About the role

This is a new role where you will the lead and deliver all HR functions, ensuring legal compliance, best practice, and consistency in people management across the organisation. This is a hands-on and strategic role, working closely with the Director of Finances and Resources to support a high-performing, inclusive, and values-aligned culture.

We seek a highly capable Membership and Office Administrator to support the work of the Society’s professional Office based at University College London.

The Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a key senior member of the finance team and will help shape the strategic management and direction of the team. They will support the Director of Finance and Operations, Senior Leadership Team, Trustees and budget holders to understand and interpret IIED’s finances and play a key role in the long term strategic financial planning process.

The key duties of the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis are as follows:

• Lead on strategic financial reporting to provide a clear picture of the organization’s short- and long-term financial position

Main Duties:

Funding Development

· Ability to analyse and synthesise research and data into compelling reports and funding applications;

· Ability to develop full cost recovery budgets and carry out all compliant financial reporting;

· Ability to carry out all grant management reporting accurately and in a timely manner, with knowledge of GDPR-compliant data management;

Further information

Hours: 14 hours per week (through an annualised hours working pattern).

Location: Remote working although the successful candidate will be expected to work from Cumberland Lodge a minimum of one day per month.  Applicants should be aware that Cumberland Lodge is not easily accessible by public transport, so alternative forms of transport (bicycle, car) are helpful.

Annual leave: 33 days including Bank Holidays which will be pro-rata. The charity is closed over the Christmas period which will be deducted from the leave allocation.

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. You will also be responsible for the management of our volunteer team and the exciting projects they undertake.

This part time role (4 days a week) is within a busy small team representing the residents, workers and students of the City of London. Healthwatch City of London are the independent champion for people who use health and social care services. We’re here to make sure that those running services, put people at the heart of care. Our sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services, and to speak out on their behalf. We also work to get services right for the future.

You’ll also be representing our organisation at network meetings across all the various Health and Social Care providers, charity partners and patient groups across North East London.

Role purpose

Working closely with the General Manager and Trustees you will develop and deliver the communications and engagement strategy for the organisation, making sure the patients voice is at the heart of everything we do. You will write monthly newsletters, daily social media posts, organise and manage engagement and information events and produce statutory publications. You will also deliver the volunteer strategy by recruiting and managing a wide-ranging volunteer team and identifying relevant projects which enhance and deliver on Healthwatch City of London objectives.

Women’s Resource Centre is the national umbrella body for the UK women’s sector. We are currently recruiting for a Head of Operations to provide strategic and hands-on management of our operations, HR, governance and finance, ensuring a stable and supportive foundation for our work.

Position Title: Helpline Supervisor
Reports To: Helpline Manager / CEO
Salary: £36,000 per annum, plus pension and employer NI contributions
Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: Permanent, full-time, flexibility required in work hours
Location: Remote / Office-based – some evening/weekend work required

Role Purpose:

The Helpline Supervisor will provide support, guidance and supervise the helpline advisors and in the future helpline volunteers. The role will further provide emotional support and debriefing for the helpline advisors and volunteers during each helpline shift and when appropriate after each reported incident. They will also oversee the quality of service and ensure each report is dealt with appropriately to a high standard and that reports are logged appropriately recording all relevant information, ensuring data is protected and all procedures are followed.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance and emotional support to helpline advisors.
   

• Monitor call logs, case records, and system reports to ensure quality and flag complex or urgent cases.
   

• Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and lead on referrals involving serious risk or protection concerns.
   

• Deliver pre-shift briefings, post-shift debriefs, and facilitate reflective practice sessions.
   

• Coordinate rotas and ensure adequate shift coverage.
   

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of helpline staff (and volunteers when).
   

• Promote staff wellbeing and implement trauma-informed approaches in staff support.
   

• Liaise with external agencies and partners to strengthen referral pathways and collaborative responses.
   

• Lead on service improvement by identifying trends, risks, and areas for development.
   

• Monitor and analyse service data to contribute to internal reviews and funder reporting.
   

• Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality, and safeguarding standards.

• Undergo regular training in trauma-informed approach, safeguarding, anti-Muslim hate and any other relevant topics.
   

Person Specification:

• Supervisory or senior experience in helpline, casework, or support services.
   

• Proven ability to provide emotional and professional support to frontline staff.
   

• Experience in handling safeguarding referrals and risk assessments.
   

• Trauma-informed approach and working knowledge of hate crime, discrimination, and support needs.
   

• Strong understanding of anti-Muslim hatred and Islamophobia.
   

• Excellent understanding of British Muslim communities, their diversity, and everyday practices.
   

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
   

• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
   

• Experience using communication and case management platforms (e.g., RingCentral, Zoho, Microsoft 365) is desirable but not necessary.
   

• Experience in monitoring, evaluation, or impact reporting is desirable.
