The role is for a skilled fundraiser with experience in delivering multi-channel campaigns to drive income and engagement. In this role, you will:

• Lead campaigns across digital (paid social, PPC, email, lead generation), direct mail, and telemarketing.

The Role:

The CEO will be responsible for leading the strategic growth, fundraising, and external engagement of More Than a Roof. This role will focus on developing and communicating the charity’s mission, building strong partnerships, and securing funding to expand our impact across the UK.

The CEO will act as the external face of More Than a Roof, engaging supporters, funders, and strategic stakeholders to raise awareness and increase income. While the charity exists to support individuals & families experiencing homelessness, delivery of frontline services and direct engagement with residents is undertaken by our partner organisations, such as The Housing Network. The CEO will ensure that the voice and experience of those we support shapes our fundraising narrative, advocacy, and programme design, without duplicating the operational role of our delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside colleagues at The Housing Network to support individuals and families (including individuals over 18’s, families, and prison leavers) as they move into temporary accommodation.
• Facilitate connections for beneficiaries within the local community in Leicester, helping them build support networks.
• Signpost beneficiaries to relevant external support agencies and services to address their diverse needs (e.g., health & wellbeing, training & life skills, employment, financial matters).
• Collaborate closely with on-the-ground partners, such as Community Shop in Leicester, to ensure integrated support.

Responsibilities

The employee will provide day-to-day support to the Ambassadors team. In this role, Ambassador Community Coordinator  will:

• Participate in the implementation of a “white glove” strategy aimed at retaining and engaging a broad and sustainable base of VVIP contacts while strengthening their sense of belonging to the Ambassadors community.

About YCF

Young Camden Foundation is a registered charity, established in 2017. YCF is supported by a number of important stakeholders, including the John Lyons’ Charity, corporate partners and Camden Council, and is a proud member of the national Young People’s Foundation Trust. YCF works on behalf of our 170+ Camden members, who serve thousands of children and young people across our borough, working regularly with all local stakeholders, from local MPs to community leaders.

Under our new strategy for 2025-28, A Stronger Camden for Young People, we are clear on our strategic objectives for the next three years. Led by our CEO Daisy Srblin, and Chaired by Martin Pratt CBE, our small but mighty team punches above its weight in our borough, supporting our members and the children and young people they serve across our borough.

Essential and desirable criteria

The essential criteria we are looking for are as follows:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of report writing
• Confidence and experience in handling data, and generating reports from data
• Experience of using Salesforce, Mailchimp / similar CRM effectively
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to successful manage a busy and diverse workload
• Experience generating and leading on social media / website content
• A commitment to the core values of YCF’s work: collaboration, community, equality and sustainability
• A collaborative approach to work
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

It would also be desirable, but not essential, if the candidate has:

• Previous experience working with voluntary and community groups and/or public sector organisations
• Experience working with young people
• Line management experience
• Understanding / professional or lived experience of the lived context of Camden
• Experience planning, facilitating and delivering events
• Experience of design software, such as Canva

We're seeking a Freelance Women Off to Work (WOW) Employment & Training Officer to play a key role in engaging and recruiting local women onto this popular employability programme, and supporting them to access accredited and non-accredited training courses through inclusive outreach, programme support, co-design of training opportunities and workshops.

The role will also involve building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders (education, corporate, community partners) to enhance the programmes delivery and impact whilst also generating opportunities for women to gain both paid and unpaid work experience.

We would love to see an application from you if you have:

• Experience of community engagement and outreach
• Experience of developing sustainable partnerships (particularly with employers, educators and training providers)
• Demonstrable administrative experience
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
• An understanding of the needs of women who are marginalised within the world of work

About the Project

We are delighted to have been awarded funding by the National Lottery to deliver a third phase of our incredibly popular Women Off to Work (WOW) programme. Since 2017, WOW has supported hundreds of local women from predominantly Global Majority communities through holistic training and pathways into work programme.

WoW delivers a blend of life and vocational skills training, promoting general employability and improved wellbeing through work experience placements, internships, job brokerage, practical advice on self-employment and micro-businesses, ESOL classes and more. The programme provides women with opportunities to gain formal and accredited training qualifications and provide support with tailored into-work action plans.

Our vision? A community that feels healthier, happier and able to access the support it needs, when it needs it.

From our central London community hub, we offer a wide range of activities, services and courses to help address the needs of local people in South Westminster across 4 key areas: physical health, mental health, poverty and reducing isolation and loneliness amongst the elderly. Our programming includes exercise and dance classes, training and employment support, arts and social activities, and more.
