The WiSER Project (Women’s Safe Engagement and Recovery Project) began in April 2018 and works across 7 London Boroughs. The service aims to improve outcomes across the following key areas of women’s lives: access to support and services, health and safety, economic wellbeing, opportunities to enjoy and achieve.

Job Title: Executive Administrator 

Location: Central Office which is based around a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington Station. Hybrid working available, approximately 2 - 3 days per week in the office including every Tuesday. Additional office, service, and away days would be required for attendance.

About the role

We're looking for an Executive Administrator to join our central office team, reporting to the Director of Finance and Resource. Programme development:   

• Support the design of Money Ready’s programme development cycles.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Casework Team provide specialist casework advice and support to bereaved families and individuals following a contentious death in custody and detention settings or through multi agency failings, requiring an inquest. You will be working alongside an experienced Casework Team, led by two Senior Caseworkers. You will have close contact with the Family Engagement Coordinator and with the Policy and Communications team.

The purpose of the role is to provide specialist advice to bereaved families facing an investigation and inquest process into a state related death; advising on the process immediately following a death, secure legal representation for families through the INQUEST Lawyers Group; liaise with external organisations, including lawyers, coroners and public bodies such as the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman and the Independent Office for Police Conduct, work alongside the Communications Team on media engagement; and identify key cases and issues arising as part of INQUEST’s policy and campaigns work.

The successful candidate will have experience of casework and advice provision, preferably in inquest law and related investigations. They will be expected to identify themes and trends arising from cases and contribute to the organisations strategic work. In addition, they will be required to organise stakeholder meetings and represent INQUEST at external meetings.

About the Role

The position is permanent and part-time. It is for 3 days per week, for the right candidate. The postholder must be available to work one Saturday a month. • Conduct legal research into past cases and documents
• Draft and prepare claims or other legal documents

• Provide employment law briefings to PCS staff about changes in employment legislation
• Advise members and Reps on wrongful termination and unfair dismissal claims, including reviewing dismissal procedures and advocating for members' rights
• Assist members and reps in cases of workplace discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on factors such as age, gender, race, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Contribute to the development of the Unions policy objectives including the PCS planning process
• Provide leadership in delivering the unions Legal and Employment Rights strategy
• Provide support and have direct involvement through the National Management Team (NMT) in the unions bargaining, organising, campaigning, equality, learning and digital agendas
• Manage people and resources in the Legal and Employment Rights Unit
• Provide advice to relevant committees including the preparation and presentation of reports

2.People Management

• Manage work allocation and workflow, future planning and support for officer team/line manager

The Toy Appeal Campaign Assistant plays a vital role in helping to coordinate Family Action’s Christmas Toy Appeal campaign, liaising with companies, groups, our services and partner charities to ensure the timely delivery of over 10,000 toys and gifts to disadvantaged children and young people.

You will gain experience in being involved in a large project and work across multiple teams including fundraising and marketing.     

Main Responsibilities:

1. Acting as a first point of contact for the Toy Appeal, responding to enquires from organisations wishing to take part in the appeal, as well as internal colleagues receiving gifts for service users.   

2. Responding to all enquiries in a timely and professional manner.  

3. Matching gift requests with pledges from donors and preparing information on gift requests.  

4. Maintaining a live list of all requests for gifts from approx. 60 services and projects, and over 100 companies and community groups, updating as matches are made and requests are filled.   

5. Building positive relationships with corporate donors through written and verbal communications, including email, telephone and occasionally meetings/visits where appropriate.   

6. Co-ordinating deliveries of gifts from donors to projects, ensuring needs and requirements of both parties are met.   

7. Accurately creating and maintaining donor and donation records on Family Action’s Salesforce based CRM system.  

8. Assisting the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Fundraising Administrator with donation processing and administration.   

9. Stewarding Toy Appeal fundraisers, encouraging the use of fundraising platforms such as JustGiving, providing fundraising materials and sharing the impact of their fundraising.

10. Researching to find suppliers for gifts that need to be purchased using donated funds.   

11. Supporting the Marketing and Communications team by providing regular information and updates about the appeal.   

12. To ensure you have an understanding (appropriate to your role) of, and comply with Family Action’s procedures for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.

The Head of Member Experience is a high-profile leadership role at the College, responsible for shaping and delivering an innovative and inclusive membership experience for over 25,000 paediatricians and child health professionals globally. You will lead on membership strategy, operations, engagement, and benefits development; ensuring that our members receive real value and meaningful support throughout their careers.

As Head of Member Experience, you will oversee the development and delivery of a compelling member benefits offer, using data, insights and member feedback to enhance satisfaction, retention and income (currently over £7.5 million). Working closely with colleagues across digital, marketing, finance and careers, you will drive improvements in how we serve our members, from onboarding and services to communications and digital infrastructure.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Membership and Engagement, you will also work with senior leaders and committees, leading the reporting and analysis of membership performance, and contributing to College-wide strategic priorities.

You will be responsible for engaging with governance processes around membership, including overseeing changes to membership categories and election of senior member roles, and ensuring that member needs and insights are championed throughout the organisation.

You should bring significant experience of leading membership functions in complex organisations, including expertise in digital service delivery, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.

A background in the healthcare sector, knowledge of governance matters, or a professional membership (e.g. CIM) would be advantageous. A formal project management qualification is also desirable.
