The role is a key part of the wider Core Team.

The role will provide support for the Senior Management Team and wider delivery team. Communications

Prepare and maintain an annual comms timeline – including key celebratory or significant events for example mental health week, volunteer day etc ensuring that the Trust is maximising coverage across these key dates in the year;

Maintain the annual events calendar – work with programme leads to ensure events are being covered by comms;

Coordinate, collate and support with the preparation, completion and delivery of the ST newsletter – distribute via Mailchimp and oversee staff hard copy delivery;

Job Requirements
Our work is place-based, and people focused. To be responsive to the community and to be able to support Shoreditch Trust activities, we do not offer remote working contracts. You will need to be flexible, working some evenings and weekends. Hours will be agreed on a mutually beneficial basis in line with planned activities. You will be expected to attend organisational meetings, events and clinical supervision.

Role Description
The COO is the Cathedral’s principal member of staff and has responsibility for the overall operational performance and administration of the organisation, its assets and its people. Appointed by the Chapter and accountable to them through the Dean, the COO works with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement strategy and policy, ensure effective governance and compliance, manage the business functions of the Cathedral and monitor its overall progress and development.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development of the Cathedral’s overall strategy to reflect the Cathedral’s Vision and Values.
- Ensure the effective implementation of the Cathedral’s masterplan and successfully deliver outcomes through the effective performance management of goals and objectives.

Safeguarding

The role of Digital Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of The Children’s Trust’s digital communications. Working closely with the Digital Manager and wider Marketing and Communications team, the postholder will help ensure our website, email marketing and other digital activity are engaging, accessible, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities and brand guidelines.

Context and Background
The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children. Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We share it. It drives our Engagement and Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.
Within the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause.
To continue to deliver our mission we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income.
The Prospect Development Team sits within the Supporter Management Team within Philanthropy & Partnerships department but works across the whole of Engagement & Fundraising. Primarily, the team supports the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships fundraising teams in their prospecting and fundraising strategies. The team’s role is to help colleagues understand their supporters at an individual level, but also to bring to the forefront the key trends and milestones in their journeys within the NSPCC. To deliver this, the Prospect Development Team offers prospect research, management and identification services. The team works with departments within the directorate on projects and initiatives which have the potential to further leverage major giving and corporate income.
The team also has a role to play in sharing insight and knowledge on the latest trends in philanthropy and corporate giving with the rest of the directorate, and in ensuring that our fundraising and research practices are compliant with sectoral regulations.

MAIN DUTIES
1. Fundraising CRM Project Leadership

Manage and maintain the current Salesforce system, ensuring it remains functional, accurate, and fit for the purposes of stewarding donors and maintaining accurate records of donations

Act as the day-to-day lead for the CRM system within the Fundraising and Communications team, ensuring it meets team needs and supports strategic goals.

The Volunteer Experience & Engagement Officer plays a key role in ensuring that volunteers have a positive, meaningful, and impactful experience with the charity. This role is responsible for recruiting, supporting, engaging, and retaining volunteers, while fostering a strong sense of community and alignment with the organisation’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteer Recruitment and Onboarding
- Develop and deliver effective volunteer recruitment strategies
- Manage volunteer applications, interviews, and selection processes
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions, and training sessions
- Ensure all volunteers are safely and appropriately onboarded (including checks where required)
Volunteer Experience and Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for volunteers, providing ongoing support

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our operations team, someone with a strong financial background with excellent attention to detail, a flexible attitude, an ability to work effectively under their own initiative and as part of a small team, together with excellent organisation and administrative skills.
Effective financial control is central to our strategy and operating model. The finance officer plays an essential role in maintaining control over our finances and operations. You will process and monitor financial transactions, liaise with our payroll bureau regarding staff payroll and pensions and support the Head of finance. You will be experienced in using Dynamics 365 Business Central as an accounting system.
This is a part-time role for two days a week (0.4FTE), with flexibility about when the hours are worked. It's a hybrid role, working from home and from our office. You will report to our Head of finance. You will also work with all staff on financial matters including personal and credit card expenses, central and project income and expenditure, and processing of payroll by liaising with our external bureau.

We are deeply concerned about the impact this crisis is having on the young people that we work with across the board.
The UK youth unemployment rate for 16-24-year-olds sits at a concerning 16.2%, an 11-year high. There are over 1 million young people not in education, employment or training (NEET). We know that high numbers of vacancies do not translate into opportunities for all young people, especially those from BAME background who already face discrimination in the labour market.
We are responding to this emerging issue, by working harder and smarter to support young people that we work with for whom the transition from formal education into employment is not automatic. Job purpose: Provide a range of administration services to enable the Trust to operate its day-to-day activities, management and governance processes effectively.
Roles and responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the job are:
· Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager, Trustees and Youth Board
· Provide general administrative support across the Trust, including scheduling meetings, administering our Microsoft 365 system, helping to produce reports/ letters, managing emails, facilitating in-house communication, managing our records, research, and other general duties
· Assist implementation of the Trust’s charitable programmes e.g., by providing administration support to project teams and organising promotional activities.
· Manage enquiries to the Trust and respond to routine enquiries, ensuring that actions are followed up
· Proactively manage our website day-to-day and post to our social media, consulting where necessary. Produce leaflets, publicity and newsletters
· Support our organisation development plans by helping us research and implement any new policies, processes and best practice procedures required, and maintaining the database of evidence
· Suggest administrative improvements to support the smooth running of the charity and, when agreed, implement them
Key working relationships: The post holder will work with all the Trustees (but particularly the Trustee responsible for Communications), the Programmes Manager as well as the Trust’s finance service provider. The post holder will develop good working relationships with other stakeholders including our project delivery partners, members of the Youth Board and, in some cases, young people on or applying for our programmes.
