About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insights and Evaluation team at Dementia UK supporting the organisation to build the evidence base for Admiral Nursing through collecting and sharing evidence on the effectiveness of the Admiral Nursing model.
As the Insights and Evaluation Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the team’s systems and folders, ensuring key resources remain organised and up-to-date. Additionally you will act as the main point of contact for enquiries within the team. Actively managing the team’s inbox and coordinating meetings and projects, providing essential administrative support.
You will also be involved in coordinating data collection processes and assisting with the team’s survey function. This will include supporting basic analysis of evaluation data, collating and cleaning survey data and contributing to the production of reports and other key documents.
To succeed in this role, you will need experience in providing administrative support, including managing shared folders and systems. Strong organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise and handle a diverse range of responsibilities independently. You should also possess solid IT skills, including proficiency in common software packages like MS Office, experience of using online survey software and some experience using Excel for basic data analysis. You will also need to have an understanding of information governance issues including awareness of data protection and confidentiality requirements

Your role is to manage a range of Central Services for the Eikon Charity and to be a familiar constant presence in the Eikon offices. Central Services includes IT, Data Compliance, Health and Safety, Facilities. Facilities includes the site at Fullbrook and the associated site maintenance of the cabins and the garden. In addition to this you will line manage the reception function on site. A portion of the role will be managing outsourced providers who are accountable to support the specialist nature of these services. These outsource providers include Health and Safety (Croner) IT (ramsac) Data Protection (Satswana). You will also support the service data management work, this involves monthly reporting and service data provision, in accordance with the reporting calendar.
Responsibilities
IT Management
- Manage the operational IT delivery via Eikon’s IT partner (ramsac)
- Manage the continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure
- Oversee and direct the work and tasks of the data officer (IT support)
- Attend quarterly management meetings with outsourced IT provider including technical IT consultant visits
- Oversee Help Desk approvals
- Review monthly total IT estate in partnership with ramsac and Data Officer
- IT hardware, software and comms:
- Manage the relationship with repair partner (one touch) and disposal partner (CPR)
- Manage the procurement processes for hardware, the installation and allocation of hardware (e.g. printers, AV equipment, laptop, mobile devices, wifi infrastructure etc.) with the support of the Data Officer
- Manage the communications licenses with our comms partner (DRC)
- Oversee the MS license estate and allocation of MS software and our third party applications
- Contribute to planning and assist with the delivery of the IT roadmap
Data Protection and Management
- Manage data compliance in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations (GDPR), with support from the fractional data protection provider, Satswana
- Manage the relationship with Satswana (outsourced Data Protection Officer)
- Ensure Data Protection Impact Assessments are in place across the organisation
- Recording and reporting of routine data breaches, escalating if significant breach has occurred
Data Reporting (Services)
- Support with the provision of data to help monitor and evaluate all services in line with ambitions
- Collaborate with line manage on bespoke data requests
- Support the organisation in ensuring data integrity of reports
- Manage the monthly reporting templates (Mindworks outputs, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Internal outputs and Internal outcomes)

- Ensuring Fire Health and safety procedures in place for the Fullbrook site

Facilities

- This includes line management of your team and dotted line supervision for garden club volunteers for garden maintenance; this includes managing the relationship with the gardening contractor

The Finance Manager is a key member of the wider Finance and Operations team and will lead the finance function of the charity and provide excellent finance support for the Senior Executive.
We are looking for an individual who can:
- Maintain a robust financial control framework and provide high quality timely financial management information to ensure effective decision making.
- Prepare annual financial statements and support an efficient external audit process.
- Lead on the annual budget setting and quarterly forecasting processes.
- Deliver continuous finance process improvement and finance training for SGHC staff.
- Support the maintenance of dynamic and strategically aligned partnerships with finance colleagues across all our key stakeholder groups.

