Salesforce Administator

Role purpose

As an experienced Salesforce Administrator with strong development and project delivery skills, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, improving, and scaling our Salesforce platform to support service delivery, reporting, and insight. You'll work closely with colleagues across teams to optimise systems, support data-driven decision making, and contribute to wider organisational impact.

Main responsibilities and accountabilities

· Own and manage the Salesforce support function, triaging and resolving tickets, analysing issues, and escalating as needed, while keeping users informed via our internal support system.

· Lead the delivery of Salesforce projects and enhancements, including scoping requirements, managing timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful rollouts.

· Collaborate with the Business Analyst to design and build insightful dashboards, custom reports, and data visualisations to support decision-making across programmes and services.

· Configure and maintain all aspects of the Salesforce platform including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, profiles, permission sets, and user management.

· Maintain data integrity by managing imports, exports, de-duplication, and regular audits to ensure clean, consistent, and reliable information across the system.

· Conduct system testing, regression testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for all Salesforce updates and enhancements, including those from seasonal releases.

· Support the creation and integration of FormAssembly forms with automated workflows and ensure secure, accessible data capture processes.

· Develop and maintain up-to-date technical, configuration, and process documentation to support internal knowledge transfer and business continuity.

· Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for users, run workshops, and provide tailored guidance to build confidence and promote effective system use.

· Prepare and deliver data reports for internal and external stakeholders, including quarterly performance reports for funders, local authorities, and programme partners.

Person Specification

Essential skills and experience

· Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with hands-on configuration expertise.

· Demonstrable experience managing Salesforce projects from concept to delivery.

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams.

· Strong understanding of agile project management principles and tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner, Jira, Trello).

· Advanced reporting and dashboard design using native Salesforce tools.

· Experience with Salesforce declarative development (e.g., Flow, Process Builder, validation rules).

· Proven ability to document systems and processes clearly for both technical and end-user audiences.

· Understanding of data protection principles and best practice in data governance.

· Comfortable with change management, user training, and system adoption strategies.

· Experience in working collaboratively with developers, product owners, and analysts.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable skills and experience

· Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.

· Experience with Campaign Manager, FormAssembly, Power BI, or other integration tools (e.g., Zapier, MuleSoft).

Database Administrator

We are looking for a highly competent Database Administrator to join a Governance team.  This is an exciting opportunity to work across the Diocesan team to ensure the database is maintained accurately, efficiently and in a timely manner.

About the Role

As Database Administrator you will be responsible for the upkeep of the diocesan CMS database and act as the diocesan Superuser to provide support, training and advice to other diocesan users.

What you’ll do:  

• Act as the expert user for the CMS database –granting permissions and offering support, training and advice to diocesan users including staff, clergy and parish officers
• Make updates to the CMS database to reflect changes in the diocese to ensure data accuracy, including after Annual Parochial Church meetings (APCM) and Mission and Pastoral scheme amendments
• Generate reports and mailing lists for diocesan users
• Act as an assistant user for the People system and Salesforces system.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience of using database systems

Background

Healthwatch North Northamptonshire is one of more than 150 local Healthwatch formed in response to the Health and Social Care Act 2012.  Healthwatch represents the views and experiences of local people and help communities to exercise greater choice over the services they receive.

Healthwatch North Northamptonshire will champion the health and social care needs of our communities, acting as an independent local voice and ensuring that services meet the needs of our communities and remain high quality.

Our vision is to inspire positive change in North Northamptonshire’s health and social care service through effective community engagement and ensure people and communities have a strong voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided.

We hope to ensure that Healthwatch North Northants has a strong presence, with an effective, proactive and independent local voice.  We act as a ‘critical friend’ to the commissioners and providers of health and social care services to enable progressive and beneficial decisions to be made.

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage all aspects of the Healthwatch North Northamptonshire service in line with statutory duties, service specification, performance requirements and in line with the values and objectives of Support Northamptonshire.

KEY TASKS:

To work closely with the Healthwatch NN Advisory Group and the Support Northamptonshire’s CEO to:

1. Fulfil Healthwatch NN’s statutory purpose, contractual requirements and its strategic and operational plans and objectives.

2. Contribute and challenge at a strategic level, influencing and shaping decisions made by commissioners and providers, in line with the vision and priorities of Healthwatch NN.

