 This is a new role at the DEC and developed as a key part of the DEC’s 2024-2029 strategy. The DEC has a wide range of established relationships with trusts and foundations, many of which give 6- and 7-figure sums to DEC appeals. The Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for providing excellent stewardship to our portfolio of trusts and foundations. In addition, the role will also be responsible for cultivating new relationships for the DEC through thorough research, and through the prospect development cycle, to raise money for DEC appeals. In addition to appeal fundraising, the Trusts & Foundations Manager will be responsible for delivering on a new core cost fundraising strategy, in close partnership with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships.

Demonstrable, transferable trusts and foundations experience and knowledge, (preferably within the humanitarian & charity sector), will hold you in good stead for this exciting new role.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategic Development: Develop and manage the trusts and foundations portfolio and create compelling proposals for future appeals and core costs income. Showcase new ideas and innovative approaches for growing and developing a pipeline of new prospects. Develop engaging stewardship plans.  

Administrative Compliance: Lead and manage, robust and professional grant management, ensuring systems and processes are fit for purpose, streamlined and accessible. Remain compliant with grant terms and conditions, ensuring you are clearly communicating the unique contours of the DEC model whilst providing comprehensive and inspiring impact reporting.

Relationship Management: Maintain regular contact and collaboration with internal teams to collate a high-quality suite of communication materials and stewardship plans specific to a trust and foundation audience. Proactively reach out and build long-lasting relationships with funders to reach ambitious fundraising targets.

Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor, measure and evaluate progress against the DEC’s strategic goals and funds raised from trusts and foundations. Prepare regular reports for senior management and trustees on the development, progress and future strategic actions for trusts and foundations at the DEC.

About the role:

We have a new opportunity for a highly organised individual to join our Housing Services Team, as a Housing Services & Income Administrator. With proven skills and experience of using IT and databases related to administrative tasks such as producing letters and reports with a clear focus on organisation skills, you will play an essential role with supporting the Housing Services team and Manager, and our supported accommodation teams.

In your role, you will be responsible for

• Maximising rental income and minimising loss through bad debts through efficient application SHP Procedures.
• Supporting the housing services team, and accommodation services teams to ensure that clients receive timely rent statement and letters.

• Collating performance returns against KPI’s and provider monitoring returns.

We are currently operating a blended working arrangement, that includes working from our Head Office in Kings Cross for a minimum of 3 days per week, as well as flexible occasional travel to our accommodation services across London. The weekly working hours are 37.5 hrs, to be completed between 9am-5pm Mon- Fri, with occasional need to work outside of these times in the event of an emergency.

The Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art (PMC) is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to oversee the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer.

About the Role

PMC is looking for a Networks Manager (Parental Leave Cover) to manage the delivery of the Centre’s Networks and further develop our offer of networking events and skill development programmes.

The PMC’s Networks connect and support researchers who are engaging with British art in its broadest sense, at different stages of their working lives. The networks currently include the Doctoral Researchers Network (DRN), Early Career Researchers Network (ECRN) and the British Art Network (BAN), a subject-specialist network supported by PMC in partnership with Tate. The programming of each network is led by a convenor: annually appointed external convenors in the case of the ECRN and DRN; the Head of Grants, Networks and Learning in the case of BAN. Additionally, the PMC Networks team run programmes and events to support the vocational development of emerging researchers and professionals, currently including the British Art in Motion film competition and the Art Trade Seminar. During 2025 our Networks programme will be developed and refined, with a new consolidated network for emerging researchers. The post-holder will undertake the final planning and implementation of the new network.

Salary will be £44,000.

This post is a fixed-term contract for a minimum period of 10 months, full-time and the hours of work are 35 per week.

British Art Network

The successful applicant will:

• take an active role in the BAN team, based across Tate and PMC, in overseeing the effective delivery of the Network’s activities
• lead on BAN’s membership and communications, including working with the external web developer in maintaining and developing the dedicated BAN website and preparing and delivering membership-wide mailings
• work with the Convenor to plan and deliver the Curatorial Forum (a global residential programme) overseeing the logistics and administration (including travel and accommodation bookings)

Main responsibilities

· Development and implementation of a fundraising strategy including a portfolio aimed at generating in the region of £500,000 per annum, building on existing fundraising activities and developing new fundraising initiatives.

· Use the portfolio indicators to enable us to make informed projections regarding future income.

· Be proactive in identifying, engaging and building good relationships with prospective corporate donors, successfully securing them as funding partners. Deepen our engagement and grow our relationship with existing corporate donors.

· Work with the team to develop our church and faith partnerships to ensure these are increased, ongoing and become regular supporters.

· Explore and implement ways of promoting Good Company and its projects to successfully attract individual donors, some of which will be in the high value supporters' field alongside provide regular communications to current funders and run one off campaigns.

· Explore and increase our income from grant giving trusts and foundations. At times working in fundraising partnerships with support of external consultants and colleagues across the wider Trussell Trust network

· Implement a CRM system to oversee the above aspects.

· Share best practice and learning from other charities across the Trussell network.

· Support our partnership work with other Trussell based foodbanks in Surrey to address poverty.

Through this new organisational role, you will proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, community groups, the faith sector and grant giving trusts and foundations. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.

Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.

About the role:

This role is responsible for developing and expanding the membership offerings of LFBF, including chartered and corporate memberships, while also overseeing bursaries, scholarships, and awards. The position involves cultivating senior-level relationships with key clients, with Profit & Loss responsibilities for charity funds, and contributing to strategic decisions as part of the Senior Leadership team. Additionally, the role-holder will drive the integration of the Centre for the Study in Financial Innovation (CSFI) into our broader strategy, ensuring alignment and successful implementation.

This is an exciting strategic leadership role which enjoys both the flexibility of hybrid working and flexible part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and implementing strategies to promote LFBF's chartered and membership, while exploring and building new revenue streams.
• Managing and growing relationships with UK and international banks and financial services providers, seeking sponsorships and partnerships to support our objectives.
• Developing a strategy for integrating CSFI into LFBF, including launching and promoting CSFI events and managing its brand through digital channels.
• Identifying and establishing partnerships with educational institutions and organisations to facilitate scholarships, bursaries, internships, and specialist qualifications.
• Leading presentations to secure commercial commitments, gathering market feedback, and contributing to the development of LFBF’s brand identity.
• Taking responsibility for the profit and loss for LFBF’s training arm, LFBF Learning Ltd., and ensuring alignment with LFBF’s strategic growth plans.

You will have:

• Worked in a senior business development role, preferably at Director level.
• Proven experience in successfully developing and implementing strategic marketing and business development plans.
• Demonstrated the ability to manage and grow a portfolio of clients, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Experience in developing and managing partnerships with educational institutions, professional bodies, and securing sponsorships for events.
• Previous experience managing a profit and loss statement for a business unit or department.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively manage projects.
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
