Main purpose of post
This is a senior role within the Fundraising team, responsible for driving forward
Weston Park Cancer Charity’s income generation strategy across key fundraising
channels, particularly within community fundraising, donor development, and
community partnerships. Working with the Head of Fundraising and community
fundraising team, you will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious and
creative community fundraising programme.
You will be responsible for managing a small, dedicated team of three, ensuring
high performance, innovation, and supporter-focused approaches that help us
grow our impact across the region.
This role combines strategic planning with hands-on delivery, ensuring that we
meet community income generation plans to achieve and exceed annual targets
currently c. £800k per annum.

Key Responsibilities
Fundraising:
 Lead and deliver an ambitious and creative community fundraising
programme, identifying new opportunities to engage individuals, groups,
schools, faith groups, sports clubs, volunteer fundraisers, and community
organisations.
 Maintain, develop and deliver a calendar of high-impact community
campaigns such as Time for Tea, that inspire participation, raise awareness of
the charity’s work, and generate sustainable income.
 Use insights and audience data to create tailored supporter journeys that
build long-term relationships, encourage repeat fundraising, and deepen
engagement.
 Harness audience data and insight to expand our fundraising reach,
increasing income in underserved areas of the region.
 Represent the charity at community events, delivering public talks,
stewarding key supporters, and raising awareness of WPCC’s work across
our region.
 Oversee the delivery of income and engagement targets, measuring impact,
evaluating outcomes, and embedding continuous improvement across all
community fundraising activity

Monitoring & Reporting
 Manage community fundraising income and expenditure budgets, ensuring
strong ROI and cost-effectiveness.
 Produce regular reports for senior leadership on performance, trends, and
forecasts.
 Ensure data is accurately recorded, monitored, and used to inform decisionmaking.

Team Management and Development
 Line manage and inspire team members.

 Provide support and guidance to the wider community and fundraising
team where appropriate.
 Set clear objectives, monitor performance and provide coaching and
development support.
 Foster a collaborative, motivated and high performing team culture.

Operational Delivery and Collaboration
 Ensure all community fundraising activities comply with legal, regulatory
and ethical standards (including Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice,
GDPR and charity law).
 Maintain high-quality supporter stewardship, using tools such as Raiser’s
Edge to monitor activity, analyse trends and report on outcomes.
 Take all reasonable steps to manage and promote a safe and healthy
working environment
 Work closely with the Cancer Support, Marketing, finance and Volunteer
teams to ensure joined-up messaging, delivery, and supporter experience.

Job Description

• To recruit, manage, motivate, coach and develop a staff team including carrying out annual appraisals and regular supervision meetings.  To manage their health, safety and wellbeing.
• To promote and embed Catch22’s vision and values in local service delivery
• To ensure all service user information, interventions and other data as required by the contract are recorded on the relevant data management system in line with Catch22’s policy. 
• Weekly review of service data to identify any risks to service delivery, and outcome performance and put in place corrective actions.
• To be the designated safeguarding lead in the service, ensure that all safeguarding processes are followed and to be Catch22’s representative on local safeguarding boards where appropriate.
• To manage operational risk, health and safety, governance and safeguarding issues in line with Catch22 and Commissioner policies.
• Carry out regular case file audits as per the Audit Policy and Procedure and implement any service improvement or process change as a result of audit outcomes.
• To monitor referrals to the service ensuring they are in line with the volumes and eligibility criteria for the service; manage engagement with key stakeholders to promote the service and generate appropriate referrals to ensure the service / funding reaches the most appropriate young people.

The role of Database Administrator is to provide the lead on the handling and management of all internal data for the Charity, the development and use of the Charity’s internal database Beacon and to provide administrative support to the Charity, ensuring that all records are maintained and updated in a timely fashion.  Other data administrative support as required. 

Specifics of Role

· Reports to the Head of Finance.

· Works closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), caseworking team and the Office Administrator.

· To lead on the continued development of Beacon, the Charity’s internal database:

o Ensure data remains consistent across the database.

o Test and set up new applications/fields, customise existing applications/fields and make them fit for purpose

o Facilitate data capture, data flow and data outputs.

o Consider both back-end organisation of data and front-end accessibility for end-users

· To lead on training for staff in the operation of Beacon including database user documentation, data standards and procedures.

· Ensure confidential handling of all information concerning beneficiaries in accordance with the Naval Children’s Charity’s confidentiality and data protection policies.

· With the Office Administrator, to be responsible for all data input into the Charity’s internal database.

· With the Office Administrator to be responsible for all data download and inputs into Mosaic and downloads from Lightning Reach.

· To ensure that all data input is accurate and completed in a timely manner, adhering to monthly and quarterly deadlines.

About the Role

As Advice Manager, you’ll take a strategic lead on developing our advice service to ensure it is accessible and high-quality, and also actively challenge the root causes of inequality. The Advice Manager will have wide ranging responsibilities for the performance, quality assurance and development of internal advice services and will be responsible for achieving and evidencing high quality positive outcomes for service users.

