About YAUK
Youth Advantage UK is a charitable organisation that uses a research-led approach to inform policy work and projects that aim to promote and further the human rights of young people aged 11 to 25 across the United Kingdom.
Please note that this is a remote VOLUNTEER role.
We won't accept applications from individuals residing outside of the UK as we operate on the principle of bettering the lives of young people in the UK. Therefore, we require our volunteers to have an understanding of what it is like to live in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the DCEO on matters of urgency and importance to the organisation.
- Manage the agenda for meetings the DCEO holds ensuring all actions are allocated for actioning
- Sign post management across the organisation as required
- Handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Organizing and coordinating meetings, appointments, and events to ensure efficient time management for the DCEO
- Handling Communications: Acting as the first point of contact for the DCEO, managing correspondence.
- Preparing reports, presentations, and other documents needed for meetings and decision-making.
- Assisting with various administrative tasks such as record-keeping and office management.
- Coordinating specific tasks as assigned by the DCEO
- Acting as a bridge between the DCEO and other senior management, ensuring smooth communication

RANGER CADETS is a brand new start up uniformed youth work organisation dedicated to preparing young people for life. Through service, ceremony, community, and structured training, we help cadets grow in confidence, resilience, and pride. About the Role
As the Clinical Lead for Nursing & Midwifery, you will:
- Provide national clinical leadership and support the implementation of clinical strategies.
- Develop methods to recruit, retain and support the work of nurses, midwives, health visitors, nursing associates, associate practitioners, and students within St John Ambulance Cymru - including integrating them into frontline practice.
- Lead on infection prevention and control, regulatory compliance, and clinical governance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive quality improvement and best practice.
- Participate in senior clinical advisory duties and contribute to forums, reviews, and consultations.
- Line manage healthcare professionals and support their professional development.
You’ll work closely with the Deputy Chief Clinical Officer and other National Clinical Leads, ensuring our services remain safe, compliant, and of high quality.

Histiocytosis UK are seeking Expressions of Interest from Parents, Patients and Professionals for positions on the Advisory Panel to the Board of Trustees.
Advisory Panel Members are appointed for one year, attending a minimum of 2 meetings (one in person and one virtual). Their role is to help steer the charity to ensure that no one should die of histiocytosis and to represent patients and professionals in the histiocytosis field. Advisory Panel members can apply to join the Board of Trustees ( for two years). The current vacancies have arisen because some members have come to the end of their terms of service.
The APM appointments are to the General Portfolio Team, we would also be particularly interested to hear from those who would be happy to take up either Financial/Banking or Scientific Research Portfolios should they be offered the opportunity to join the Board of Trustees.
