About the role

As Retail Gift Aid Executive, you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving all aspects of our Retail Gift Aid processes and compliance. You'll play a vital role in maximising Gift Aid revenue, providing expert support to shops and teams, and ensuring systems, training, and communications are effective and up to date.

This is a role that combines operational delivery with relationship-building and collaboration across departments, ensuring the success of one of our key income streams.

In this role, you will: 

• Take ownership of the Retail Gift Aid system and end-to-end claims process, ensuring full compliance with HMRC guidelines.

• Identify, drive and deliver process improvements to maximise Gift Aid income and operational efficiency.

• Act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing guidance on Gift Aid and representing retail needs.

• Maintain accurate data, generate reports, and support audits – including liaising with HMRC when required.

• Provide training, communications, and support to our retail teams, ensuring understanding and engagement with Gift Aid procedures.

• Visit shops regularly to monitor Gift Aid performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of Retail Gift Aid processes and procedures.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to work.

About the role

CARE International UK is looking for a Programme Officer to provide administrative support within our Programme and Policy Department.

You’ll support the Women Lead in Emergencies (WLiE) team to deliver efficient and responsive technical services for the confederation by managing information and administrative systems for the team, including team travel, contracts and budget administration and logistical support for the WLiE Community of Practice. As this is a global team, in addition to English, you will be comfortable working in one other of the CARE global languages (Arabic, French and/or Spanish).

You will also provide discrete administrative support to the Director and Team Heads of the Programme and Policy Department, including coordination of information on humanitarian emergencies and administration for the Information and Transformation Committee.

Hamelin is seeking a passionate, self-motivated and confident coordinator to support our expanding Ability Works project. In this diverse role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring our individuals meet their goals and create a lasting impact in our communities as well as being the first point of call for new individuals accessing the service.

Ability Works - This initiative focuses on enabling adults with learning disabilities and autistic people to gain meaningful and fulfilling paid employment. The project thrives on outcomes, motivation and a can-do approach.

This role is crucial in making sure we deliver exceptional service, stay compliant, and run our project efficiently— whilst ensuring our mission, vision and values are not compromised. 

The Employment Support Coordinator will regularly meet with participants to listen, offer support and help them identify their best job match, reflecting their skills and aspirations.

In your day-to-day role, you will be striving to build, expand and strengthen the project whilst working closely with the Employment Manager to ensure all key performance indicators and any project targets are met. The role is responsible for onboarding individuals into the project as well as delivering face-to-face mentoring, work experience in and outdoors and coaching.

Project Skills:

• Support with the daily operations of the project scope.
• Supporting individuals through CV production, profiling, interview techniques, attending interviews, workshops, job clubs and managing their health at work.
• Adhere to the strategies to grow and enhance the projects, meeting the ever-changing needs of those we support.
• Identify skills gaps for participants and offer Asdan short courses to support development.
• Building relationships with community partners including DWP, Social Care and prescribers, and other charities and government organisations to gain referrals for the project.

As a Floating Support Worker, you will work with individuals who have experienced homelessness to help them maintain their accommodation and improve their quality of life. Terms and Conditions

Stepping Stones is a small, local charity based in Southwark, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more connected, creative and fulfilling lives. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our weekly sessions running smoothly, supporting facilitators, welcoming learners, managing session admin and planning community events like our summer show and Christmas party. You’ll also take the lead on developing our volunteer programme by recruiting, inducting and supporting the amazing people who give their time to help make Stepping Stones such a special place.

About the Role

This exciting Fundraising and Engagement Officer role will be part of the Fundraising and Engagement team to ensure that the delivery of Mind BLMK’s current and future offer of fundraising and engagement are effectively delivered. As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will be responsible for supporting the growth of income across individual, major donors alongside community and corporate fundraising.

In this role you will be responsible for implementing and administrating fundraising and engagement activities, supporting inspiring campaigns, optimising stewardship and attending fundraising events.

