Role Overview:
Our Sport and Inclusion Tutor will lead, deliver and develop our intervention programmes, focusing on mentoring young people accessing our Tackle LIFE and Be You programmes. They will bring a wealth of teaching or youth work to our charity and use this experience to support some of the county’s most vulnerable young people. A normal week would include tutoring, sports delivery, and activities such as rock climbing and canoeing. It will also involve project management, as well as classroom coaching such as leadership and communication activities and working with the wider Foundation team to grow our reach in the local community.
The Person:

Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and design of our education and intervention programmes Tackle LIFE and Be You,
focusing on personal development, as well as physical and mental wellbeing.
- Create and deliver a range of high quality and engaging sports sessions and workshops for all ages, both classroom and practical activities, following structured curriculum appropriate content written by Blues Foundation.
- Have a strong understanding and experience with young people on a range of levels. Delivery will engage young people with some behavioral and/or emotional challenges, as well as some special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Project manage elements of our programmes, planning and preparing for each session, including liaising and negotiating with internal and external partners.
- Provide CPD to team members, supporting their understanding of delivery to a range of audiences.
- Practice high standards of health and safety and safeguarding, and understand the protocols and procedures needed to provide a safe and inclusive session.
- Proactively seek opportunities to grow their area of work and drive income into the charity through services.
- Responsible for data collection and report in all projects associated to their delivery programmes, including weekly report writing to schools.
- Work with our Education Manager and lead Blues Foundation holiday camps, providing high quality
coaching and provision.
- Promote Blues Foundation at local events and play a key role within our fundraising initiatives, providing valuable support during events and campaigns to drive donations to our charity, this includes matchday activities where appropriate.

Essential skills and experience:
- Experience in mentoring young people with a range of needs and managing complex behaviour issues.
- Experience of delivering inclusive sporting activities to children with a range of disabilities ranging from mild to complex.
- Experience of delivering sport in Primary, Middle and Secondary School environments.
- Experience in delivering a wide variety of high-quality classroom and practical based activities, as well as flexibility to adapt to the needs and challenges presented by the variety of young people.
- Experience and ability to communicate professionally across different levels including young people, school and college professionals, funders, and other key partners.
- Ability to deliver to a high standard and to the values of Blues Foundation, as well as an ability to contribute to wider work and impact of Blues Foundation.
- Ability to work and deliver in a team environment, as well as individually. The successful candidate should be motivated, demonstrate a positive attitude towards the work of the Foundation.
- Understanding and/or experience in the education sector, secondary experience is desirable.

Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent level qualification desirable but not essential.

Summary and key purpose
This new role will be primarily responsible for developing, marketing and managing our individual giving together with working across other fundraising disciplines. You will be a key member of our fundraising team, producing compelling fundraising communications, stewarding individual donors, including regular donors and gifts in memory. You will ensure that our donors receive excellent care.
Our Individual Giving programme will incorporate one-off donations, regular giving, digital fundraising, appeals and in-memory giving. You will do this, with the support of our recently appointed fundraising agency, who you will manage our relationship with week by week.
A critical element of the role will be how we market ourselves to potential new donors, taking them on an emotional engagement journey in order to solicit regular gifts.
Your expertise and skills:
To excel in this role, you will need prior experience of working in a fundraising setting, with an understanding of good stewardship practices. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, working across teams and meeting multiple deadlines. Your excellent relationship management skills will enable you to effectively communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders and gather information on new projects. You must have a thorough understanding of individual giving, developing donor journeys and experience of work with agencies.
Key responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the regular giving programme, project managing appeals and overseeing the thanking process for individual donors.

The project:

This role plays a critical part in coordinating the group offering for women accessing our services, as well as providing administration support across the region.
In short you will:
- Be the first point of contact for clients coming to the Women’s Centre; offering a warm welcome and trauma informed approach
- Ensure the client waiting area is kept tidy with up-to-date information/leaflets and supplies of refreshments
- Facilitate direct group delivery and events at the Women’s Centre and regional venues
- Hold responsibility for the Minerva telephone number and email account in your region
- Assist in researching additional resources and events for service users; both within the Centre and across the region
- Contribute to creating and lead on updating the local Services Directory with details of local organisations, key contacts and details of services on offer, including eligibility criteria

Recovery Support Team Leader Location: London Salary: £30,082 per annum, plus benefits Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Team Leader. The Recovery Support service is available to current or former Forward Trust clients who are on a substance misuse recovery pathway, making good progress within the Forward Trust towards their personal goals, and coming to the end of their current treatment pathway. While Recovery Support is not exclusively for clients who are abstinent, clients will need to be in control of their drink and/ or drug use, and not be chaotic in their using i.e. heavy drinking, antisocial behaviour, daily/binge using of either drugs or alcohol (especially main substance/s of choice). Forward Connect is a peer-led mutual aid community of like-minded people who are making good progress in their own journey – this could be people in addiction recovery, moving away from crime, overcoming mental health problems, or who are coming out of a period of unemployment or homelessness. Roles Responsibilities The Team Leader will be based within the central Recovery Support team. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. The aim of the role is to have a robust recovery support service integrated into all services, promoting and modelling the organisations values and ethos, supporting service users to further develop their recovery and lives, whilst bringing visible lived experience to all including staff via a range of recovery support interventions. The role is Hybrid. There is no set base but travelling is needed to Islington (London) as will require regular weekly visits to the 3 better lives buildings and occasional cover of weekend shifts in this area. You will also need to travel to units within their geographical areas which does include prisons and community projects. Some travel may be covered by the Forward Trust depending on your base, but ideally you should be based within 20 miles of Islington. Head of Funding and Green Finance - Western Forest
This is a rare, unique and exciting opportunity to take a lead role in developing the programme and setting the strategic path for the Western Forest – the first new national forest in over 30 years.
The Western Forest is a brand-new programme launched, with national and Ministerial profile, in March 2025. The Western Forest will deliver landscape scale change and real green investment, connecting people and nature across three regions – Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and the West of England (including North Somerset).
The Western Forest’s Head of Funding and Green Finance will drive, direct and manage the delivery of a diverse range of funding sources to deliver the new national forest. They will ensure the development of sustainable income streams and models of delivery by 2030. This role will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Western Forest’s fundraising strategy to generate £13mn or more in additional income over the next five years to ensure effective long-term delivery of our strategic plan.
