NHM Unlocked is an ambitious programme to secure the future of our irreplaceable collection, accelerate scientific research and innovation, and enhance our public offer. Made possible by a £201 million government investment, Unlocked will build a new collections digitisation and research centre at Thames Valley Science Park (TVSP), relocate 28 million natural history specimens to the new centre, and a further 10 million to new fit-for-purpose stores at the South Kensington site, capturing digital specimen data that will make the collection available for use by researchers around the world. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Lead Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for developing and delivering income from mid-value grant making funders, notably trusts and foundations. This position works closely with service teams to understand project needs and create accurate budgets and impactful funding proposals. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising and Grants Management

• Pipeline Management: Lead on prospecting, developing and managing the mid-value trusts and grants pipeline, focusing on bids around £20,000 - £70,000, including multiyear grants, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities to meet team income targets. Developing the skills and ability to manage higher value and more complex strategic bids.

• Application Writing: Develop and submit compelling, high-quality grant applications and proposals for mid-value funders, working closely with service teams, ensuring accurate budgets and income against Adoption UK’s strategic priorities.

• Stewardship: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of new and existing mid-value funders, providing timely and impactful reports to secure renewed funding, and developing relationships with key external contacts through excellent communication.

• Reporting: Oversee the accurate tracking of all applications, reports, and communications using team tracking methods, and the CRM database, providing regular progress updates to the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager, the Trusts & Grants Officer, and service teams, to align fundraising activities with the organisation’s strategic priorities and annual income targets.

• Undertake other duties and projects as directed by the Senior Trusts & Grants Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications.

Team Management and Development

• Line Management: Provide line management and support to the Trusts & Grants Officer, including regular one-to-ones, appraisals, and professional development.

• Training and Mentoring: Guide the Trusts & Grants Officer on best practices for researching, writing, budgets, and stewarding of small-value grants.

Evolve Counselling is looking for an efficient, qualified and experienced mental health counselling manager, to take charge of our service while the postholder takes maternity leave in January 2026. About the Role

This is a hands-on delivery and coordination role working across the organisation’s two flagship programmes, Inside Job and Choirs Beating Time. You will ensure high quality and consistent delivery across prisons and in the community, supporting people with convictions into employment and purposeful lives.

The role is hybrid, with time split between home working, our Birmingham or London office, and planned visits to prisons and partners. Travel expenses are covered and visits are scheduled in advance. You must hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.

Working closely with the CEO and COO, you will coordinate delivery activity, support Community Consultants, maintain strong relationships with prisons and partners, and use data and insight to help improve outcomes. As Foundation Director, you will shape and drive the next phase of Love Rowing’s development. We’re looking for a Policy Officer who will make a difference to health and social care policy for people with arthritis.  

Within the Chief Executive’s Office, the UK Advocacy and Health Intelligence Department are focused on creating lasting change. We identify creative policy solutions in response to the challenges people with arthritis face. We influence decision-makers through stakeholder engagement, public affairs activity and by campaigning alongside people with arthritis. We have expertise across health and care services, public health, and employment policy. We also work in collaboration to influence medical research and data policy and play an active role in several cross-sector groups.  

About the role
The purpose of this role is to drive policy development across our policy priority areas. The Policy Officer will lead on specific policy projects, commissioning research, developing policy positions, and producing reports and consultation responses.  

This role will cover a broad range of issues across one of our strategic goals – prevention and diagnosis; access to treatment; and living well with arthritis. Our approach considers the needs of people of all ages who have arthritis.               

The Policy Officer will also contribute to the wider work of the team, working closely with colleagues in the Nations Teams, the Research Directorate and the wider charity, including by representing us on cross-sector policy groups, drafting briefings, and participating in events and conferences.  

We’ll give you autonomy, variety and challenge with opportunities to work with inspirational campaigners, attend events in Parliament and meet senior stakeholders in Government. We’re a supportive team who will value your well-being and professional development.

The Role

• Operational Strategy: Work with senior leadership to design and implement scalable operational processes, performance frameworks and best practices for new and existing campaigns.
• Start-Up Growth: Take a hands-on role in launching new regions, recruiting key staff, setting up logistics and embedding Zen’s culture and systems.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Partner with charity clients to align campaign delivery with fundraising goals, providing transparent reporting and performance insights.
