We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to lead the relationships with some of our most prestigious corporate and charity clients, including our largest event series, the Macmillan Mighty Hikes. We’ll be asking you to do this
- With the guidance of a Senior Account Director, lead a portfolio of bespoke sports events for some of the UK’s biggest corporate and charity brands
- Build close relationships with a number of clients simultaneously, earning the trust of stakeholders to develop the accounts towards renewal
- Maintain momentum with both internal and client teams, creating project timelines and weekly meetings (drawing up agendas and managing follow up actions to completion)
- Plan and execute the participant journey, managing the online registration system, inbox traffic, copy writing of email comms and creating event guides
- Support the creation of event branding (from brief to production to delivery)
- Process and transfer participant data to relevant parties ensuring GDPR compliance
- Shaping, presenting and managing budgets for additional activation plans that meet client objectives
- Create live event documents e.g. master schedules, info desk and crew briefing sheets
- On-site event management of the client relationship and front of house registration and info desk areas and crews
- Co-ordinate event debrief meetings and prepare final evaluation reports
Ideally, you’ll have
- 3+ years experience in a similar role (charities, events, mass participation sports)

Business and Administration Coordinator
Coordinate the administrative function of the Southwark Catholic Youth Service, ensuring the smooth planning, and evaluation of youth events, training programmes, pilgrimages, and Mission Team administration. The post-holder acts as the central operational hub for planning, finance, admin, communications and volunteer coordination, ensuring systems and logistics run efficiently and on time so the Director and mission staff can focus on strategy and operational delivery. This is a hands-on coordination role for a natural organiser who makes things work seamlessly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities
1) Strategic Administration & Planning
a) Maintain the master events calendar, ensuring all youth service activities are scheduled, planned and tracked.
b) Maintain simple project boards (e.g., Asana/Trello) with owners, deadlines and status.
c) Support the Director with all aspects of administration and planning, including timelines, progress monitoring, and post-event evaluation.
d) Keep planning documents, checklists, and contact databases accurate and up to date.
e) Take initiative in identifying and implementing improvements to administrative systems, ensuring the Service runs efficiently and professionally.
2) Event & Programme Administration
a) Oversee administrative logistics for all events, including venue bookings, contractor & volunteer scheduling, catering orders, AV requests, travel, accommodation, risk assessments, and consent forms.
b) Prepare briefing packs, participant communications, and evaluation forms.
c) Maintain an event management workflow (including deadlines and task assignments) to ensure all activities run on time and within budget.
3) Pilgrimage Planning (World Youth Day & Lourdes)
a) Lead administrative planning for pilgrimages: itineraries, travel bookings, accommodation, insurance, payments, and safeguarding documentation.
b) Act as the primary contact for pilgrims, managing participant information and correspondence.
c) Organise pre-departure briefings, resource packs, and follow-up processes.
d) Support fundraising and publicity logistics for pilgrimages, ensuring precise and timely communications to participants and parishes.
4) Volunteer Administration
a) Work with other team members to maintain accurate volunteer records.
b) Track and circulate volunteer rotas, ensuring completeness.
c) Manage booking, coordination and administration of the Mission Team.
d) Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of volunteers, ensuring role descriptions, safeguarding checks, and agreements are completed.
5) Communications Liaison
a) Maintain and update the youth service website with event details, news, and resources.
b) Produce and distribute the youth service e-newsletter (via Mailchimp), ensuring mailing lists are accurate and GDPR compliant.
c) Assist with social media to share updates, provide event content, and ensure consistent messaging.
d) Commission printed and digital publicity materials.
6) Safeguarding & Compliance
a) Liaise with the Director of Safeguarding to embed safeguarding procedures in all events and pilgrimages: risk assessments, consent forms, medical records, and emergency contacts.
b) Act as the Safeguarding Representative to manage DBS applications, safeguarding training records, role descriptions, and volunteer agreements.
c) Maintain accurate, digital safeguarding and compliance files and ensure all event leaders are briefed on their responsibilities.
7) Finance & Resource Management
a) Process invoices, expense claims, and participant payments.
b) Monitor budget, reconcile accounts and prepare budget reports for the Director.
c) Reconcile bank and credit card statements with receipts.
d) Order resources, equipment, and printed materials for events and programmes, maintaining a stocklist.
e) Support the Director in financial forecasting and annual budget preparation, ensuring accurate and timely data.
8) General Office Administration
a) Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.
b) Maintain and update digital and paper filing systems.
c) Act as the first point of contact for youth service administrative enquiries, managing the youth service inbox.
d) Keep stock of branded materials, stationery, and event equipment.
e) Ensure the office environment and digital systems are well organised and professional, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
f) Basic facilities liaison (H&S checks, equipment log).

