You will join our brilliant Force Partnerships team who are responsible for developing Police Now’s relationship with stakeholders across the UK policing and implementing our programmes in collaboration with forces. You will support our work to get partnership contracts so that we can place our officers in police forces across the country. You will organise events and opportunities for senior individuals within policing to come and see the work we do, visit our academies and meet our participants.

The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. You will ensure meetings with our external partners are well prepared for and will undertake various projects and administration tasks to allow us, as a team, to develop positive and lasting partnerships. This is a highly varied role which will give you the opportunity to work across the whole of Police Now. As such we are looking for a quick learner and someone who is as determined as we are to see the Police Now mission succeed.

What you’ll do – the key responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
• Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
• Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
• Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
• Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. This includes but is not limited to; preparing and printing event documentation, record-keeping, team inbox monitoring, room bookings, research into current and future force partners and booking and taking minutes for both internal and external meetings.

Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

• Willingness to travel to the London office, as well as forces and events across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities

A few practical things:

• This role is hybrid, involving a mixture of working from home and from our Central London office.
• There will be some limited additional requirements to travel for meetings and occasional expectations to work outside of office hours, such as our annual in person Staff Conference and quarterly evening ‘get togethers’ online with volunteers.
• This role is the equivalent of 3 days per week, however we are flexible to accommodate the regular working hours that work for you, between 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.

About the role

You will play a key part in developing and delivering our community fundraising strategy, making sure that anyone and everyone who wants to fundraise for people with arthritis has a great experience doing it. You will build strong relationships with supporters, be that as part of a golf club charity of the year partnership, workplace fundraising or supporting someone with a personal connection to arthritis to raise money in their local area. Developing, delivering and ultimately growing our Facebook challenges offer will be a huge focus – we have some great learnings and are now looking to take them to the next level. You will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation, from marketing to product development to events, to make sure our products meet the needs of our supporters and that their journey through the organisation is seamless. About you

If your knowledge, skills and experience include the following then we’d love to hear from you:

• Proven successful track record of planning and delivering community fundraising products (or similar) to achieve a good return on investment.
• Experience of delivering excellent supporter or customer stewardship through multi-channels and building relationships with a wide variety of supporters on the phone, in writing and face to face driving engagement, increasing income, and increasing supporter retention.  
• Experience to successfully and independently manage projects, delivering to pre-set deadlines, managing high workloads and ability to understand how and when to prioritise work.

Community and Events Fundraising Manager

Wider relationships will include Digital colleagues embedded in our Impact on Urban Health & Charities teams., and the management of external service providers. 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as lead for our website, social media channels and any future digital products for the Foundation brand, overseeing the day to day management of these channels and ensuring a pipeline of engaging content that supports communications objectives. 

• Take a UX approach to content planning and channel management. Design, test and optimise targeted user journeys across all our channels. 

• Take ownership for developing content for our Digital channels, including copy, images, gifs, and other formats of content. At times working alone, or collaborating with the corporate communications team. 

• Work highly collaboratively with content and communications colleagues to ensure that our channels support the publication and promotion of our relevant and engaging content.  

• Work closely with the corporate communications team, and advise on digital marketing strategy to make sure our website and content are discoverable by our audiences and engaged with, including managing our SEO and paid advertising campaigns via agency partners. 

• Develop our measurement and reporting framework, making sure that data and actionable insights are captured and shared with teams to inform day to day decision making ensuring we’re driven by results.

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising Manager (Grants & Trusts) will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful fundraising strategy focused on trusts, foundations, and statutory grants. They will identify new funding opportunities, build relationships with funders, and write compelling applications that align with St Bride Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.

This role is crucial in securing core funding, project-specific grants, and capital funding, enabling us to expand our heritage, learning, and community engagement programmes.

This role will be closely involved in projects that, under our new vision and mission, aim to transform SBF into a contemporary institute serving the creative industries, researchers and the wider public. The role will suit someone with a passion to take on challenges with the aim of creating a cultural hub fit for the 21st century.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant & Trust Fundraising

• Develop and implement a revenue and capital fundraising strategy, identifying compelling propositions and packages, and setting and securing agreed targets.
• Research and identify trusts, foundations, and grant opportunities aligned with our mission.
• Develop and manage a pipeline of funding prospects, ensuring a strategic and proactive approach to fundraising.
• Write and submit high-quality, compelling funding applications for core, project, and capital funding.
• Track and meet application deadlines, ensuring compliance with funder requirements.
• Work with the Board of Trustees to establish and manage a Fundraising Committee.

