As Business Development Manager for our Community Services will focus and lead on:
· Analysing and unlocking opportunities for new business
· Implementing business development plans
· Supporting with getting new funding and bringing services to fruition
You will be responsible for identifying and building partnerships with NHS Trusts, Audiology Departments and ICBs to secure funding and expand our RNID Near You services across the UK. You’ll work closely with internal teams to develop business cases, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the successful launch of new RNID Near You contracts.
What you'll be doing
· Identify and build relationships with potential funders such as NHS Foundation Trusts, Audiology Departments, and ICBs to support service expansion.
· Collaborate with the Bids and Tender Manager to secure funding and develop compelling business cases for new RNID Near You services.
· Implement business development plans in partnership with Heads of Operations, supporting various workstreams and projects.
· Analyse and evaluate new service opportunities, contributing to a pipeline of potential contracts and making strategic recommendations.
· Ensure delivery of growth targets, including the opening of at least four new service contracts per financial year in line with RNID’s multi-year plan.
You will be a commercially minded professional with proven business development expertise specifically within the health sector, particularly in securing new contracts and driving service growth. You’ll bring a strategic mindset and ability to spot and seize opportunities through partnerships and projects. Your excellent relationship-building and communication skills will enable you to craft compelling proposals that resonate with stakeholders. RNID Near You is our national community-based service run by trained volunteers which offers:
· a hearing check and information on how to book a full hearing test.
· basic hearing aid repairs, cleaning, and advice on using hearing aids.
· information on hearing aids, hearing loss, tinnitus, and related issues, including emotional and practical peer support from volunteers with lived experience.

The Housing Manager plays an important role in delivering high-quality housing services to vulnerable people, including those with complex mental health needs, young people, and survivors of domestic abuse. Reporting to the Head of Housing Services, the Housing Manager is responsible for ensuring that tenancies are sustained, rent is collected on time, and repairs are reported and monitored efficiently. Here's what the team will be looking for
The ideal candidate will have solid experience delivering housing management services within supported accommodation or housing associations. They must have a proven track record in line managing or supervising staff and demonstrate strong expertise in rent collection and arrears management. It is essential that they have worked with people who have complex needs, such as mental health challenges, experiences of domestic abuse, or homelessness. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of housing law, tenancy and licence agreements, and rent recovery procedures. They should also be knowledgeable about Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, and entitlements for individuals with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF). Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with effective written and verbal communication abilities. The candidate must be IT literate and experienced in using housing management systems. Additionally, they should possess the ability to coach, support, and motivate staff to ensure high standards of service delivery.

2wish Cymru and 2wish:
2wish has been established since 2012 and has since grown from strength to strength. During this time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death.
We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We work in partnership with professionals who refer into the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
We were founded as a Welsh organisation providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage. In January 2024, we expanded into ‘phase one’ England, namely Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Somerset. And in July 2025 we will expand into ‘phase two’ England, namely Merseyside, Devon and Cornwall, Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Context of role:
The Therapies Assessor and Service Manager will lead the development, coordination, and delivery of our support service for families, professionals and individuals affected by sudden bereavement. Working closely with the Immediate Support and Debrief Manager who is responsible for leading the immediate support and debrief service, you will be responsible for ensuring that our ongoing services are trauma-informed, consistent and delivered to a high standard supporting the complex and individual needs of those who have experienced profound loss.
This role will oversee the existing ongoing support service delivered across Wales and the expansion phases across England and will contine to grow the team as the charity expands. Services include counselling, complementary therapy, play therapy, support events, coffee mornings, wellbeing walks, online events and our beautiful respite house, Ty Uchaf. You will manage a team of nine individuals who are a mixture of full and part time roles. This is a unique and hugely rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of suddenly bereaved individuals across our communities.
You will work closely with the Therapies Assessor and Service Manager and Children and Young People Service Manager to provide a holistic, joined up service to all who access our service.
Main duties:
- To manage the bereavement service including the operational delivery of our therapeutic service and ongoing support, ensuring the service is delivered consistently, responsively and to a high standard
- Monitor and maintain high-quality therapeutic support in line with ethical frameworks (e.g., BACP/UKCP/BAPT).
- Ensure client records, risk assessments, and service monitoring forms are accurate and stored securely.
- Manage referrals, assessments, allocation of clients, and waiting lists efficiently.
- To develop and oversee ongoing support services including coffee mornings, support events, our respite house and online support events, in line with budget and service delivery expectation
- To work closely with the Head of Bereavement Services to ensure delivery and growth of services
- To oversee the awareness raising efforts with our secondary referral partners across Wales and the two phases of England
- To oversee the service and monitoring tools and ensure we are actively gathering feedback and monitoring appropriately
Management:
- To lead, motivate and line manage the ongoing support team responsible for delivering our ongoing support service
- Manage a growing team, organise regular team meetings and set realistic but challenging objectives to further the work of the charity
- To carry our monthly supervisions and bi-annual appraisals with the Counselling and Support Outreach Coordinators and Support Coordinator
- To carry out bi-monthly case reviews with the Immediate Support team
- To produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to evidence activity and impact
- To develop and oversee a training programme for the team including mandatory and varied subject matter
General:
- To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration
- To show respect and sensitivity for the cultural and religious beliefs of families
- To undertake learning opportunities and seek them out for the team
- To adhere to all company policies and procedures including Safeguarding, Confidentiality, Health and Safety and Lone Working; and to be proactive in implementing new safe working practices as appropriate
- To attend weekend and evening community events in support of the charity as necessary
- Participate as and when required in team meetings and one-to-one meetings, and undertake, as appropriate, courses/training/other developmental activities, which is relevant to the role
- Contribute on the social media platforms maintained by 2wish
It is the nature of the work that tasks and responsibilities are in may circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way and tasks, which are not specifically covered in their job description may have to be undertaken.

Salary: Starting salary of £32,000 per annum, with the opportunity for an increase through the annual appraisal structure.
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description
The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. The Europe Regional Finance program has evolved out of our Financial Regulation and Policy Program that began in 2019 with a narrow focus on European central banks. About The Role
Working closely with the Program Director, the Program Manager adapts and manages the Europe Regional Finance program to ensure the program team delivers on its objectives and goals. The role requires high-level coordination and support to a team working across Europe, leading campaign planning and evaluation processes, grant management, while coordinating the program's budgeting and re-forecasting.

To be successful as a Community Fundraising Manager, you will need:

Friends of Moorfields
The Friends of Moorfields is a registered charity supporting the patients and staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a world centre of excellence for the specialist treatment of eye diseases.
The Friends provide a range of services to support the work of the hospital – including the purchase of clinical equipment – and managing the trust’s volunteer programme.
The Position
The Volunteer Support Officer is an exciting and challenging role, responsible for assisting the Volunteer Services Manager in the recruitment, administration and support of a network 350+ volunteers throughout the trust, with a focus on Moorfields Network Sites.
The post-holder will be an all-rounder; someone who is comfortable working on their own initiative, is well organised, numerate, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a small and friendly team. They will be supported to grow and develop in this role, through an active approach to training and development, and through a positive and empowering working environment.
Key Accountabilities
- To lead on the recruitment, administration and support the teams of Volunteers at various Moorfields Network Sites.
- To support the delivery of the ‘Telephone Support Service’
- To promote and support volunteer services in Moorfields City Road.
