We're recruiting a Senior Data Selections Analyst to join Mind's Analytics and Insight Team.
This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality data selections, supporter segmentation, data validation and campaign support across Mind's fundraising and engagement activities. Working closely with fundraising, communications and data colleagues, you'll help ensure supporters receive relevant and timely communications while maintaining excellent standards of data quality and compliance.
You'll play a key role in delivering audience selections, supporting campaign planning, improving data quality and helping colleagues make informed, data-driven decisions.
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
• Experience delivering end-to-end campaign selections, from briefing through to data outputs and reporting.• Experience using FastStats Discoverer (or a similar marketing database and segmentation tool).• Strong knowledge of CRM systems and data quality management, ideally including Dynamics 365.• Experience using SQL/T-SQL to query, validate and investigate data.• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities
The post holder will:
• Deliver accurate and timely audience selections, segmentation and data extracts to support fundraising, marketing and supporter engagement activities.
• Work with stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into effective data selections, ensuring all outputs meet agreed briefs, deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Support the delivery of automated and multi-channel supporter journeys through the creation, testing and validation of audience selections.
• Use FastStats, SQL and other analytical tools to investigate data, validate outputs and identify opportunities to improve data quality and campaign performance.
• Carry out data quality checks, imports and reconciliations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of supporter data across Mind's systems.
• Provide expert advice and support to colleagues on data selections, segmentation, CRM data structures and best practice use of supporter data.
• Develop and maintain documentation, processes and guidance to support consistent and efficient ways of working.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, communications, digital and supporter experience teams to deliver supporter-centric and data-driven campaigns.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to increase automation, efficiency and effectiveness across data and campaign delivery processes.
• Ensure all activities are undertaken in line with GDPR, data protection legislation, Gift Aid regulations and Mind's internal policies and procedures.

About the role
Reporting in to the Supporter Data Manager, the CRM Business Analyst will drive continuous improvement of the CRM solution through business analysis and automated testing, working collaboratively with the Supporter Data Manager and CRM Technical Lead to optimise efficiency and functionality.
The post-holder will engage with stakeholders and deliver strategic insights into As-Is and To-Be process models, data structures, and interdependencies, translating findings into concise agile requirements that enhance operational effectiveness.
Some of the main responsibilities of the CRM Business Analyst include:
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimise CRM system and articulate proposed solutions to the Supporter Data Manager and wide business users.
- Implement best-practice Business Analysis processes, tools, and methodologies to strengthen capability and drive meaningful change.
- Act as a mentor empowering and upskilling team members, embedding best practice business analysis and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Critically evaluate risks through the requirements gathering process, collaborating with teams to develop effective solutions that ensure project success.
- Ensure the accurate translation of business requirements into actionable specifications, prioritising high-impact initiatives that enhance operational efficiency. • Provide key input and support for the continuous improvement of the Agile development process (SCRUM) by actively engaging in all ceremonies.
- Identify opportunities for how Dynamics365 can enable and improve business processes, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives.
- Ensure Jira tickets are regularly updated to reflect accurate project progress.
- Extract and analyse data from multiple sources, applying SQL and other analytical techniques to inform decision-making. Build, configure, and execute automated test scripts to optimise performance and mitigate risks.
- Analyse and develop reporting requirements, providing key insights that strengthen the organisation’s business intelligence architecture.

Essential:
- Significant experience or professional qualification in Business Analysis.
- Demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst covering Agile requirements gathering and specification, data modelling and mapping, process re-engineering, and reporting.
- Developed communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with different stakeholder groups.
- Experience of applying industry standard process mapping techniques (e.g. BPMN, UML) to support process re-engineering.
- Experience of configuring and supporting the development of Dynamics365 CRM solutions.
- Experience of using automated testing tools such as EasyRepro.
- Creating end-user acceptance testing scripts, supporting the UAT process. Using SQL to extract data required to undertake analysis and investigation activities.
- Highly developed knowledge of Dynamics365 entity architecture.
- Applying different risk management techniques.
- Highly developed working knowledge of Jira.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Visio or other process mapping tools.
Desirable:
- Professional qualification in testing and experience of applying different test frameworks.
- Experience of Azure specific application development.
- Experience of writing technical documentation.
- Configuring and managing SharePoint sites.

Job Summary
Sitting within the Product Management Team, the Dynamics 365 (CRM) Product Manager is responsible for the Dynamics 365 and Microsoft product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure revenue and product optimisation goals are met. The Product Manager’s job involves ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Forming and managing effective relationships with key business stakeholders, in particular Business Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and IT Leads. Work with stakeholders to deliver the Product Roadmap by producing clear and manageable roadmaps and backlogs for delivery and communication.
Experienced in product management and agile methodologies you bring stakeholders together to solve problems and optimise product capabilities to enable the business to reach their strategic and operational objectives. You effectively matrix manage cross functional team members assigned to your product squad, liaising across multiple teams and functions to ensure engagement and successful product delivery against agreed business expectations and governance processes.
This role is for D365 and Microsoft products within St John and therefore the applicant requires experience and knowledge with D365, CRM, Microsoft and associated architecture, tech stacks, processes and user support. St John are looking for a person who has demonstrable and proven experience working with Dynamics 365 to deliver CRM programmes with complex, multi-audience organisations with a disparate database and business requirements to support growth, integrations, data cleansing and unified consent management. Alongside this we would expect the role to lead on Microsoft platform management, supporting wave releases and the adoption of new features and functionality.
About You
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C) inc Maths & English (minimum of 5), be Product Management certified/Agile Project Management / any other recognised Product mgt qualification, have demonstrable and proven experience of Microsoft Platform Management, have proven experience of D365 product management lifecycle: product vision, product roadmap, backlog management, feature and user story development, have demonstrable and proven experience of D365 Sales, Marketing and Customer Engagement, have experience of working in structured product team following defined governance standards relating to product roadmaps, resource management, issue management, change management etc & have the ability to translate complex technical solutions to a non-technical audience and gain the right level of buy-in and support.
