The Individual Giving and Legacies Manager role sits within the charity’s Public Fundraising team, which as well as Individual Giving, Legacies and In-Memory Fundraising, includes Events and Community Fundraising.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in Cure Parkinson’s continued ambitious growth. Joining us at an exciting time for the charity, you would be part of a small but dynamic team with the opportunity to develop and make your own mark.
You will lead the growth of our Individual Giving programme, bringing new donors on board across traditional and digital streams. You will be responsible for the retention and reactivation of supporters, maximising their lifetime value; ensuring the best possible supporter experience and delivering annual net income growth in individual giving.
You will also lead our small legacy programme, which has huge ambition for growth; maximising the opportunities available to encourage new and current supporters to leave a gift in their Will. You will be responsible for any legacy administration, working alongside internal and external parties to ensure that all estates are correctly administered, and that we realise the full value of the legacies left to Cure Parkinson’s.
You will be working with supporters to answer their questions about legacy and in-memory giving, and working with the next of kin to ensure that their loved one's legacy is cherished.
We are looking for a creative thinker that has enthusiasm and motivation to lead these areas of work. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being a collaborative team member. You will be supported by the Head of Public Fundraising to achieve transformational results across Individual Giving and Legacies. And ultimately you will be contributing towards changing the future for people living with Parkinson’s across the world.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a University Access Officer to join a fantastic education charity based in London.
Salary: £26,400
Job Location: 3 days based at a School in Greenwich, 2 days working from home.
The charity’s mission is to support students from disadvantaged backgrounds to access top universities, through a unique combination of tuition and in-school mentoring. The University Access Officer mentors GCSE students, delivering group workshops, mentoring and coaching them on how to access and transition to university.
This is an exciting opportunity to foster mentoring relationships with students who will likely be encountering such support for the first time. This allows for early intervention, guiding the students to make decisions which will lead to successful and fulfilling choices at a top third university. The University Access Officer is in a position to open up a world of opportunities to the students which is extremely rewarding.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with students in school and enrolling them onto the programme
- Matching students with volunteer tutors
- Monitoring student attendance to tutorials and devising innovative solutions to encourage attendance
- Assessing student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
- Uploading information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
- Building and managing relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
- Working with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
- Chairing and presenting at termly school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
- Supporting the delivery of tutor training and attend university site visits, approximately 3 times a year including occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings. Paid time off in lieu is provided.
The successful candidate will be able to communicate and influence with impact at all levels, delivering projects and managing administration accurately. You must be skilled in building and maintaining excellent relationships, be resilient and adaptable and have the ability to lead and manage change to embed the programme in schools.

Every year in the UK, around 100 children are diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that mostly affects children under five. Neuroblastoma UK is a small national charity dedicated to finding a cure for this life-threatening disease - and is seeking a talented Senior Fundraising Officer to help us raise vital funds.
For 40 years, we’ve funded leading research to develop new, more effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. The role
The Senior Fundraising Officer is responsible for managing our portfolio of events and liaising with our community fundraisers to maximise their fundraising, as well as managing our individual supporters and managing fundraising admin across multiple areas. A key part of the role is ensuring our fundraising is compliant and developing strong relationships with our fundraisers.
The charity has a small team so everyone helps with thanking and banking, database management and administrative tasks and this role gives you the opportunity to have lots of autonomy and creative freedom in developing our fundraising.

As a Programme Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of all student-related events. Accountabilities
There are three main activities within the France team:
- Outreach (student recruitment),
- Programme Delivery (education and training events for students),
- Business development (attracting new sponsors)
The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. You will support the France team as needed and have specific responsibilities for identifying and onboarding students at business schools, engineering schools and universities across France, both online (social media, email marketing, webinars) and offline (in-person campus events and sponsored events). You will also play a key role in executing our social media strategy and managing our presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

About the Role
We're seeking a driven, empathetic, Programme Officer to help make a difference in the lives of asylum seekers, refugees, and young people in London.
As a Programme Officer, you'll play an important role in supporting our work, from helping recruit and train volunteer mentors to ensuring our CRM system is up to date and being the first point of contact for young people and their families. You’ll also ensure our mentors feel supported and will help them to provide a great experience for the young people they support.
Your role will also involve hands-on activities, like organising half-term trips, running weekly Youth Support Groups, and working directly with young people in temporary accommodation.

