About Bright Futures UK

Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.

Role Overview

This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.

You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Referral and Programme Oversight

• Act as the lead contact for all incoming referrals, including those from hospitals, statutory services, community organisations, and families
• Hold safe, compassionate, and confidential conversations with CYPs to understand their needs and gather relevant information around education, physical health, and mental wellbeing
• Ensure all referral documentation, risk assessments, consent forms, and safeguarding procedures are completed to a high standard and in line with organisational policy
• Maintain strong working relationships with referral partners, providing updates and sharing appropriate feedback
• Oversee the matching of referred CYP to suitable volunteers in collaboration with the Volunteer Senior Coordinator
• Monitor programme delivery through regular check-ins with Personalised Programme Coordinators to provide support and identify emerging risks or additional needs
• Liaise with internal colleagues to escalate safeguarding concerns and ensure support plans remain up to date
• Contribute to the development of our personalised support model, helping us adapt and evolve our offer based on the needs of our community

Team Management and Coordination

• Provide day-to-day line management and supervision to the Personalised Programme Coordinators
• Delegate tasks effectively and oversee the coordination of team workloads and timelines

Stakeholder Engagement and Promotion

• Promote Bright Futures UK’s personalised programme offer to relevant professionals and services
• Represent the organisation at external meetings, events, and forums
• Work with the Communications Team to ensure referral resources and information materials are accessible, clear, and up to date

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Administration

• Maintain accurate records using our CRM systems (Better Impact and Asana), ensuring compliance with GDPR and safeguarding standards
• Support ongoing monitoring and evaluation through data collection and feedback

Person Specification

Essential:

· Demonstrated ability to hold sensitive conversations in a trauma-informed, empathetic and professional way

· Knowledge of the education or healthcare systems affecting children and young people

· Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

· High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records

OVERVIEW

This role will be a key member of our ambitious team, delivering a growing portfolio of fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, and supporter engagement initiatives. You’ll oversee our supporter journeys, manage our communications channels, and build meaningful relationships that drive income and deepen our impact.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation

• Work with the Head of Fundraising to plan and deliver our 12-month supporter journey – including fundraising campaigns (online and offline), events and appeals.
• Manage our calendar of challenge events (e.g. The Don’s Cycle Challenge, Wombles Walk, Sponsored Skydive).
• Grow supporter-led community fundraising in the local area.
• Lead outreach to engage new local partners – including small businesses, schools and clubs – promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.

Communications & Marketing

• Alongside the Head of Fundraising, lead all communications for the charity.
• Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations, event and programme sign-ups.
• Work with the wider Foundation team and club comms team to create content for social media, e-newsletters and our website.
• Promote Foundation programmes and campaigns to fans, families, and local supporters, driving participation and donations.
• Create marketing materials (posters, flyers, etc.) to support charitable prorammes and campaigns.
• Collaborate with Senior Managers to share the impact of the Foundation through monitoring and evaluation reports. Including creating the annual organsiation Impact Report.
• Manage the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is regularly updated, fully functioning, and aligned with key campaigns, events, and programmes.

​Supporter Engagement & Stewardship

• Manage the supporter engagement programme, delivering a rolling 12-month plan of personalised and meaningful touchpoints.
• Develop and implement strategies to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors.
• Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (particularly low- to mid-level donors) through excellent donor care, timely thanking, and compelling communications.
• Coordinate supporter stories and participant case studies to inspire giving.
• Manage our weekly e-communications, using engaging content to recruit new subscribers and convert them into donors, event participants, or programme attendees.

Supporter Care

• Act as the first point of contact for fundraisers and donors, delivering first-class stewardship and support.
• Ensure timely, warm and effective follow-up with all supporters, helping them feel inspired, valued and connected.

Events & Community Activation

• Support the delivery of fundraising and engagement opportunities at AFC Wimbledon fixtures and stadium events.
• Represent the Foundation at local events, cheque presentations, and community partner visits.

Administration & Data Management

• Maintain accurate supporter and income records in our CRM system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
• Liaise with the Finance Officer to process donations, including Gift Aid claims and income reconciliation.
• Provide regular fundraising reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

Qualifications & Experience

• Hold a relevant higher education or industry recognised certification or have a minimum of at least 1–2 years' experience in a fundraising, communications, supporter engagement or similar role
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with supporters, partners, or donors
• Experience planning and delivering fundraising campaigns, events, or community initiatives
• Experience using digital tools for fundraising and engagement (e.g. mass email platforms, design tools, giving platforms, CRM systems)

We are recruiting for Floating Support Worker who will support the Ascent Pan London Service in building sustainable referral pathways and joint working protocols with a range of partners working with survivors of domestic abuse.

You will provide capacity-building in the form of advice, advocacy, support, and briefings across the London boroughs to statutory agencies and community organizations around the needs of  domestic abuse survivors, to embed best practice across our communities.

You will have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to women as well as up-to-date knowledge of legislation relating to survivors of gender-based violence. You will have excellent casework skills, good written and verbal communication skills, clear professional boundaries and be a proactive team player.

Our research, Not Just a Checkbox, revealed the many barriers people face. With the help of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we’re turning insight into action through our Parks 4 All project.

We’re looking for an experienced, empathetic and proactive Access & Community Lead to shape and lead this exciting project.

