The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Head of Transactional Finance as a pivotal leadership role that oversees payroll, accounts payable, and finance systems. It has a strong relationship to accounts receivable in an adjacent team. It’s a unique opportunity to lead a function through significant change.

You’ll be instrumental in driving automation, improving processes, and ensuring seamless integration between finance systems (UNIT4) and wider business platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics. • Driving automation and process improvement across transactional finance

The Person

You’ll bring:
• A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Demonstrated leadership in finance operations, including payroll and accounts payable
• A track record of managing or supporting finance system implementations and integrations (experience with UNIT4 is essential)
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills

Overall purpose of the role
As part of a multi-faceted and busy fundraising team, the Events Product Development Lead will take a significant role in strategically planning and delivering a portfolio of new fundraising events to raise funds for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charities. This role will support the strategic development and delivery of a portfolio of fundraising events aimed at increasing income and diversifying our funding base. You’ll collaborate with teams from all corners of the partnership to test and scale the best ideas. The focus of this role is our virtual and owned events portfolio. This is a strategically significant growth area for the GST Charities and is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact. Fundraising Innovation is part of the wider strategy across GST Charities. Key Responsibilities

· Innovate and develop new supporter led products in collaboration with the Senior Events Manager and Head of Strategy & Innovation, with a focus on virtual events and owned events, along with any other opportunities within this space.
· Oversee product delivery from planning to evaluation, collaborating with experts internally and externally, attending events, and representing GST Charities positively. 
· Utilise insights, ensuring data-driven decisions and staying informed on trends for continuous improvement.

Work environment
· The post holder should expect to:

Patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) is a fundamental approach in our work at UCLPartners. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with some experience in patient involvement or community engagement to coordinate and support activities to ensure patients, carers and communities are at the forefront of UCLPartners’ work.

Reporting to the Head of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement and closely working with our Patient, Carer and Public Advisory Panel, you will use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support development and delivery of projects that support inclusive and meaningful PPIE.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

PPIE Planning and Coordination:

• Support the delivery and evaluation of the UCLPartners Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) strategy.
• Support the development of new ways of equitably involving patients, carers and the public from across our region in what we do, ensuring we work with communities facing the biggest health challenges.
• Support the delivery of the UCLPartners Patient, Carer and Public Advisory Panel, including organising panel meetings, co-facilitating sessions, and providing guidance and training to current members

Terms and Conditions

The PPIE Officer will report into the Head of Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement and work closely with all our teams and functions. The remuneration for this post is competitive depending on skills and experience with a salary range of £36,010 to £51,500 per annum.

This is a full-time, permanent position although 4 days a week will also be considered. Some evening and weekend working will be required to support involvement activities.

We offer flexible working arrangements and support hybrid working at UCLPartners. All staff will typically spend a minimum of 40% of their working time at the UCLPartners office i.e. for a minimum of 2 days/week if full-time or 40% of your working time for part-time staff. This can be averaged over a 3-month period.

Responsible for achieving ambitious income targets, you will lead the  management, development and growth of key revenue generating activities including concessions, leases, retail, licensing, catering, markets and car parking activity (and excluding events and venue hire). About the role:

This role will take the lead in seeking out new opportunities for growth across our membership, including acquisition and retention and will be responsible for developing and implementing new initiatives to reach ambitious targets, as well as ensuring our existing members receive an excellent level of customer service.