ROLE PURPOSE

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Staff management
1.1. Carry out all line management duties in line with organisational policy and procedure, including:
- Diversity and inclusion - encouraging an inclusive environment.
- Recruiting and inducting good quality staff o Proactively addressing performance, conduct or other employee relations issues.
- Support and coach your direct report to ensure objectives and development goals are achieved.
2. Management of Income and Payments Processing Operations
2.1. Responsible for ensuring that all fundraising and investment income is accurately recorded in the finance system.
2.2. Ensure the reconciliation of all income data from the bank against Raiser’s Edge (CRM system) to ensure data is accurate and complete and then recorded in the finance system once reconciled.
2.3. Manage an efficient and effective Accounts Payable function, ensuring that the work performed by the Senior Finance Assistant is at the required standard.
2.4. Lead on all communications with internal stakeholders, including Trust finance and Special Purpose Fund Advisers, to resolve any issues arising and produce monitoring reports on a regular basis.
3. Transactional accounting and fund management
3.1. Ensure systems are in place to identify and correctly record restricted donations, so that these are properly monitored and utilised.
4. Financial Control Framework
4.1. In consultation with the Director of Finance & Operations, ensure that appropriate controls, processes and procedures are in place, regularly reviewed and assessed for operational effectiveness.
4.2. Review and update Finance Procedures and effectively communicate these to staff, arranging training where necessary, within the Finance Department and across the Charity.
4.3. Ensure effective maintenance of the balance sheet, including regular key control account reconciliations (bank and other).
4.4. Monitoring of balances with the Trust, ensuring these are promptly settled, with discrepancies investigated and resolved.
5. Management Reporting
5.1. Delivery of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for the Charity, including enhancing the production process and communication of timetables.
5.2. Co-ordinate the production of narrative reports to support review by the Director of Finance & Operations.
6. Financial reporting and audit
6.1. Lead the Finance team in the production of financial statements which are fully compliant with the Charity SORP to meet required audit and Board approval deadlines.
6.2. Lead the relationship with external auditors and all arrangements surrounding the annual audit fieldwork.
6.3. Preparing required audit documentation in accordance with agreed timetables.
7. Budgeting and Forecasting
7.1. Assist the Director of Finance & Operations in the production of annual budgets, working closely with budget holders within the Charity to ensure completed in accordance with agreed timescales.
7.2. Lead on the quarterly re-forecast process, producing relevant analyses to understand and monitor key changes.
8. Banking and Investments
8.1. Work alongside the Director of Finance & Operations to maintain a strong relationship with the Charity’s banking and investment managers and take the lead on the day to day administration of the banking arrangements.
8.2. Ensure that bank mandates are up to date.
9. Systems and Data
9.1. Finance system
- Liaise with Application’s Supplier and Trust Systems support team in the maintenance and development of the finance system, ensuring essential maintenance are carried out as necessary to prevent cyber fraud and maintain data integrity.
- Provide support to the Finance team for the accounting functionality within the finance accounting application and its integrated systems.
9.2. System maintenance and training
- Support the Director of Finance and Operations with managing user access, permissions and privileges on the finance system, ensuring that any changes to staff are reflected immediately.
- Ensure all new staff are trained on the Finance System and that current staff receive updates as necessary.

The Advice & Wellbeing Team at KCLSU are looking for an Advice Manager (Outreach & Data) to join us in running our vital Advice service for student's at KCL.
As the Advice Manager (Outreach & Data), it is your role to ensure an effective and efficient Advice service that meets the needs of students and supports the development of the colleagues in Advice. You will do this by developing partnerships across both King’s and KCLSU to ensure more students and staff have a strong understanding of the service. You will also lead on process changes to streamline data collection and impact reporting to ensure our service is constantly improving.
Key responsibilities include;
- Managing the delivery and development of the Advice Service by collaborating closely with the Advice Manager (Training and Development) and the Advice Manager (Triage)
- Collaborating with the Advice management team to review and improve systems and processes to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leading the development of the Advice outreach strategy and delivery ensuring it responds to the needs of underrepresented groups while educating students about the Advice service and relevant procedures and regulations.
- Managing three Student Advisors and support their development and ensure the quality and consistency of advice delivered.
- Leading partnership building across King's and KCLSU to build awareness and collaborative working including leading faculty-specific projects informed by data.

