Job description

The Hospitaller is a key role for the St John Priory for Wales and is the key link to the St John Eye Hospital Group (SJEHG).

They will Chair the Eye Hospital Panel (a Committee) that leads national fundraising activities and will spearhead the development of a clinical network for ophthalmology and optometry to underpin the clinical activities and CPD in support of the excellent work of the SJEHG.

This is a dynamic opportunity for someone wishing to make their mark and to forge a close partnership with the SJEHG. The Hospitaller will be able to recruit, inspire, lead and develop the national Eye Hospital Panel taking responsibility across all Wales.

The nature of the role will on occasion require the Hospitaller to work evenings and weekends to attend functions or events and meet volunteers, divisions and St John Councils across Wales.
