About the Role
This is a unique role that connects Learning and Development (L&D) with Recruitment to ensure the College attracts, recruits and develops the right talent while fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
As a key member of the People and Culture Team, you will lead on shaping and delivering the College’s L&D framework and initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, promoting inclusivity in recruitment and ensuring talent is identified, supported, and nurtured.
You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and designing, developing, and delivering learning interventions that build organisational capability and resilience. About You
You are a dynamic and versatile L&D professional, who is passionate about people development and recruitment. You will bring a blend of L&D expertise and recruitment experience, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.
You will have proven experience in designing and delivering innovative training programmes, including leadership and management development, and be confident in using digital learning tools and eLearning platforms. Alongside this, you will have managed end-to-end recruitment processes and understand how to embed inclusive and equitable practices throughout.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will work closely with managers and stakeholders across the College. You will be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and bring a creative, solutions-focused approach to everything you do.

The role:
This is a central role within the Foundation team to manage, develop and maintain partnerships and programmes with national and international charities, corporate partners and colleagues across the business. The charity is rapidly scaling up, recently doubling its annual support to £6 million. Degrees has partnered with leading climate change funders and research partners including the Quadrature Climate Foundation, Open Philanthropy, Crankstart, Navigation Fund, Outlier Projects, LAD Climate Fund and UK Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA). Fundraising for the organisation has been led by the Founder and CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief of Staff, and the Chair of the Trustees with the support of an experienced Senior Philanthropy Advisor.
We now seek a full-time team member to build on this base. Reporting to the COO, and working closely with senior staff and the Chair, the Development Manager will support high‑performing fundraising that secures multi‑year, diversified funding. He / she will also introduce robust processes for pipeline management and donor stewardship and manage the complete donor lifecycle (from identification to cultivation to solicitation and stewardship) of a portfolio of top prospects. The post holder will receive initial onboarding support from the Senior Philanthropy Advisor. As fundraising grows, the team may expand in the future.
Initial priorities include expansion beyond the current donor pool, with a strong push to identify and engage new funders, and putting in place the systems (CRM, reporting cadence, key performance indicators) to support growth at scale.

About the role
Reporting in to the UK Influencing Lead, the Government & Parliamentary Lead supports the management of Christian Aid’s government influencing and UK specific public policy development and delivery in line with policy, advocacy and campaigns strategies that maximises impact.

About the role
We are currently looking for an impassioned and self-driven individual to join our activities team to deliver exceptional service to our students, through engaging with the 350+ student groups, which deliver an incredible range of world-class opportunities to their members.

The Role