As a Legal Officer, you will:

Support the development of legal content for trainings and workshops that address the critical legal needs facing media outlets and journalists in exile. These are likely to include registration, employment, broadcasting and intellectual property law issues in new jurisdictions, to which they have relocated.

Design, scope and oversee the development of tools, resources, and other content on key legal issues of relevance to journalists and independent media outlets in exile, such as setting up in new jurisdictions.

About You
To be our Legal Officer, you will likely have:

Legal experience to degree level or equivalent, preferably in human rights and/or media law, with experience working either in a law firm, media house, or non-profit organisation

About the role
Imperial is looking for a Legacy Officer to join their successful Regular Giving and Legacy Giving team. This is a diverse role with plenty of opportunities for development and learning in a higher education setting, excellent experience if you currently work in the charity sector and would like to expand your knowledge.
The Legacy Giving programme seeks philanthropic support from alumni and friends by inspiring them to include a gift in their will to the university alongside supporting Imperial in their lifetime. The programme raises funds for a variety of projects across the university including student support and scholarships, research and areas of greatest need.
What you would be doing
Key responsibilities include project managing all legacy activity to recruit and steward legacy donors through face-to-face fundraising, telephone, direct mail and events, alongside the management of legacy administration. The role also involves working with academics and ensuring gifts are allocated to the appropriate area within the university. You will also provide support and training to all Advancement staff in talking about legacy giving and championing this across the university.
You will partner with the Head of Regular Giving and Legacy Giving to manage a large portfolio of legacy supporters and act as first point of contact for all legacy queries. You will steward new and existing legacy pledgers ensuring they remain engaged with the university, enrolled in The Queen’s Tower Society legacy circle and continue supporting Imperial philanthropically during their lifetime. The legacy officer will also manage production of legacy materials and appeals and implement new supporter journeys into legacy strategy and planning in collaboration with our Regular Giving Officers to encourage lifetime giving. You will partner closely with the Legal team to manage the provision of legacy wording to prospective donors and oversee all legacy administration with responsibility for managing the relationship with Imperial’s legacy consultant.
What we are looking for
• Educated to degree level or demonstration of equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience of working in or knowledge of legacy fundraising
• Experience of building relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues up to a senior level, alumni and donors
• Experience of working with databases and/or CRM systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a confident, helpful and professional telephone manner
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Evidence of strong interpersonal and influencing skills
• Ability to think strategically, with strong project management skills and a methodical and organised approach
• Ability to work autonomously, prioritising workload and keeping to deadlines
• Willingness to travel within and outside of the UK for specific events
• A flexible approach to working, able to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate alumni and related university events

We are seeking an Impact and Evaluation Manager to work closely with our Head of Data and Impact and Senior Data and Impact Officer. A key part of the role will be helping develop further how we evaluate the impact of our programmes. You’ll also be responsible for producing reports for different audiences including external partners and staff members delivering the IntoUniversity programme in our centres, and supporting with the management of our Salesforce database. The main duties of the role
- To work with the Impact and Operations teams to improve programme evaluation, including designing qualitative and quantitative impact and process evaluations.
- To lead the delivery of evaluations, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
- To act as an impact expert for the charity, using data and impact reporting internally and externally to develop IntoUniversity’s strategic goals
- To play a key role in the formal data and impact reporting for the charity including the production of Impact Reports and annual university reports, and ensuring the impact microsite is kept up to date.
- To prepare reports on the performance of the charity, collating data and presenting it in clear formats for a variety of internal and external audiences including: staff delivering the programme; Regional Operations Managers; the charity’s Senior Leadership and Senior Management teams; Trustees; Donors; University partners.
- To develop and maintain expertise in research and evaluation methodologies
- To keep abreast of research and policy developments in relation to the higher education and charity sectors.
- To lead on developing and delivering Impact training for new and existing staff.
- To support the management of IntoUniversity’s Salesforce database including the maintenance of database records, creation of new features, producing and analysing reports, supporting and training staff in itsuse, and reviewing the effectiveness of the database as a monitoring tool. Salesforce training will be provided.
- To support members of the delivery team with Salesforce queries and requests for data and analysis.
- To represent the charity at relevant conferences and events.
- To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post.