The available role

With responsibility for a small team of three, as Head of Data & Digital Innovation, you will provide strategic leadership across the hospice’s IT infrastructure, information governance, risk management, and data functions.
The successful candidate will:
- A minimum of master’s level education or equivalent demonstrable experience directly relevant to digital innovation and IT infrastructure management.
- Extensive experience leading technical IT teams.
- Demonstrable expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT challenges across hardware, software, and network environments.
- Proven experience managing IT resources, budgets, projects, and vendor relationships.
- In-depth working knowledge of Information Governance, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR), and cyber security principles.
The role is available 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (Friday 4pm finish), on a salary of £55,690 - £62,682 per annum. The role is office based with occasional home working.

The available role (details)
We are looking for a Digital Systems & Data Assistant who will support the development and maintenance of the hospice’s IT and digital infrastructure, alongside robust information governance practices. This role ensures the smooth and reliable operation of systems that underpin high-quality patient care and contribute to overall organisational effectiveness. By combining technical IT support, data management, and information governance administration, the post helps drive the secure, efficient, and innovative use of digital technologies across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have:
- IT-related degree or equivalent experience in IT and digital systems management, demonstrating a strong foundation in managing and supporting digital infrastructure.
- Proven experience in first-line IT support, demonstrating the ability to respond effectively to technical queries, support day-to-day IT operations, and proactively attempt to resolve second-line issues where appropriate before escalation.
- Familiarity with IT system maintenance, troubleshooting, and hardware/software management, including routine maintenance of platforms such as Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with NHS systems and processes, including NHS Care Records Service Cards is desirable.
The role is available 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm (Friday 4pm finish), on a salary of £25,294 - £26,598 per annum. The role is office based with occasional home working.
The role may need to work the occasional evening or weekend when there is a specific business need, but advanced notice of this is usually provided. Time off in lieu is provided.

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance and Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure the College meets its legal and regulatory compliance requirements as an educational establishment and a charity. The focus of the role is to be responsible, with the support of the Training Administration team, for all reporting to regulatory bodies in a timely manner to ensure the College meets the requirements of the Office for Students (OfS), The Open University (OU), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and other regulatory bodies. The postholder will also take on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO) within the organisation and ensure that the college processes all personal data in compliance with UK data protection legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for reporting internal information and meeting the reporting requirements of regulatory organisations – primarily the Office for Students (OfS), Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), the Open University (OU), the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA) and the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). This will be with the support of the Training Administration team and all other teams within the college.
- Collaborate with senior management and other department heads to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance relating to HR, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Prevent, Communications and Finance.
- Serve as the point of contact for regulatory bodies and external auditors
- Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies and senior management as needed and within required deadlines

The Role
You will hold Strategic oversight over IPS Grow data analysis and business intelligence functions and, in collaboration with expert Digi colleagues, IPS Grow digital tools.
Key responsibilities include:

- Work closely with colleagues delivering the IPS Grow data tool to understand stakeholder data requirements and collaboratively review prioritisation in relation to the roadmap for the data tool.

The Team
IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by the organisation in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).
A core element of the programme is the expert assistance provided by a team of IPS professionals, known as IPS Grow Leads, to support providers to improve their fidelity to the IPS model and achieve better employment outcomes for their clients.
About You
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of designing and leading data strategy at a senior level. This encompasses how we collect and manage data, as well as using analysis to produce relevant and actionable insights
- Experience of successfully managing senior stakeholder relationships, including communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Expertise in Information Security and Governance and the associated standards and requirements when hosting and processing personal data on behalf of public sector organisations.
- Senior experience of leading data and analytics teams, including line and task management, and product management

Main duties
Fundraising CRM Project Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end project to replace the current CRM system, including an audit of existing data, research into CRM options, supplier selection and full onboarding and implementation.
- Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system during the review period, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for purpose while supporting the transition process.
- Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.
