The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Supporter Engagement Team at Brooke as our Supporter Development Manager. The Supporter Engagement Team focuses on delivering supporter growth and loyalty leading to greater financial stability. The Supporter Engagement and Development Team is responsible for creating digital and offline journeys and products that engage supporters at the right time, and through their preferred mix of channels.
The Supporter Development Manager leads the team in the delivery of our supporter journeys (online and offline) and liaises across the department to ensure integrated journeys based on supporter insight are at the heart of what we do.
We have ambitious targets and objectives and are looking for someone with the drive and experience to match these ambitions.
Criteria
The Supporter Development Manager is critical to delivering our strategy. They are responsible for leading a team of three, ensuring the delivery of campaigns and products that are insight-led, and designed to deepen supporter engagement with Brooke. They work across FundComms and with agencies to develop, innovative and creative supporter journeys that inspire supporters and groups to donate, fundraise or take another action for Brooke. The post holder will be well versed in audience-centred approaches, budget management, techniques for building supporter loyalty, data insight and analysis, and leadership.

About the role
We are seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to play a key role in strengthening MAP’s governance, risk management and compliance frameworks. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Risk and Compliance, you’ll lead the day-to-day implementation of risk assessments, compliance checks, policy oversight, and due diligence processes. This is a cross-functional role working closely with teams in the UK and field offices to ensure regulatory and donor compliance, ethical conduct, and risk awareness across the organisation.
About you
You’ll bring at least five years’ experience in risk, compliance or audit, ideally within the charity or humanitarian sector. You’ll have excellent analytical, communication, and training delivery skills, with a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, donor regulations, and ethical standards. A relevant qualification or certification (e.g. IRM, ICA) is highly desirable. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Management
• Maintain and regularly update the corporate risk register and support country teams in localised risk
identification and tracking.
• Facilitate risk assessment workshops and training for staff on identifying, analysing, and mitigating
operational and strategic risks.
• Monitor and analyse trends in incidents, near misses, and vulnerabilities to inform continuous risk
mitigation efforts.
Regulatory and Donor Compliance
• Conduct internal compliance reviews and targeted spot checks to assess adherence to donor, legal,
and internal policy requirements.
• Monitor compliance with safeguarding, anti-fraud, anti-terrorism, sanctions (e.g. OFSI), and other
critical MAP policies.
• Provide compliance and risk-related input during proposal development, programme design, and
donor reporting cycles.
Due Diligence Oversight
• Lead due diligence assessments for partners, suppliers, and grantees, ensuring alignment with MAP’s
Due Diligence Framework.
• Conduct follow-up reviews and verification checks, and support teams in completing and
documenting appropriate due diligence procedures.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements of MAP’s due diligence tools and processes and deliver
relevant training and guidance to implementing teams.
Policy and Procedure Oversight
• Assist the Deputy Director of Risk and Compliance in drafting, reviewing, and updating MAP’s risk
and compliance-related policies.
• Ensure policies are rolled out effectively, understood, and consistently applied across all
departments and country offices.
Training and Capacity Building
• Deliver awareness and induction training on risk management, compliance, and ethical conduct to all
staff.
• Coordinate regular refresher sessions and support field and HQ teams in building their compliance
and risk management capacity.
Reporting and Advice
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and analysis on the status of compliance, risk trends, and
mitigation progress for senior management.
• Advise staff and managers on compliance-related issues, policy interpretation, ethical dilemmas, and
practical risk mitigation strategies.
• Escalate significant risks or non-compliance concerns to the Deputy Director of Risk and Compliance
in a timely and clear manner.
Person Specification
Qualifications and Experience:
•Professional Qualification: Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline. A compliance or riskrelated certification (e.g. IRM, ICA) is desirable.
•Risk & Compliance Experience: Minimum 5 years in a compliance, risk management or audit role.
Experience working with internal policy enforcement, donor regulations, or NGO legal compliance.

OVERVIEW
The Trusts & Foundations Manager will play a central role in shaping SOHK’s future growth. They will lead on major grant applications, support targeted bids aligned with regional delivery, and manage relationships with existing charitable funders.
Around one-third of SOHK’s £1.5 million income currently comes from grants, with active partnerships including major funders such as the Garfield Weston Foundation and Impetus. Sustaining and growing this income will require proactive research, strategic outreach, and a highly organised, detail-focused approach to both applications and stewardship.
The role works closely with the CEO, who is committed to leveraging their time and networks to support fundraising success. The post-holder will also collaborate with Regional Directors and other fundraising colleagues, while enjoying a high level of autonomy and contributing to the long-term direction of SOHK’s Trusts & Foundations strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and submit high-quality funding proposals, including applications for six-figure and multi-year grants, by meeting appropriate deadlines and tailoring applications so they appeal to different funder priorities
- Manage and develop a strong pipeline of Trust & Foundations funders for future years, including researching and prospecting new leads through active outreach
- Work with the CEO, Regional Directors and overall fundraising team to identify key funding priorities and strategically deploying the capacity available
- Develop and keep the fundraising CRM updated as a central source of trusts and foundations knowledge, clearly identifying funding gaps and adjusting targets
- Strengthen existing funding partnerships through warm stewardship and efficient grant reporting, maximising the charity’s chances of repeat funding

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Demonstrable track record in leading on successful medium and major grant applications, including six-figure and multi-year grants
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, able to present a compelling case for support to a variety of funders
- Comfortable in understanding and presenting financial information and in creating budgets for grant applications
- Experience with CRM/fundraising databases for tracking applications, deadlines, and relationship management

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Support and Governance, the role works alongside the Fundraising Supporter Services and Standards Manager, Retail Operations Manager and Retail Support & Projects Manager. The role will work closely with key stakeholders across Sue Ryder predominantly to focus on fundraising operational compliance and provide leadership and assurance guidance for Retail and other commercial operations that Sue Ryder develop in the future.

