The Volunteer Support Officer role:
As our Volunteer Support Officer, you will be acting as the first point of contact via email and phone for our volunteers providing warm and friendly assistance. This role provides vital support to volunteers within our enrolment process as well as administrative tasks that aid and celebrate our volunteers.
Our successful candidate will be organised, a strong team player and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities as our Volunteer Support Officer will include:.
- Supporting the adult volunteer applications to join the Sea Cadets, ensuring that personnel records are updated accordingly on our database
- Administer the disclosure process as a MSSC counter signatory
- Reviewing and approving applications for the Cadet Forces Medal
- Responding to all volunteer enquiries received by MSSC by email, post and phone
- Administering personnel forms associated with volunteer progression
Requirements needed to become our Volunteer Support Officer:
- Computer literacy: strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet and experience of web based information systems
- Experience of working in a customer focused role, including handling a wide range of enquiries by phone and email, and handling challenging phone calls and emails
- Experience of using data protection procedures

Harris Hill is looking for an interim Fundraising Assistant to support a national charity for 2 to 3 months on remote of hybrid basis, starting May 2024.
The role is full time but could be 30 hours per week. You can work remotely outside of London or hybrid inside London, supporting their mass participation team.
Key tasks and duties

The Volunteer Administration Executive will sit within the CoppaFeel! Education Team and will work closely with the Volunteer Community Executive and the Volunteer Community Manager. They will provide administrative support volunteer recruitment and onboarding; induction and training; support and supervision; and reward and recognition.
This is a remote-first role, which means you aren’t expected to come into the office. The only days you would be required to attend the office would be for our quarterly team meetings, quarterly department meetings and in person training. We will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in the office. Although the role is remote-first we have an office space where you are also welcome to work from.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! exists to educate and remind every young person in the UK that checking their chest isn’t only fun, it could save their life. We are the first breast cancer charity in the UK to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling a new healthy habit that could one day save their life. The Role
We are looking for a coordinator to carry out the delivery of our Vocational Qualifications and Funded Modern Apprenticeship Programmes.
The role includes course and funding administration, communication with students and teaching staff, registration with external bodies, and maintenance of student records.
This post requires essential knowledge of IT with a clear understanding of data input and good data management principles, attention to detail and the ability to follow strict timelines in accordance with our funders, as well as adhering to contract requirements. An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Community Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Trust. You will be joining a dynamic community fundraising team at an exciting period of growth in our fundraising programme. You will work along side the Community Development and Fundraising Manager and the Digital and Social Community Fundraiser and be responsible for providing a high level of administrative and triage support for Community Fundraising activity, with specific responsibility for accurate data inputting and exceptional initial stewardship of community fundraising supporters.

The Community Fundraising team all work from home and regularly keep in touch with weekly online team meetings, individual catchups as required, as well as in person meetings throughout the year. This role would suit someone who is passionate about relational fundraising, is extremely organised and can work both on their own and in a team.
Typical responsibilities in the role are:
- To triage and respond to incoming enquiries, material requests and bookings via phone & email, efficiently and accurately.
- To ensure the management of accurate supporter records/bookings for key community events using third party external sites such as Enthuse to support this
- Engage with fundraising supporters and potential supporters to deliver exceptional stewardship and understanding people’s needs and challenges
- To assist in the correspondence with and development of fundraisers and donors, to ensure they have the support and fundraising materials they need to reach their fundraising goals and have an exceptional supporter experience
- Create and amend supporter records on the database in an accurate manner and within agreed standards ensuring data is always managed securely and effectively.
- Update Community Pipeline with activity and income details and us this platform to provide data on fundraising activity.
This is a home-based role with some travel throughout the UK. You will be able to take Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) for this and claim travel and subsistence allowances.

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for a Service Quality Adviser to join our Network Quality & Compliance Team. This role is part of the team that supports Age UK and its network of local and national partners to provide consistent, high-quality services to the public. The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.
