Casual Team Leaders
Working across our four friendly Care Homes in London

- Cecil Court (TW9 3DG)
- Homemead (TW11 0AQ)
- Rathmore House (NW3 3EL)
- Compton Lodge (NW3 3BX)

Get immediate income - and lend a helping hand
If you need extra income during this difficult time, then why not lend a hand to the most vulnerable people? We’re seeking suitable staff cover to work at our care homes to look after people aged 65 and over, some of whom have dementia. It’s a challenging time for our care home residents, and if you’re available now/soon, then you can get paid to make a big difference!

C&C has a long-standing Bank scheme, providing work on a shift by shift basis to Team Leaders, Care Assistants, domestic staff and Administrators. We are now growing the scheme to make sure we can fully support our residents in the long term, come what may.

The offer
Our Team Leader’s salary is £21,801 per annum for 37 hours, equivalent to £11.33 per hour. Shifts last for 12 hours and 20 minutes, three days per week and additional shifts are available. We can be flexible to accommodate other lengths of shift, for example covering our busiest times.

Whilst currently we are looking for people to work casual hours, we also have full and part-time permanent roles available. Induction and training will be given.

Who we are
C&C is a forward-thinking and innovative charitable provider of housing, care, and bespoke services exclusively for older people in London. We have 90 years’ experience of retirement home design and living in London. We are very proud of the ‘family’ feel of our homes and our innovative strategies for supporting residents.

Your role as a Team Leader
This would be a perfect opportunity for you if you are already working in a senior care role, or you are looking to take the next step into a role with more responsibility and greater autonomy. Supported by the Home Manager, you will take the lead in supervising a dedicated team of caring professionals, working with them to ensure standards of care are maintained at the highest level and that each resident’s individual needs are met.

With previous experience of providing personal and social care to older people in a residential setting, you will hold a Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care and be able to demonstrate post-qualification learning and development.

About you
An excellent communicator who understands the level of care needed by people with dementia, you will also have a good understanding of the CQC standards for care homes and extensive experience of leading and working within a team.

You will need:
- To have experience of working in a residential care setting
- Demonstrable understanding and experience of administering medication
- An excellent understanding of Personalised Care Plans
- Very good literacy and numeracy skills
- To be compassionate and patient
- To pass our DBS check
