We are continuing our work following our latest round of funding, and as a result we are now seeking an Associate Director to join our Commercial team.
As an Associate Director in our Commercial team, you’ll help lead the development, testing, and scaling of innovative financial products and services through strategic partnerships. Working at the intersection of commercial contracting, product development, and social impact, you’ll drive key initiatives to transform access to credit, insurance, and savings across the UK.
You will know your way around a contract and be adept at negotiating terms. You will also know how to dig through the ‘noise’ of a proposal to get to the real information, whilst ensuring you mitigate risk for the organisation on the schemes & pilots that you do progress.

Key Responsibilities:
· Lead commercial lifecycle for new product pilots – from opportunity development and partner engagement through to contracting, testing, and evaluation.
· Identify and engage mainstream and mission-aligned financial providers to co-design, pilot, and scale new propositions.
· Run transparent competitive processes, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure clarity, value for money and impact.
· Oversee delivery and evaluation of pilot projects, ensuring robust data capture, impact measurement and evidence-based decision making.
· Design and structure long-term financial instruments (e.g. subsidies, guarantees) to enable sustainable scale-up of successful propositions.
· Work closely with our Propositions and Investment teams to structure deals and build investment cases for propositions.
· Represent Fair4All Finance externally with C-suite stakeholders, financial providers, and at sector events.
· Ensure sound financial and contract management; contribute to investment committee papers and internal reporting.
· Support internal knowledge sharing, deputise for senior leaders, and contribute to building a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
Essential experience and qualifications:
· Proven track record in developing and delivering commercial partnerships, ideally involving financial products or services.
· Expertise in commercial negotiations, procurement, contract management, and structuring financial arrangements.
· Familiarity with consumer-facing financial services and their delivery models.
· Strong stakeholder management, with experience operating in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
· Experience working alongside investment teams on capital deployment or investment structures.
· High level of numeracy and ability to build and present commercial business cases.
· Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management skills.
· A collaborative team player with self-starter mentality and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
Desirable experience
· Experience working in or with the public sector or civil service.
· Understanding of public procurement, subsidy control, and assessing economic/social value.

The project:

This role plays a critical part in coordinating the group offering for women accessing our services, as well as providing administration support across the region.
In short you will:
- Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach
- Ensure the client waiting area is kept tidy with up-to-date information/leaflets and supplies of refreshments
- Facilitate direct group delivery and events at the Women’s Centre and regional venues
- Hold responsibility for the Minerva telephone number and email account in your region
- Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region
- Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria
- Assist the Service Manager in managing the smooth running of the Women’s Centre in your region, including managing the group workshops timetable, arranging meetings and booking external venues for client groups or training events
- Manage administration for the Hampshire Minerva team
- Assist the Service Manager with the quality assurance and collation of data and information as required, including for funder reports.

The Role
The Active Together Programme is designed to prepare people with cancer for, and recover from, treatment quickly and to assist them to maintain healthy lifestyles after their cancer diagnosis. Further, the research evidence shows that exercise, part of the Active Together Service, can improve survival and quality of life of cancer patients.
The charity will be delivering the Active Together programme through our new Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre at Hornbeam Park, Harrogate. The service is open to patients in Yorkshire.
Reporting to the Head of Active Together, as Lead Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for establishing and delivering the physical activity component of the Active Together programme; training and managing a team of Fitness Instructors who deliver the Active Together service; supporting and advising on a range of fitness activities / services to develop and deliver a rehabilitation service for adults with a cancer diagnosis; working collaboratively to deliver a multidisciplinary, inclusive and responsive service, ensuring customer service excellence and responding to service user diversity.
Specifically, you will:
Service delivery and operations
- Lead a team to deliver the Active Together service in the charity’s first bespoke cancer centre in Harrogate.
- Manage and train the Fitness Instructors delivering the Active Together, Harrogate service.
- Implement evidenced based updates to the Active Together Service as provided by the AWRC to ensure the Active Together Programme is implemented correctly ensuring treatment fidelity and to ensure evaluation data is collected.
- Ensure the Active Together service provides advice, guidance and support to adult service users affected by cancer, adhering to service standards; providing high quality care and support.
- Ensure the services can cater to service users who may have difficulties relating to the complex emotional, psychological and physical aspects of their cancer diagnosis.
- Prepare for and confidently conduct initial appointments / assessments with new members and support the Fitness Instructors to independently deliver initial appointments/assessments.
- Create, evaluate and reassess individualised and group exercise plans to formulate a specialised programme of care for service users.
- Deliver group, and individual, exercise sessions as part of the Active Together Service.
- Provide in-depth guidance and support for a diverse range of queries; maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive issues with appropriate tact and diplomacy.
- Support or lead, where appropriate, specific projects/schemes/areas of work and evaluate the impact and effectiveness.
Communications
- Assist with communications and the promotion of activities/services following an established set of protocols and principles, in collaboration with other areas delivering the Active Together programme as required.
- Support the development of online and public-facing resources and proactively ensure information is kept up to date and accurate e.g. social media channels, designated websites.
Key working relationships
- Lead the team of Fitness Instructors by supporting them to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Allocate work and deploy resources to ensure they effectively manage their caseload of Active Together members ensuring staff work within relevant framework and to agreed service standards.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To have a CIMPSA endorsed Level 4 qualification in Cancer and Exercise Rehabilitation.
- To have evidence of continued professional development relevant to the role purpose and level.
- To have experience of operating as a Lead Fitness Instructor.
- To have experience of confidently and professionally delivering safe and effective exercise classes and individual exercise programmes to people living with cancer.
- To have experience of carrying out risk assessments, exercise assessments and contributing to ongoing evaluation of services. prescribing personalised exercise programmes.
- To have in-depth knowledge of the benefits of exercise rehabilitation for people living with long term conditions including people living with cancer.
- To have outstanding customer service manner and customer service skills.
- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering a service and working directly with Active Together members.
- To be proficient at using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to input and interpret data, to ensure reliable analysis and informed decision making.

