Harris Hill is delighted to be supporting an international membership organisation working at the intersection of investment and climate change in their search for an HR Manager. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for extension, offered on a hybrid basis in London with two days per week in the office.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the HR Manager will play a central role in delivering high-quality HR support across a dynamic and collaborative organisation. This is a broad generalist position with both operational and strategic exposure, leading day-to-day HR operations while partnering closely with managers and employees on the full employee lifecycle. The role will involve advising on employee relations matters including performance, probation and absence management, overseeing recruitment processes from job description through to onboarding, and ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and new starters. The postholder will also contribute to the development and review of HR policies in line with UK employment legislation, manage learning and development initiatives, oversee benefits administration and maintain HR systems, data and reporting. CIPD Level 5 qualification, or equivalent experience, is expected. The role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working in a small or medium-sized organisation where flexibility, initiative and a hands-on approach are essential. You will bring experience across recruitment, employee relations, HR policy and process development, alongside the ability to design and implement effective HR workflows and systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills will be key, as will the ability to build trusted relationships across teams while handling sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism. Role purpose: To supports people in the local community through the provision of holistic Money, Debt and Budgeting Advice 

Salary Scale:2.1 – 2.4.  £27,495 - £29,400 FTE. P/T hours will be considered

Key work areas and tasks 

Provision of advice and casework 

• Provide money advice and casework covering the full range of debt advice topics including priority and non-priority debt and money advice issues 

• Identify urgent situations and ensure any possible action is taken immediately 

• Assist clients with related issues integral to their debt case such as welfare benefits advice, housing, other financial matters and income maximisation (incorporates applications for grants and other welfare schemes) 

• Work with the client to draw up an agreed financial statement incorporating the Standard Financial Statement 

• Enable clients to identify and explore various options they may have in addressing their situation explaining the consequences and limitations of each option 

• Assist clients in the calculation of offers to priority and non-priority creditors with reference to their Financial Statement.  

• Where appropriate undertake negotiations with clients’ creditors and other relevant bodies and/or act for the client by drafting or writing letters and telephoning and negotiating with third parties as necessary 

• Prepare and present cases to the appropriate statutory bodies and courts as required including DRO, Breathing Space and bankruptcy applications 

• Maintain timely, accurate and detailed case records and adhere to administration systems 

• Maintain statistical information and other required documents and undertake client feedback surveys and facilitate client evaluation 

• Manage an agreed caseload of debt and money advice cases 

• Ensure all work casework conforms to Operational Policy including meeting the requirements of the Advice Quality Standard, FCA and MAPS

Essential criteria 

• Qualified and competent money advice and debt caseworker holding the relevant accredited quality standard and other competencies set down by Advice Quality Standard, Money and Pension Service, FCA and/or Institute of Money Advisers 

• Demonstrable and thorough understanding of the application of the debt process in a busy advice organisation and of doing so in a client- centred and efficient way including through working on a Money Advice Service or MAPS funded programme 

• A positive approach to quality of advice audit (including peer review and external audit) and a commitment to constructive feedback as part of the quality assurance and learning process (as a recipient and 

• as a supervisor) 

• The ability to sift through large amounts of information and gather essential details during a client interview 

• Excellent negotiation skills with experience of conducting negotiations with a range of agencies and creditors

Job Purpose:

This role will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a set of allocated sports, becoming the subject matter expert for those sports within CSSC. Working closely with volunteers, suppliers and partners, the role will ensure that their sports deliver a balance of larger national events and engaging local activities. For some larger scale events, the role will take on responsibility as Events Lead, so experience in event planning and delivery is vital.

The role will oversee event planning, delivery and evaluation, while ensuring compliance with all operational requirements such as health & safety and risk management. The role will play a vital role in supporting CSSC’s sports programme, increasing participation and enhancing member experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Sport Oversight & Development

· Act as the subject matter expert for a set of allocated sports.

· Support the development and delivery of sport specific plans in collaboration with the Sport & Physical Activity Team, volunteers, members and external partners.

· Monitor trends, challenges and opportunities within each sport to inform planning and innovation.

The Role

Having launched our Youth Adventure Programmes in Somerset in 2024, we are now looking for somebody who wants to take the next step in their fundraising career to build on the foundations of the last two years and significantly increase our presence in the county. 