As the Fundraising and Engagement Officer you will work closely with the fundraising and engagement team in the planning and development of fundraising initiatives. We are seeking an experienced BACP accredited Counsellor to join our friendly counselling team at the UK’s leading support charity for people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD). You will provide professional psychological support to adults through a series of regular counselling sessions to help bring about effective change and improve client wellbeing.

Based remotely, or working in our office in Alton Hampshire, you will deliver sessions by telephone or online, working with clients facing challenging issues. We'll provide training to develop your knowledge of the impact of kidney disease as well as CPD opportunities, regular internal case reviews and shared learning sessions

Our adult adoption support service works primarily with adopted adults and birth families. Adopted adults can access their records and receive an intermediary service and be supported through a reunion. Your skills

We are looking for a Social Worker or Counsellor, who has experience of working directly with those affected by adoption. You will have experience and knowledge of adoption law and practice and able to liaise with partner agencies to deliver the service in North and West Yorkshire.

You will be a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who is committed to improving the outcomes for adoptive and birth families, adopted adults and relatives. You will also have strong verbal and written communications skills and be able to deliver the service to a high standard.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Education Executive plays an important role in the facilitation and delivery of RLSS UK’s Education Strategy and will be a key contributor towards our organisation’s goal to ensure everyone can Enjoy Water Safely, Free From Drowning. The role supports the Education Manager with the implementation of educational initiatives throughout the whole of the UK and Ireland and works with both external partners and colleagues within RLSS UK to communicate our vital water safety messages to young people in an accessible, engaging and inclusive way. RLSS UK are leading experts in water safety and this role aims to grow both the number of children that receive our life-saving education but also looks to diversify the audience through adaptable resources and new approaches.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Education Manager and colleagues throughout the organisation to deliver the RLSS UK ‘Education Strategy’, ensuring that that more young people have access to quality water safety education
• Facilitate education pilots and new interventions that are informed by the ‘Education Strategy’
• Administer future developments of RLSS UK’s education packages, ensuring that they are impactful and inclusive
• Work closely with the Volunteering Team to extend the capability of the community to deliver water safety education, providing volunteers, partners, and members with the relevant information and resources, thus standardising the delivery of our education programme
• Communicate regularly with schools, colleges and other educational institutions, encouraging the growth and stewardship of our education workforce, so that RLSS UK is more visible in schools and youth settings across the UK and Ireland
• Deputise for the Education Manager and occasionally represent RLSS UK at wider forums and groups as someone knowledgeable about water safety education
• Work with RLSS UK internal teams to ensure educational resources are up to date, accessible and attractive to a variety of different audiences
• Under direction from the Education Manager, work on new projects and initiatives which particularly seek to make water safety education accessible to ‘harder to reach communities’
• Maintain relationships with external agencies and individuals delivering similar work in the education space to network and elicit best practices
• Support the Education Manager with developing partnership work, empowering and enabling other organisations to deliver RLSS UK water safety education on our behalf

What is the role?

As the Schools & Community Fundraiser, you will be working as part of the Fundraising Team to meet organisational income targets. You will have responsibility for the co-ordination, organisation, and evaluation of existing schools fundraising events within agreed levels of income & expenditure.

You will be expected to foster and grow our links with educational establishments, the wider community across Lanarkshire and 3rd party supporters. This will involve working with all Lanarkshire Nurseries, Primary & Secondary schools, to raise awareness of the Hospice, fundraising and our role in the community. You will be required to maximise and grow the income generated from all fundraising activities related to schools and community fundraising.

In addition to your own workload, you will support the work of the fundraising department with other fundraising initiatives as directed..

· Proven experience of working to income related targets.

· Experience of liaising with young people in a formal or informal setting.

· As an important part of the Hospice team, you will also deliver Hospice educational presentations to schools & community groups that will range from three or four individuals to classes, full school assemblies or School awards nights, across all age groups

· A proven track record of success when working individually and as part of a team.

· Flexibility as occasional evening and weekend work will be required