As a Housing Domestic Abuse Advocate, you will provide intervention, advocacy, and support to survivors of domestic abuse. Working within a fast-paced team, you will help empower women and ensure that the voice of survivors informs every stage of their journey towards improved safety. You will have your own caseload of survivors who hold social tenancies with local authorities or housing associations, and you will encourage them to engage with our service and ensure they have access to support. You will also co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support which focuses on working with domestic abuse survivors to maintain their tenancies and prevent homelessness.
About You:
To be successful as the Domestic Abuse Housing Advocate you will need the below experience and skills:
You will bring solid experience of supporting women who have experienced domestic abuse in all its forms; coming from a sector with transferrable skills or possess a feminist/VAWG degree and be keen to learn and to train on the job. You will have a good understanding of violence against women and girls with a particular focus on the dynamics of domestic abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, so-called ‘honour-based violence’, forced marriage, stalking and harassment) and its impact on women, children, families, and communities. You will have proven skills and experience in conducting comprehensive assessments of needs and risk for survivors experiencing domestic abuse, including carrying out short risk management and safety planning. We will expect that you have experience in assessing the needs and safety of any children that women using the service may have and an understanding of the criminal justice system and relevant legislation with regard to legal and civil options, housing, benefits, matrimonial and children. Lastly you will bring your knowledge of safeguarding practice, procedures, and legislation.
With many skills and qualities to add to this role, if you have good IT literacy, data collection and monitoring these skills are maximised in your role. If you have experience or have been trained or are qualified in the fields related to substance misuse, criminal jusice, law, social work or domestic abuse we would love to hear from you.

Church of England Birmingham (CofEB) is on a journey of growing churches at the heart of every community. Through this we are seeing growth in many exciting ways. Financially we are at a challenging point. We have had an operational deficit for a number of years and this cannot continue. There are current conversations happening with the National Church around how we get to a sustainable platform through partnership. One key aspect of this is for us to increase our Common Fund returns (the giving from our parishes that supports the costs of our life together). We are taking a radical new approach to our finances which includes intentional reallocation of income to support the costs in our most economically deprived parishes and deeper relationships with each parish around finance through conversation rather than correspondence. Over the next five years we are hoping to be able to move to a financially sustainable platform which will enable us to better serve our communities in the future.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We need a Head of Generosity to lead the team, and project, that will focus on developing long term relationships with all of our parishes leading to:
- Greater support for our parishes.
- Increased generosity by, and within, our parishes.
- Increased Common Fund.
A steering Group has been established, which the Head of Generosity will be a part of, to plan, design and implement the activities needed to deliver our vision. Through partnership with the National Church we are expecting that there will be four members of this Generosity Team.
This role, and the team, will need to work closely with Archdeacons and Area Deans, Directors of Mission, Ministry and Finance (and their teams), the Head of Communications and many others. We have one strategy and this is a part of that so needs to link well with all other parts.
The Head of Generosity will also be Bishops Advisor for Common Fund. Bishop Michael is passionate about supporting our parishes and seeing Common Fund increase and this role will both channel his desire to parishes and help reflect what is learnt back to the Bishop as we progress.
The post holder will have the support of the National Giving Team who have extensive experience and resources to support those responsible for giving and generosity. They will also be given access to a strong and growing national network of people in similar roles. Their experience has proven invaluable to people in roles similar to this, building on best practice and learning from others across 41 Dioceses.
The role will have the following key responsibilities:
- Support in the recruitment and the establishment of the Generosity Team.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the members of the Generosity Team.
- Support the delivery design of this project and deliver the actions agreed by the Steering Group.
- Lead on Parish engagement across all areas of generosity, including the spiritual / theological nature.
- Appropriately discern and allocate team members to support different phases of the process and the different and wide-ranging developmental needs of parishes.
Through the team:
- Create a bespoke multi year plan for Common Fund with every parish with key stakeholders including Archdeacons.
- Provide consultancy, resources, and hands-on support to parishes to grow regular giving, legacies, and other forms of financial support. This work will be able to draw on the resources developed by the national church as well as the data held on their Cornerstone Platform. The post-holder will be expected to engage in the work of the National Giving Team as part of the development of these wider resources.
- Develop and deliver training for clergy, lay leaders and PCCs, on financial management and giving and generosity with the Ministry team.
- Encourage and assist parishes in the implementation of the Parish Giving Scheme, introduction of contactless giving mechanisms and related diocesan initiatives.
- Source, develop and curate practical resources (digital and print) to support local stewardship campaigns and initiatives.
- Evaluate the impact of stewardship and generosity initiatives and adapt strategies accordingly to achieve the project outcomes.
- Create compelling communication tools that articulate the impact of generosity with our communication team.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience preferably in financial management, fundraising, or stewardship within a faith-based or nonprofit organisation.
- Strong understanding of church governance structures and financial operations and requirements.
- Knowledge of generosity principles and Christian financial stewardship.
- A prayerful Christian with a deep commitment to the Church’s mission (Genuine Occupational Requirement).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The post-holder will be employed by the Diocesan Board of Finance for five years.
Salary and Pension: Salary of £48,000 plus membership of the Church Worker’s Pension Scheme with 12% employer contribution. We are open to discussion especially if you are ordained and are moving out of parish ministry.
Hours: Full-time 35 hours (5 days) per week. Weekend and evening work will be required, for which the equivalent time may be taken back from standard working hours. We are happy to consider requests for flexible working, and please do mention in your application if you would be interested in looking at alternative working hours.
Holidays: 5 weeks per year plus Bank Holidays and 3 Discretionary Days between Christmas and New Year