As our Regional Corporate Fundraiser,  you'll be the driving force behind our local business partnerships, working with both large companies operating in the region and smaller local businesses looking to support their communities. 

Your role will encompass:

• Relationship building: Identifying and securing new corporate partnerships while providing high-quality stewardship to our existing Somerset-based supporters.

• Community Engagement: Championing our work in Somerset by giving engaging talks to community groups and networking with local businesses.

• Event delivery: Playing a key role in delivering local fundraising challenge events, the bi-annual Somerset Adventure Dinner and developing new opportunities to unite the Somerset business community behind our mission.

You'll work closely with the Corporate Partnership Manager and the Director of Fundraising and Communications to ensure each proposal is bespoke and every corporate partner understands the impact of their support on local young people.  You must live in Somerset, have a good local awareness and be willing to travel around the county and beyond to nurture long-lasting, strategic relationships.

As well as marketing, this role has responsibility for content, including for our website and social media channels, making sure these are updated with high-quality, accessible, engaging, and well-optimised educational and brand-building materials pitched at a range of target audiences.

This role is about leadership as much as delivery. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a clear organisational communications grid, and for working closely with colleagues across the organisation, particularly the Head of Press & Campaign Communications and the Head of Fundraising, to make sure our messaging, brand, and tone are joined up and effective.

You will be at your best when working to ambitious but achievable KPIs and making strategic decisions on the basis of evidence, including open and clickthrough rates, A/B testing, site behaviour and visit numbers, sales conversions, surveys, and feedback.

Following a recent step-change in investment, there is now a significant opportunity to accelerate growth and position legacy giving more centrally across Greenpeace UK’s fundraising and supporter engagement.

We are now seeking a Head of Legacy Giving to lead this important area. Reporting to the Deputy Fundraising Director, Key Relationships, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Greenpeace UK’s legacy programme, overseeing both marketing and administration to maximise future income from gifts in wills.

You will lead a small specialist team and work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as internationally across the Greenpeace network. The role offers the opportunity to influence both UK and global legacy strategy, contributing to a shared ambition for growth across multiple markets.

As Head of Legacy Giving, you will:

• Develop and deliver Greenpeace UK’s legacy giving strategy, driving growth in both pledged and realised income
• Lead and integrate legacy marketing and administration, ensuring a seamless and high-performing programme
• Manage and develop a team of two – Senior Legacy Marketing Officer, Legacy Case Manager – fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious, strategic and relationship-driven Head of Corporate and Employer Partnerships to lead and deliver a national, high-impact partnerships strategy. Key information

• Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 dependant on experience
• Contract: Full time, Monday-Friday, 9.30 – 5.30mpm with some out of hours work needed for events such as Spear Celebration

Person Specification

Core Purpose
The Wishgranting Supplier Account Manager's role is to oversee and optimise the relationships between Make-A-Wish and our supplier partners, ensuring that suppliers effectively contribute to the organisation’s mission to fulfil impactful wishes. The role encompasses relationship management, supplier stewardship, and technology integration to drive efficiency, transparency, and collaboration. They will play a crucial role in supporting the WG Partnerships Manager in acquiring new Gift-in-Kind partnerships, ultimately reducing the average cash cost per wish and supporting the organisation’s growth objectives.

• Proven experience in supplier, account, or partnership management.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting Gift-in-Kind Efforts

• Work closely with the Wishgranting Partnerships Manager to identify and secure new Gift-in-Kind partners. This involves helping to target potential suppliers that align with the Wishgranting team’s needs, preparing pitch materials, and participating in negotiations.
• Assist in articulating the benefits of Gift-in-Kind contributions to potential partners, demonstrating how such partnerships can help fulfil the organisation’s mission to grant impactful wishes while offering value to the supplier.
• Collaborate on creating tailored proposals that showcase how partnerships can reduce wish costs, strengthen community impact, and support organisational growth.
• Work closely with the Wishgranters to ensure Gift-in-Kind is utilised against wishes, and ensure the correct quality control measures and supporter stewardship journeys are followed to deliver a consistent and sector-leading supporter experience.
• Support the Wishgranting Partnerships Manager to develop the GIK solicitation processes
• Develop and report on a pipeline of GIK supporters, ensuring that retention rates, supporter experience and journeys, including reward and recognition, are aligned with goals.
• Along with the Wishgranting Partnerships Manager, work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure non-wish related Gift In Kind opportunities are maximised, and that cross-organisational future opportunities are identified