3. Implement a project management approach to the design and delivery of all workplan activity and deliver on respective programme areas including:

7. To lead and undertake research and issue led investigations. in priority areas, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on key data, ensuring projects and reports are achieved on time and to a high quality and that recommendations are reported and reviewed.

8. To develop a core team of community volunteers who can support and contribute to the work of Healthwatch NN and support them to be proactive and enthusiastic in fulfilling their roles.

9. To represent and promote Healthwatch NN with the NHS, Local Authority and Third Sector stakeholders and

10.  Deliver presentations and progress reports at key statutory bodies including the Health & Well Being Board, Health & Care Partnership and Overview and Scrutiny Committee as required.

11.  Act as the central point of contact for key stakeholders, commissioners, and service providers and sit on issue led boards and networks and attend such meetings when deemed it could add value to the work of Healthwatch.

12.  Ensure effective working relationships are in place with neighbouring Healthwatch, and explore opportunities for cross boundary working and joint utilisation of resources. and ensure appropriate protocols are in place for collaborative working. ·

13.  Identify, advance and manage collaborative relationships with key strategic stakeholders and partners to achieve our statutory roles (including voluntary sector, statutory agencies and other local Healthwatch)

14.  Act as ambassador for Healthwatch NN, working with other organisations and bodies as appropriate, taking part in external working groups and events to further the work and reputation of the organisation.

In consultation with the Healthwatch NN Service Manager and Support Northamptonshire CEO:

· Represent Healthwatch NN at strategic meetings, conferences and public engagement events as required, acting as a spokesperson for Healthwatch NN at such events.

Salary: Starting salary £31,350
Hours: Full-time, 32 hours per week (as part of our 32-hour week pilot and may revert to 35 hours after July 2025)

About the role

At the Motability Foundation we fund, support, research and innovate so that all disabled people can make the journeys they choose. We oversee the Motability Scheme and provide grants to help people use it, providing access to transport to hundreds of thousands of people a year. We award grants to other charities and organisations who provide different types of transport, or work towards making transport accessible. We also carry out ongoing research, in partnership with disabled people and key stakeholders in the industry, to inspire innovations that continue to champion accessible transport for all.

This role is an exciting new opportunity to shape and deliver on Motability Foundation’s aims to become more insights led and to systematically involve disabled people in our decision making. You will support the Head of Insight and Evaluation in providing the organisation with insight drawn from existing research, primary research, business data and through user insight. The role will lead development of a user insight approach and clear mechanisms to involve disabled people in the Foundation’s decisions systematically. The role will establish a user insight research community (akin to a customer panel but broader in scope), which the organisation can draw from for user insight.

The role is also responsible for delivering a strategic research and insight plan for the organisation to inform operational and strategic decisions, including feeding into our strategy mid-term review. Others in the organisations will also carry out research and hence this function has a role in setting standards for quality research, a coordinating role in ensuring a cross-organisational understanding of ongoing research to avoid duplication, and to draw insights and disseminate these to relevant internal and external audiences.

What you’ll be doing

• Support the head of team by developing a strategic insight research plan.
• Lead the delivery of the insight research plan, including developing clear research briefs, working with external suppliers to deliver research and where appropriate deliver research in-house.
• Establish a user insight capability in line with good practice and mature this capability over time.
• In collaboration with key internal customers, establish a framework for when and how to engage with disabled people regarding decisions.
• Develop and set standards for good quality research and insight for the organisation, including ensuring disabled people can fully and equitably participate in research/user insight exercises.
• Ensure that planned research and insight generation by the insight function is completed to a high standard, aligned with good practice.
• Set up and lead a cross-organisational research forum and ensure this mechanism is effective in avoiding duplication and creating alignment.
• Lead development and implementation of a communications plan to ensure insight generated reaches the right internal and external audiences.
• Ensure a framework to monitor and evaluate the usefulness and impact of insight generated is in place.
• Ensure all research carried out by the function meets GDPR requirements.
• Line-manage and develop your line-report(s).
• Be ‘hands on’ as necessary, by leading and delivering research personally.

