients, the reach of our campaigns and the demand for our support. As part of our new Tech and Data Strategy, we are taking the next stage in our use of data analysis and data science, ensuring that we use our data more effectively and efficiently to support our teams in preventing child sexual abuse.
We are looking for a Data Scientist/Analyst to help us make this change. You will be based in the LFF Research Team, reporting to our Director of Research and Impact.
This role will facilitate better use, processing and management of data across the organisation. It will focus on four areas:
- Data systems and structures
- Data analysis
- Data visualisation
- Data security and compliance
The postholder will work alongside experienced researchers to develop a new portfolio of priority projects to enhance our work. With no fixed task list or assigned service, this role offers the freedom to explore and innovate, identifying where data, data science, and data systems can drive real change.
This role will be remote or hybrid - we have offices in Bromsgrove, Epsom and Edinburgh.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Audit Data Analyst to join our Research and Quality Improvement Directorate, which promotes evidence-based practice and improves health outcomes for children. This is an exciting opportunity to work on national audit programmes that shape paediatric care across the UK.
Reporting to the Project Manager (Audits), you will manage complex healthcare datasets, lead on data analysis using R/R Studio, and produce high-quality outputs for clinicians, commissioners, and policy makers. You’ll play a key role in delivering robust, reproducible analytical pipelines and ensuring data integrity and security throughout the audit lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing secure handling and analysis of complex audit datasets, ensuring compliance with data governance and protection requirements.
- Developing reproducible analytical pipelines to underpin audit outputs and support cross-audit working.
- Analysing large datasets using R/R Studio, producing results at unit, ICB, regional and national levels, and identifying trends and outliers.
- Maintaining robust data management processes within GitHub environments for version control and collaboration.
- Producing reports and data outputs for diverse audiences, including clinicians, commissioners, regulators, and patient stakeholders.
- Acting as a point of contact for technical and data-related queries from those submitting data for analysis.
- Planning analytical processes for upcoming projects and contributing to departmental reports, including interpretation and editorial content.

Essential skills and experience:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in social or medical science, statistics, or another numerate discipline.
- Proven experience using R/R Studio (or VS Code) for data cleaning, aggregation, recoding, merging, and advanced analysis (including regression).
- Experience producing high-quality written reports and documentation for varied audiences.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and version control, including experience with GitHub.
- Ability to manage and interrogate large, complex datasets and apply appropriate statistical methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals.
- High level of numeracy, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Role purpose
In this new role, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Policy, Research and Consultancy team’s evidence base and enhance our capacity to generate meaningful insights. Key responsibilities
- Data analysis and insight
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyse datasets using both traditional analytical methods and AI-enabled tools to support policy, research, impact, and consultancy activities.

We are recruiting for a permanent Lead Business Analyst (data) to join the Service Design team. The Fund is embarking on an exciting digital journey over the coming years. This role will put you at the heart of those ambitions.
As Lead Business Analyst (Data) at the National Lottery Community Fund, you will be the strategic authority for data and analysis, operating across all levels of the organisation within a multidisciplinary, agile digital environment (by partnering and cross functional working with digital, technology, business intelligence and funding teams). As a recognised subject matter expert, you will provide thought leadership and authoritative guidance in all aspects of data, business, and systems analysis, ensuring the Fund’s digital and organisational ambitions are realised.
You will set a clear strategic direction for data and analysis, navigating complexity and engaging confidently with senior audiences to influence decisions at pace. This includes shaping the prioritisation of complex data requirements, enabling both long-term strategic decision-making and short-term tactical solutions, while ensuring all proposed approaches align with the Fund’s overarching strategy and digital vision.
Through a comprehensive and expert-level understanding of business processes, operational systems, and organisational data, you will act as the principal point of contact for Fund-wide business definitions, processes, scalable data products/services, and data standards. You will ensure these are secure, legal, accessible and compliant by design.
From a business perspective you will define and lead how data will impact existing/future business processes, data management responsibilities, tools, and governance processes, enabling continuous improvement in data practices and compliance with governance policies. You will also be analysing how data impacts across the Funds technical architecture landscape and systems.
As an expert in business analysis, you will also set the strategic direction for the discipline itself, mentoring and managing a small team of business analysts while cultivating a strong community of practice. You will build analytical capability across the Fund, embedding business analysis as a core enabler of digital transformation.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Set the strategic vision and direction for business analysis across the Fund’s digital services from a data perspective.
- Own and govern the business analysis methodology, designing and implementing robust data collection, instrumentation, and reporting processes. Safeguard the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data across the Fund.
- Ensure data analysis is technically robust, assess the impact across the Funds technical architecture landscape and systems and ensure recommendations strategically align with organisational goals.
- Analyse a wide array of data, research, insight, and metrics to inform service, product, and business process redesign.
- Act as the authoritative voice for data and analysis within the digital team, providing expert advice and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and business areas.
- Lead, mentor, and coach colleagues to build analytical capability and confidence across teams, cultivating a strong community of practice that elevates business analysis across the Fund.

Essential Criteria:
- Deep knowledge of data frameworks, data regulatory standards and data legal compliance.
- Proven experience of carrying out data analysis using different analysis methodologies across a complex technical/systems architecture landscape.
- Ability to analyse and use a range of data to make recommendations and implemented business process re-engineering to support organisational goals and strategies.
- Experience of implementing rigorous data governance, quality assurance, and validation practices to ensure trusted insights that drive strategic decision-making.
- Ability to provide expert advice, strategic recommendations and influence senior leadership and business areas that improve digital services while maintaining data integrity and compliance.
- Ability to act as a bridge between technical & non-technical colleagues when discussing complex data problems and solutions.
Desirable Criteria:
- Led, mentored, and coached colleagues to build analytical capability and confidence across teams, cultivating a strong community of practice that elevates business analysis within an organisation.
- Holds or is working towards an industry-recognised qualification in Business Analysis (e.g. BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis) or Data Analytics (e.g. IIBA Certification in Business Data Analytics), although practical experience is more important

The trust is an independent body in England that ensures organizations funded by dormant bank accounts (Better Society Capital, Access Foundation, Youth Futures, Fair4All Finance) stay true to their social missions, overseeing their governance and impact without interfering in daily operations. It holds the Operating Companies accountable for social good, reviewing their strategies, financial reporting, and impact, ensuring they deliver on objectives related to social investment and financial inclusion.
The Impact and Data Analyst is a new role, supporting the Board in exercising effective oversight of good governance, impact and DEI across the Operating Companies. The focus of the role is to review, synthesise and interpret information and evidence provided by the Operating Companies and other relevant sources, to support Board-level assurance, insight and decision-making.
The successful candidate will have sufficient technical expertise to assess the quality and credibility of data and evidence, and to support proportionate analysis or synthesis where this adds value to Board oversight. Other requirements of the role include the sound understanding of governance, impact or DEI related concepts, proficiency in using data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, NVivo), to undertake analysis and develop outputs that support synthesis and Board-level insight, and to assess the robustness, reliability and limitations of evidence provided. Experience within a non-profit or impact led environment would be a bonus.