Supplier Account Management

• Maintain regular communication with Wishgranting suppliers to ensure alignment with the organisation’s needs, address any issues, and provide updates on mutual goals and expectations.
• Oversee the onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the organisation’s operations and fully understand the mission, values, and expectations.
• Develop and execute stewardship plans that keep suppliers engaged and motivated, show appreciation for their contributions, and foster long-term loyalty.
• Act as a primary point of contact for resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers, ensuring conflicts are handled professionally and in a way that maintains positive relationships.
• Ensure suppliers adhere to all contractual obligations, quality standards, and timelines. Regularly review contracts and processes to ensure they are up-to-date and reflect the Wishgranting team’s needs.
• Work with suppliers to develop efficient and effective Wishgranting processes.
• Create guidelines for the Wishgranting team, including creating Form Assembly forms and Wishgranting email templates.

• Place purchase orders with Wishgranting suppliers, track progress and expedite deliveries.
• Liaise with Wishgranters, suppliers and Wish Families to organise the delivery of items/services, as required.
• Support with post-wish financial administration and processes, including raising invoice requests, chasing outstanding payments, coding as required, and creating thank you letters and receipts.

Tech and Process Optimisation

• Utilise and optimise technology platforms to manage supplier accounts and the GIK inventory, streamline processes, and ensure that all data related to supplier performance, contracts, and contributions is organised and accessible.
• Work with the Wishgranting Team Manager to continuously seek opportunities to automate routine tasks related to supplier management, such as invoicing, stewardship, or managing contracts, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and manage tools that facilitate better communication and collaboration between suppliers and the Wishgranting team, ensuring a seamless flow of information and reducing the likelihood of errors or delays.

Samaritans Training School - or STS for short - is our dedicated central training team who deliver high quality Samaritans training on behalf of branches and hubs. Our busy team delivers training to new and existing volunteers and staff members, throughout the year.​

We’re looking for an experienced Training School Manager to lead our STS function. You’ll oversee high-quality training delivery and facilitation, leading on quality assurance, continuous improvement and the ongoing development of training practice.​

As an experienced leader, you’ll manage and develop our high-performing STS team, striving to ensure excellence in our training provision. You’ll also be responsible for rota management and scheduling of training courses, balancing organisational priorities along with the performance and wellbeing of your team.​

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, including staff and volunteers, through building strong working relationships. You’ll work to understand training and development needs, ensuing joined up learning design and delivery.​

The Role 

This is an exciting opportunity to undertake one of the most crucial roles within the organisation. The Skill Mill Supervisor supports disadvantaged young people 16+ within the Justice System into work: 

• promoting learning and developing skills and pro-social behaviours 

• building relationships and establishing a work ethic  

• developing employability and practical skills  

• supporting the young people to overcome the barriers that can result in them failing to obtain or sustain opportunities that lead to sustainable training and employment. 
   

As the local Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and working alongside a group of young people as they undertake assigned tasks that involve manual work / gaining a trade in addition to liaising with local partners to provide the team with opportunities to develop employment skills. 

The successful candidate will be expected to: 
 

• propose and develop innovative and effective plans to promote the Skill Mill locally,  

• risk assess and risk manage 

• cost and plan small works,  

• identify and source paid and unpaid work opportunities,  

• uphold health and safety requirements  

• and provide progress reports to customers and the Skill Mill management team. 
   

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have experience of direct work with young people who are considered to be at risk. This will include those who are at risk of crime, anti-social behaviour, previously been unemployed and may have had adverse childhood experiences.
You will possess previous experience of direct work with young people as well as experience of site / small scale construction / environmental / horticulture works and health and safety at work regulations. 
 

Key Responsibilities

Managing a team of young people and ensuring that you: 

• Establish positive, supportive, and trustworthy relationships with the young people to understand their needs and aspirations.  

• Provide emotional support, act as a listening ear, offer guidance on life skills, and encourage personal, social, and emotional development.