The insight capability is a new function in the organisation and as a result this role will lead on its development over time. This presents great opportunities and will require an individual who is comfortable with starting things anew, while delivering on insight requirements and shaping the function along the way.

Your experience

Must haves:

• Experience of delivering user insight and/or running customer/consumer panels and/or working with supporter panels.
• Ability to design and develop research programmes and have highly developed analytical skills.
• Highly developed ability to work collaboratively with other teams across the organisation.
• Exceptional written and oral influencing skills, including the judicious use of data and the compelling presentation of insights, through engaging reports, infographics, and dashboards.
• Relevant qualification in an analytical discipline such as social sciences, economics or evidence of significant relevant professional experience.
• Experience managing research projects or commissioning external consultants.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Line and/or team management experience.

We feel that experience of setting up and/or managing consumer, customer or supporter panels is relevant. However, please note that as a Foundation we do not fundraise and as such are not looking to develop a supporter panel.

Nice to haves

• Experience of disability inclusive research – this is essential to the role. However, we will ensure appropriate training for those who do not have these skills.
• Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data analysis tools (e.g., MAXQDA, R) and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Power BI).
• Proven quantitative and qualitative research skills and familiarity with working with large datasets.

Reporting lines and relationships

Reports to: Head of Insight and Evaluation.

Key relationships: Heads and programme managers in Charitable Operations, Head of Communications team and relevant managers, Policy team colleagues and over time other teams across the organisation looking for (user) insight. Relationships with external agencies and suppliers.

Direct reports: Initially 1 direct report in the form of a Research Manager with plans for a further junior role to be added to the team in future years.

Extra Information

• The role is based In Harlow, Essex at Motability’s offices, easily commutable from London, 30 minutes from Liverpool Street station or 18 minutes from Tottenham Hale station. We offer a shuttle bus from the Harlow Town train station to the office.
• We offer flexible and blended working within this role. The Insight and Evaluation team ordinarily works a minimum of two days a week from the office.

What you will be doing:

•  Provide excellent customer service to members, ensuring they are aware of and can access their full range of membership benefits.
•  Act as first line of response for enquiries to the membership team, including monitoring the enquiries inbox.
• Manage applications for individual and corporate membership, including working with the Admissions Committee to approve new applications and ensure the journey from application to member runs smoothly.
• Maintain the CRM database of members and organisations, ensuring the data held is as accurate.
• Create and share reports from member data for various internal stakeholders including the Membership Manager, Operations Manager, Association Council and the EDI working group.
• Troubleshoot system issues that may arise (notably in relation to members’ data, access, payments etc), working with the Membership Manager and our systems technical support.
• Support the Membership Manager in delivering plans and projects to  recruit and retain members.

About the opportunity

As an Impact Analyst, you will work within a team across multiple social impact projects. An example of one of the programmes you will become a key part of delivering is the Single Homelessness Prevention Service (SHPS) which is a programme that prevents the next generation of rough sleepers.

The programme supports people to sustain an existing tenancy by negotiating with landlords/ family members, or providing coaching to empower people to do so. Where needed, we help them to find and secure a new home, typically in the private rented sector. SHPS services also seek to prevent the mental trauma associated with homelessness by preventing the escalation of the homelessness journey to crisis point.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include.

· Overseeing all data related aspects of the programme including data collection, extraction, cleaning, analysis, reporting, and presentation.

· Manage all Power BI reporting tables and system with support from central teams.  

· Gathering and analysing quantitative and qualitative data to measure the impact of service innovations for the programmes you are working across. Produce regular reports and insights that aid decision making to continuously improve programme design.

· Taking initiative to propose and implement relevant analyses to the project to maximise positive impact for participants with the programmes you are supporting.

· Building relationships and working at times directly with Delivery Partners (VCSE organisations who are delivering the frontline services for the programme) to ensure they are able to use the data systems accurately and effectively,

· Identifying opportunities for process automation and improving utilisation of management data by colleagues across the programme.

· Work with system developer to manage system changes and improvements.

· Lead the set-up of a new database and associated new contract mobilisation activities.

· Provide research and data to support the development of new interventions. 

· Produce monthly board packs for programmes and provide minutes of meetings.

·  Support bid submissions with development and growth leads.

· Engaging with other analysts across BOP to share learnings from your own project and implement learnings from other projects in your own.