2. Relationship Management & Stewardship

• Build and maintain strong relationships with grant funders, trustees, and key stakeholders.

4. Compliance & Reporting

• Several years of proven experience in trusts and grants fundraising, with a track record of securing funding from foundations, trusts, and statutory bodies.
• Strong research and prospecting skills, identifying the right funders for key projects.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, able to create compelling grant applications and reports.
• Experience in relationship management, with the ability to engage funders and maintain long-term partnerships.

Overview of the role

As the Fundraising Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a range of fundraising appeals and our individual and regular giving programmes. This position also provides plenty of variety and the opportunity to support and develop skills across several income streams. The Fundraising Officer will work collaboratively with the Fundraising and Communications teams and closely with the Senior Fundraising Managers.

 What you will do as part of our team

Fundraising activities

Individual Giving

· Manage the regular giving programme by implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships

· Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship

· Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (giving at a lower to mid level) by prompt thanking, excellent stewardship and building effective donor journeys

Fundraising Appeals

· Manage Glass Door’s direct marketing appeals including our flagship annual Christmas appeal – taking the lead on the direct mail and email campaign

· Lead on content development, and implementation of donor segmentation based on giving history, preferences, and engagement levels

· Work closely with the Communications Team to deliver a robust communication plan – actively taking part in the case studies, content creation and digital campaign plans (social media and website)

· Create and implement a follow-up communication plan to thank donors and provide updates on the impact of their contributions

· Undertake evaluations of each appeal’s performance metrics and donor responses to refine future appeals

Fundraising support

· Monitor the Fundraising inbox and respond promptly to ad-hoc queries from individual donors or prospects

· Support the Senior Fundraising Managers with research into current and prospective donors, and compile information to support funding applications and reports

· Thank and steward in-memoriam gifts

Job Description

Royal Star & Garter (RSG) is working in partnership with Royal British Legion (RBL) and the Veterans Covenant Healthcare Alliance (VCHA) to deliver a Veteran Friendly Framework (VFF) for residential care and nursing homes across England. With over 25,000 veterans and their partners living in care homes that do not have a military focus, there is huge potential to use the VFF to make a difference to their wellbeing, social connections, and quality of life.

You will support care home providers nationally in delivering best practice in support of veterans and their partners to ensure that those who have served in the Armed Forces, whether regular or reserves can access appropriate services.

1. Deliver on the VFF project plan and milestones and report regularly against agreed performance indicators and targets

2. Ensuring a high standard of work supporting the delivery of the programme to time, to appropriate quality standards, and in a cost-effective manner.

3. Identify and contact care homes and groups of care providers to engage with the VFF programme

4. Maintain the programme’s contact databases; and act as a contact point for enquiring and accredited organisations, providing guidance, support and training as required.

5. Identify best practice to be shared across the programme.

6. Coordinate the delivery of Armed Forces awareness across care homes, including coordinating speakers, presentations etc. for events if required.

7. Work with stakeholders and build rapport with local/regional statutory services for the Armed Forces community.

Age UK Lambeth’s vision is to work closely with residents, closely to where they live, remain relevant and to respond locally to rising needs. Hospitals need to free up beds by discharging patients who do not need to remain in hospital. Despite the pressures we want discharges to be safe, successful and as painless as possible for patients. We also want to ensure a patient is not readmitted into hospital. 

The Hospital Discharge Community Support Coordinator will match Age UK Lambeth (AUKL) volunteers and partner organisation volunteers to support a patient's discharge. Volunteers could provide support with transport, practical support such as food shopping or completing home safety checks. Upon discharge volunteers may continue supporting patients for up to 4 weeks, providing support in person (at the individual's home or in the community) and over the phone, linking them into support services and helping them access the community to prevent hospital readmission.

What you’ll be doing?

1. Oversee the development of a new, inclusive volunteer programme that offers a range of diverse and challenging volunteer roles to support patients leaving hospital and once settled home. 

2. Work in partnership with the VCS to create 100 volunteering opportunities to support hospital discharge.

3. Using the volunteer platform, Care for Me, track allocated tasks to ensure they’re completed. Monitor volunteer reports to review the support and work delivered under the project.

4. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with King’s College Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital to ensure appropriate referrals are made into the service.