Are you enthusiastic in sharing your passion for ecology? Can you bring conservation to life, engaging mixed ability groups in playing an active role in encouraging nature and wildlife in an urban area? The Talbot Village Trust has an exciting opportunity for a new post of Conservation Volunteer Co-ordinator to deliver community volunteering schemes in our woodland in Wallisdown.
Following successful volunteering schemes over the last two winters, we’re keen to develop our conservation volunteer scheme, inviting local residents, university students and ad hoc corporate groups to experience practical conservation firsthand, and learn more about the ecology of this space. Led by our woodland management plan and ecology surveys, the work will help measurably enrich the biodiversity of the woodland, sharing conservation techniques and improving understanding of the ecology with our volunteers and the wider public.
This post is held within a small and developing team within the charity, aiming to build closer relationships between our local community, the land we steward and the wildlife living here. The role will be supported by other members of our staff team and our deeply committed trustees.
The successful candidate will work with volunteers of all ages, including supervised secondary school groups, and will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS Check. To ensure our scheme is accessible, this role will offer volunteering sessions at weekends, as well as during the week.
Key responsibilities:
- Designing and supervising volunteer conservation sessions
- Design and deliver a programme of engaging and well managed woodland maintenance volunteering tasks, based on a programme averaging 3 sessions each week, that will bring about meaningful biodiversity changes
- Contribute to establishing and undertake measurements to monitor the impact of the changes that are made, including by conducting wildlife surveys, setting up the recording on national databases where appropriate. These will supplement the professional surveying already in place.
- Ensuring all activities are fully risk assessed, taking into account the needs and abilities of each volunteer, and the daily and changing conditions
- Establish and support cohesive groups of volunteers, bringing together people of different backgrounds to form welcoming social groups, increasing the number and range of people volunteering with us
- Engage in national best practice in supporting conservation volunteers
- Supporting our engagement with local communities
- Promote our volunteering opportunities, re-engaging last year’s volunteers and recruiting new members, particularly among groups from diverse backgrounds

We do this by providing grants to charities and other local impact organisations delivering much needed services in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Purbeck and east Dorset. We also manage an estate combining the historic Talbot Village, residential and commercial lettings, woodland, and an urban heath. We have distributed over £10 million in funds through 650 awards across south-east Dorset over the past decade.

About this exciting opportunity
Working as part of a multi-agency team, you will provide person-centred support to a caseload of service users who will either be serving community sentences or being released from prison. You will undertake assessment and action planning with individual service users, create a safe and trusting environment, using trauma-informed practice to successfully facilitate a supportive and constructive relationship with service users, plus deliver a range of interventions to service users which contribute towards achievement of prescribed outcomes.
We will also count on you to develop and maintain positive working relationships with external agencies, including probation, prisons, partners, and others who will assist in achieving prescribed outcomes for service users, ensuring you work towards contractual targets and outcomes within agreed timescales. Using agreed CRM databases and recording all activity relating to caseload and providing updates and reports are also key duties.
What we are looking for
- Experience working with partner agencies either as part of a multi-agency team working towards common objectives or negotiating to establish links to further the aims of a project
- L3 in Advice and Guidance or equivalent (desirable)
- The ability to assess clients’ needs and provide tailored, client-led support through action planning and interventions involving advice, guidance, advocacy, and coaching
- An ability to work sensitively with clients applying trauma-informed strategies
- Impressive IT, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