You will Manage our advice teams: Information Navigation, Benefits Advice, Money Advice and our benefits advice contract with South West London and St Georges. We also administer a number of grants on behalf of local grant giving charities and the local authority and you will manage the administration of these grant funds.

We are seeking a diligent and faithful Finance Reporting Manager to join our team in stewarding the financial resources of the organisation. This role plays a key part in supporting the Head of Finance in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and wise resource management in line with our Christian values and mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full support to the Head of Finance, especially in the preparation of year-end annual statutory accounts for the College and Trading Company including the audit.
• Assist in producing monthly management accounts for the College and Trading Company.
• Support the preparation of the annual financial data return as required by the Office for Students.
• Supervise the management of cash flow to ensure financial sustainability and accountability.
• Assist with statutory and regulatory compliance, including Charity Commission annual returns, Corporation Tax, and ONS returns.

• Produce detailed product-level profit and loss statements for all courses.
• Prepare financial reports for specific projects and funds, including fund accounting and pricing of courses.

• Regularly review budgets against actuals and update forecasts in collaboration with budget holders.
• Reconcile service contracts such as catering to ensure appropriate use of funds.

This role ensures timely, and client-centred access to help, and plays a pivotal part in maintaining service quality, client flow, and clinician capacity.

In this role, you’ll oversee our WordPress website and digital platforms, managing content publishing, technical SEO, and analytics to ensure a seamless user experience. You’ll also be responsible for issue tracking, testing, and collaborating with external partners and contractors to support projects.

You will lead a team of ten to deliver the vision for our Philanthropy Fund within Stewardship’s corporate strategy, lead and grow our Donor Advisory Board service, cultivate deep client relationships and expand our reach across philanthropy networks.  Driving income growth, providing data-led insights as well as representing Stewardship at key events. 

You'll need to be an empathetic leader, able to work strategically and collaboratively across teams.  A strong communicator with a passion for innovation and client relationships who is motivated by seeing lives transformed through Christian generosity. 

This is a 12 month, maternity cover role.

An understanding of the faith aspects of the work of Christian charities, including the preparedness to pray with colleagues, where appropriate.

You will have the overall responsibility for delivering timely data analysis insight of the ASF financial performance against prior years and budget/reforecasts, providing recommendations to facilitate improvements. Working closely and collaboratively with the financial accountant and the wider finance team.

This is a hands on role and some of your key responsibilities will be:

· Carrying out monthly trends / variance analysis covering the P&L, balance sheets and funds flow.

·       Lead the budget and 3-year planning process working closely with the senior management team.

· Provide a quarterly forecast, reviewing salesforce data with the senior management and finance teams.

· Proactively meet with and support the COO, Head Office and Centre managers to discuss actions following regular salesforce data analysis to maximise sales opportunities whilst reviewing staffing levels and costs.

· Prepare meaningful reports for the senior management meetings and for board/Trustees’ meetings for the CEO. 

· Work with the CEO and management team on scenario planning and cash flow forecasting.

· Assist with financial modelling and due dilligence of new activities and ventures.

Embedded in the work of the Programme Department, the Communications and Marketing Manager is responsible for designing and delivering on communications and marketing plans designed to amplify our brand messages, and raise awareness of our mission with partners, and beneficiaries and help us achieve our vision.

This is a hands-on, operational role ideal for someone with significant experience of leading on communications activities, who thrives in a small team and enjoys delivering against long-term plans and managing day-to-day priorities. You’ll lead the delivery of all aspects of communications and marketing - from planning campaigns and managing social media to producing content and supporting fundraising efforts.

As well as working with the Programme Department to support and promote the work of our local partner programmes, the role will also create and maintain mechanisms to ensure all of our staff are informed and engaged with the full scope of our work and impact we enable.

• Financial Management and Bookkeeping

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of all income and expenditure, including reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, petty cash, and restricted funds.
• Process sales invoices, accounts receivable, and income from multiple platforms (Stripe, GoCardless, PayPal, Fundraise Up, etc.).
• Manage accounts payable including invoice approval workflows, payment runs, and supplier records.

• Reporting and Analysis

• Produce and circulate weekly budget holder reports, resolving any variances or queries.
• Support the Director of Finance and Operations with quarterly management accounts, budget monitoring, and preparation for year-end processes and audits.
• Assist with reconciliation of the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and deferred income.

• Gift Aid and Compliance

• Submit Gift Aid claims to HMRC and ensure accurate record-keeping in line with charity policy.
• Maintain and update restricted income records and allocation files, ensuring compliance with donor restrictions.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

• Team Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the main finance contact across departments, supporting budget holders with financial queries.
• Provide finance induction and support to new starters.
• Support the Fundraising and Family Support teams on event finance (cash handling, floats, expense processing, reconciliation).
• Confidently communicate with internal and external stakeholders including budget holders, suppliers, and auditors.

• Champion effective financial controls, help embed a culture of strong financial management, and continuously improve finance systems and processes.