What you’ll do

You’ll lead all aspects of Parks 4 All, working alongside Disabled people, carers, partners and community groups to remove barriers and build lasting change. This includes:

• Developing and launching a national Community Park Access Assessment Toolkit

• Improving online access information for parks across Bristol and Bath

• Supporting the delivery of inclusive park-based activities (with your direct report, our Access & Community Officer)

• Building partnerships and ensuring co-design is at the heart of everything we do

Role Purpose:

The Circle is an alternative to A&E for young people and children who are finding it hard to cope with their mental health, when medical intervention might not be necessary. We provide one-off in the moment support, and we are open every day of the year with no waiting list.

Mental health advisors are part of the core team, supporting children and young people aged 5-18 and their families every day. You are expected to work within HFEH Mind’s policies and procedures, and adhere to our code of conduct/values.

This role will suit those that have worked with vulnerable children in the past, including, but not limited to, support workers, CAMHS workers and mental health workers. We work within a diverse borough, and look to reflect this in our team.

Job Summary:

The mental health advisor role is a key part of the delivery of the Circle, working on the frontline to support young people and their families who are finding it hard to cope. They will conduct hour long, one-off sessions with children and young people aged 5-18, providing: safety planning, coping mechanisms, psychoeducation, and signposting, and supporting in de-escalation. This will be delivered with a non-judgemental and empathetic approach.

As a mental health advisor, you will need to be ready to respond in the moment to presenting (often unknown) concerns. You will have to dynamically risk assess situations, and be confident in raising concerns when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Work as part of a team to provide support to service users and their families.
• Work within the Circle framework, and follow all HFEH Mind’s policies and procedures.
• Develop an understanding of the local area, and other services, to effectively signpost to.
• To deal with all safeguarding concerns in line with HFEH Mind’s safeguarding children policy.
• Take pride in the working environment, keeping it clean and tidy, and reporting any Health and Safety concerns appropriately.
• To utilise skills flexibly and effectively so that support can be tailored in a creative way.

Service Accountability:

• Maintain accurate, clear and concise records of all interactions with children, young people, parents/carers and professionals.
• Attend and engage in mandatory training, as directed by HFEH Mind.
• Ensure all support provided has an inclusive values base, which recognises and respects differences.
• To work collaboratively with all other partners and professionals, and represent HFEH Mind in a positive light.
• Ensure that all support provided  has an inclusive values base which recognises and respects difference and diversity.

Other:

• To attend and engage constructively in 1-1 supervision, team meetings and group reflective practice, where applicable.
• Carry out any additional tasks as required by the Circle or Children and Young People’s Services in consultation with your manager.

Person Specification

Essential

• A minimum of two years’ experience supporting vulnerable children and/or young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, or equivalent.
• An ability to form supportive relationships with families, and tailor support to individual need.
• A child-centred approach to work.
• Working knowledge of child and adult safeguarding
• Organisational skills and excellent time management.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences.
• Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
• Ability to work flexibly according to the needs of the service, whilst managing your own self-care.
• An openness to your approach to colleagues, managers and in 1:1s and reflective practice sessions.
• Experience of using Microsoft Office package.
• Working understanding of General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of equality and diversity issues and the ability to integrate into your work.

Desirable

• Experience of working with CYPs presenting with complex needs, and/or who are neurodiverse.
• Experience in managing relationships with professionals (e.g. schools, education psychologists, early help teams), commissioners and other stakeholders.
• Experience in co-producing activities and campaigns with young people.
• Experience of working within a multi- disciplinary team.
• Experience of supporting young people experiencing episodes of heightened stress/distress.
• Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to tailor messages to a variety of audiences.

We’re looking for a motivated and relationship-driven Project Coordinator (Growth & Engagement) based across Greater Manchester to help us build and sustain impactful partnerships that will grow the reach and visibility of our Dog Champion Scheme.

At Street Paws, we believe that no one should be forced to choose between a safe place to stay and the pet they love. For people experiencing homelessness, a pet can be a vital lifeline — providing emotional support, a sense of safety, and unconditional companionship in the most difficult circumstances.

Sadly, most accommodation services do not allow pets, leaving people with an impossible decision: stay with their pet and remain homeless, or enter housing alone. At Street Paws, we work to remove that barrier through compassionate, practical action.

We support homeless pet owners by:

• Providing free veterinary care and preventative treatment

• Offering essentials like leads, coats, food, and bedding

• Training hostels to become pet-friendly through our Dog Champion Scheme

• Advocating for inclusive housing and service access

Since launching our Dog Champion Scheme, we’ve trained hundreds of hostel staff, supported dozens of services to welcome pets, and helped keep hundreds of people and animals safely together.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about social justice, inclusion, and the human–animal bond — and who is confident in building connections with frontline organisations, community services, and supporters.

As Project Coordinator (Growth & Engagement), you’ll focus on building relationships with new hostels, expanding awareness of our work, and promoting our training programme and online learning platform. You'll also work with existing partners to make sure they feel supported and are continuing to deliver on their commitments to pet-friendly care.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and grow the Dog Champion Scheme by identifying and engaging new partner hostels

• Build and maintain strong relationships with hostel staff, local authorities, housing providers, and referral networks

• Introduce and guide partners through the onboarding and training process

• Deliver clear, engaging communication about the benefits and expectations of becoming a pet-friendly service

• Support the delivery and monitoring of online training through our learning platform

• Collect feedback and stories from the hostels we work with to showcase impact and promote the scheme

• Represent Street Paws at local events, forums, and outreach opportunities across the North of England

• Work closely with the wider team to align delivery with Street Paws’ core values and strategic goals

• Support other areas of our work where needed, including volunteer engagement and public awareness campaigns