Job Purpose:
The Fundraising Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the organization.
Our annual fundraising target is set at c250k (cash income) plus additional targets for in-kind donations, preloved donations and donated services. These support the growth and sustainability of our operations, ensuring we can continue to provide essential items and services to local people experiencing homelessness.

Auditory Verbal UK (AVUK) is an award-winning charity that wants all deaf children to have the same opportunities in life as their hearing peers. It supports deaf babies and children to learn to listen and speak with Auditory Verbal therapy and provides internationally accredited training in Auditory Verbal practice for health and education professionals. AVUK works to raise expectations and outcomes for deaf children and increase access to, as well as awareness and understanding of, Auditory Verbal therapy, with a clear mission to enable every family with a deaf child the opportunity to access Auditory Verbal therapy through publicly funded services close to where they live.
Overview
Working with the Head of Fundraising, you will play a key role in securing income from corporate partners and major donors to support AVUK’s bold 10-year plan. These partnerships are central to our long-term strategy to transform the landscape of Auditory Verbal provision, ensuring that every family who wants their child to learn to listen and talk can access a publicly funded Auditory Verbal programme in their local area.
This role requires experience in relationship fundraising, ideally working with businesses and/or major donors, and a strong ability to build rapport and trust. You’ll be an effective communicator and collaborator, confident in supporting income generation activities that align and elevate AVUK’s goals.
With experience of securing five to six-figure gifts, you’ll use your commercial acumen to identify and nurture your pipeline and partnerships, contributing to our annual fundraising target of £1.5m and setting the foundations for growth to £2m+ in future years.
This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, diligent, and comfortable taking initiative. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment where relationship-building and ownership of your work are key to driving income and impact. The role is weighted towards developing new corporate partnerships, with responsibility for managing our existing partnership with Markerstudy Group, and some time spent cultivating potential major donor relationships with senior management support. To help you succeed, you have support and guidance from our Head of Fundraising, alongside a passionate and collaborative CEO and Senior Management Team.
Contract Details
Location: Primarily remote, with 2 days a month in our London office, plus meetings with partners where required.
Working Hours: 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE); flexible working fully supported through policies and practice.
Contract Type: Fixed-term, 12 months from January – December 2026
Salary: £45,000-48,000 pa FTE depending on experience, plus benefits including 7% employer contribution to Group Pension Scheme.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate partnerships strategy
- With support and guidance from the Head of Fundraising, lead the development and delivery of AVUK’s corporate partnerships strategy in support of our overall fundraising goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities at a five and six figure value, unlocking new opportunities that contribute to a £130k partnerships budget this year.
Business development & income generation
- Work closely with your fundraising and comms colleagues to create compelling proposals and pitches that resonate with corporate and major donor audiences and help you to secure new gifts / partnerships.
- Proactively grow and maintain a strong funding pipeline, creating new prospects for our priority funding areas through quality research, strategic outreach and developing engagement opportunities.
Relationship management & external engagement
- Manage a small portfolio of corporate partnerships including our flagship partnership with Markerstudy Group, delivering excellent stewardship and ensuring long-term engagement.
- Lead the planning and delivery of the Sounds of Success event (November 2026), as a key moment in our stewardship and engagement calendar.
- Support the Head of Fundraising, CEO, and Fundraising Advisory Board in developing relationships with potential major donors, providing inspiring stewardship and maximising opportunities through networks, events, and strategic engagement.

- Champion the effective use of our Salesforce database to support you in high-quality relationship management and reporting.

About You
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to draft professional documents and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities:
· Assist in the coordination and delivery of public fundraising activities during emergency appeals, including managing content and materials, liaising with member agencies, and supporting with reporting and updates for senior stakeholders.
· Provide high-quality administrative support to the Fundraising and Marketing Director and wider team, including diary management, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and general team logistics.
· Help develop and deliver fundraising materials across direct marketing and digital channels, gather content, and ensure assets are approved and shared with key stakeholders.
· Maintain and update fundraising budgets, process invoices, and support post-appeal reviews with external suppliers and partners.
· Contribute to digital activities by supporting basic analytics, user journey testing, and content creation for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, with opportunities to take part in digital innovation workshops.