You will have
• Expert knowledge of the CAP code, General Data Protection Regulation, Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Code of Fundraising Practice and other charity requirements set by the ICO, the Fundraising Regulator, Gambling Commission’s Licence Conditions and Code of Practice and HMRC Gift Aid Standards.
• Proven experience of creating and reviewing policies and guidance in a fundraising or retail environment.
• Experienced in implementing reporting mechanisms (SLA/KPIs) using multiple data sources and systems and internal and external audit processes and risk management.

Main Objectives
· To oversee the smooth running of the Law Centre
· To ensure we have the right systems in place to support staff to work efficiently.
· To identify opportunities to use tech to support our mission.
· To lead on data, supporting us to tell our clients’ stories and to demonstrate the transformative nature of our work.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Coordination
- Oversee the Law Centre’s IT systems to ensure they are secure, efficient, and meet the organisation's needs.
- Manage and develop the Law Centre's case management system to ensure it supports the effective delivery of services and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with external IT providers to coordinate maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and implement opportunities for digital transformation and improved operational efficiency.
- Complete the annual Cyber Essentials return, ensuring that the organisation maintains the highest level of data security.
- Ensure the Law Centre makes use of the most appropriate and cost effective equipment, systems and software.
- Providing basic training to staff on systems and tools
- Maintain the asset register.
- Maintain the organisation’s IT plan and update it annually
2. Systems
· Lead on our paperless working processes
· Ensure that our Sharepoint site is set up logically and with the correct permissions in place.
· Develop our Sharepoint site in order that it functions as an intranet for sharing information internally.
· Negotiate and manage our contracts with printing providers
· Maintain regular reviews of the systems we’re using, assessing whether they are fit for purpose or not and whether there are alternative products which represent better value for money.
· Manage the organisation’s telephony.
3. Data and Reporting
- Maintain a clear overview of the data collected by the organisation.
- Prepare reports from the case management system and other data collection tools to feed into reports and funding bids.
- Develop new reports to feed into our billing and accountancy as well as various audits.
- Review and analyse the organisation’s data to understand trends and to assist with service development.
- Play an integral role in using data to communicate the impact of the organisation.
4. Data Protection
· Overall responsibility for the data protection obligations of the organisation.
· Keeping abreast of changes and updates to Data Protection legislation.
· Delivering regular training to staff on Data Protection.
5. Finance and Billing
· Support the finance manager and practice manager by ensuring all systems are optimised for efficiency.
· Liaising with our payroll provider, responsible for running monthly payroll accurately, including keeping track of new starters and leavers.
· Support casework staff with training and technical solutions to allow them to bill files efficiently.
· When needed, to work with the finance manager and practice manager to coordinate regular payment runs.
· Attendance at regular meetings of the Finance Sub-Committee.
6. Support to Executive Director
- Member of the senior management team, contributing to strategic planning and organisational development.
- Provide operational insights and recommendations to enhance the Law Centre’s performance and service delivery.
- Coordinate and chair regular meetings of the IT Working Group
- Report regularly to the Trustees on operational issues
7. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety and data protection (GDPR).
- Participate in and ensure the smooth running of the annual Lexcel audit as well as other regular audits.
8. Professional Development
- To attend regular support and supervision and appraisal meetings.
- To keep up-to-date and to meet identified learning and development needs as appropriate.
9. Teamwork and Service Development
- To attend and contribute to staff meetings
- To attend and actively participate in other meetings as required, and to take an active role in the planning and development of the Law Centre.
- To network and liaise with external agencies as agreed.
10. General
- To uphold and promote the Aims and Principles of the Law Centre
- To be available to work outside normal office hours on occasion as required and notified in advance.

Person Specification
Essential
- Excellent IT skills with extensive experience working with Excel and other Microsoft Office products as well as database products.
- A minimum of two years experience in a similar role, or relevant transferrable skills.

About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Legacy professional with a good understanding of charity legacy administration, to assist Macmillan in receiving its rightful entitlements from gifts in supporters' wills in a timely manner, by collaborating with executors and other charities to maximize the value of each gift whilst also aiming to enhance the charity's reputation.
The postholder will manage a caseload of higher value, residuary, specific and trust gifts, ensuring executors, family, and friends have a positive experience with Macmillan as a beneficiary. Responsibilities include accurately recording data, creating valuations per the Charity Commission’s SORP 2019 and Macmillan’s Legacy Income Recognition Policy, and assessing any conditions on gift usage. Communication with executors and co-beneficiaries will occur via letters, emails, and phone calls. Additionally, you will gather stories to promote legacy giving and adhere to all data protection laws.
About you
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Understanding of Charity Legacy Administration and/or Estate Administration within private practice and/or have done electives in Probate as part of a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law.

The Role

- Advise on records aspects of projects and business cases
