If so, you could be the Online Reporting & Systems Administrator we are looking for!

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the BHF Retail Directorate in our growing online retail team. The Online Retail department is an integral commercial arm for the British Heart Foundation (BHF), helping to deliver and grow our income retail strategy, plus the wider organisational strategy of supporting research and innovation, to help people affected by heart and circulatory disease, and drive income growth across our commercial and online retail offerings.

As the Online Reporting & Systems Administrator you will play a key part in supporting both the Head of Online Retail and the Retail Systems & Reporting Manager with the development and analysis of key data to ensure better decision making across all areas of this rapidly growing department.

You will work alongside the wider online retail teams to identify gaps and develop your own ideas and solutions to deliver key reports and analysis to ensure the business needs are met, as well as, supporting the development and improvements to our reporting suite as we connect new systems.

As an integral part of the online retail team, you will work across the largest eBay charity retail in the world as well as our rapidly expanding, Magento based, online shop to develop and deliver operational reporting, carry out business analysis and support our development programme with the delivery of data analysis and business cases.

Please note this role will require you to work some weekends. This is a dual location role, with your working time split between your home and our Leeds Office. This will allow us to unlock our best work for our cause, blending the best of home and office working.

About you

Responsible for analysing, interpreting and making recommendations on a broad range of commercial information, you’ll have demonstrable experience delivering reports, analysis and insights, preferably in retail environment.

You’ll have advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to capture and interpret large data sets from multiple sources. Commercially astute, you’ll have knowledge of online data sources such a Google Analytics & Data Studio and be able to present data for central operations and the wider business to improve efficiency and support the end user.

A creative self-starter you’ll be highly analytical, and detail oriented, with excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Produce clear, concise and legible reports as required
  • Adapt quickly and react to business needs
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel
  • Build trust and communicate effectively to people of all technical abilities
  • Approach problem solving in a disciplined and precise manner
  • Be a strong team player able to work within the team and across the organisation
