Job Title: Impact Manager

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Young Hammersmith & Fulham as we implement our recently approved Impact Measurement Framework. The Impact Manager will design and implement measurement systems that track progress against our strategic themes while building a stronger evidence base for the youth sector across the borough. This role will act as an impact catalyst (a change agent who drives outcome-focused thinking) for both Young H & F and its members, contributing to a 'culture of impact' where outcome measurement becomes routine and is embedded throughout our network.

Key Details

• Line Manager: Chief Executive Officer
• Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 pro rata (dependent on experience)
• Location: Hybrid -- Ed City Campus, Hammersmith & Fulham, and remote working (with regular on-site presence at Young H & F office and member locations)
• Contract: 12 months with potential for extension; Part-time (16-24 hours per week)
• Annual Leave: 25 days per year (pro rata) plus bank holidays and the Christmas closure period

Key Responsibilities

Core Functions

System Design & Implementation

• Develop a comprehensive measurement system aligned with Young H & F's strategic themes and SMART targets (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound goals)
• Create user-friendly data collection tools and templates for member organisations
• Establish baseline engagement metrics for all 100+ members and implement regular Net Promoter Score tracking
• Design and launch a pilot impact measurement programme across five member organisations

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Lead creation of quarterly insight reports and annual impact reports for stakeholders
• Develop compelling data visualisations and reporting formats for diverse audiences (trustees, funders, members, young people)
• Interpret data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to inform operational decisions

• Support team reporting to partners and funders

Member Engagement & Capacity Building

• Champion the value of impact measurement among member organisations
• Develop practical guidance materials and "low investment, high impact" data collection approaches that respect members' time constraints
• Support integration of outcome measurement into daily activities and member visits
• Design flexible delivery options for training and support (in-person and virtual)

About the role
As Participation Manager, you will lead on engaging children, young people and families from Tower Hamlets with lived experience of poverty in our work, ensuring their insights and voices drive the design and delivery of our projects and campaigns. You'll work closely with local communities, partners and internal teams to create safe, inclusive spaces for meaningful participation, helping to build power and influence for those often left unheard. Your work will be instrumental in shaping Save the Children UK's efforts to end child poverty.

This role will also require approximately 2 days per week working with community partners in Tower Hamlets.

In this role, you will: 

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with children, families, and community partners in local areas to enable meaningful, safe participation in our work.

Join Dementia UK as a Academy Learning Support Officer and be part of a team dedicated to improving the lives of families affected by dementia through the learning and development of Admiral Nurses.

Working closely with the Admiral Nurse Academy Support Manager and wider team, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality learning opportunities through our learning management system, Blackboard. This includes assisting the Virtual Learning Environment Design Officer in designing and building online courses and modules, supporting with storyboarding, content organisation and the development of interactive activities. You will use digital tools such as Articulate, Vyond and Padlet to help create engaging, accessible e-learning materials. You will also contribute to planning and progress meetings with the Academy team and subject matter experts.

You will help maintain our external-facing Dementia UK Academy platform, currently in development, by managing content updates, registrations, learner queries and event support. As first-line support for learners, you will also troubleshoot basic technical issues.

In addition, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of Admiral Nurse Academy activities such as webinars, masterclasses and both internal and external online events. This will include assisting with scheduling, coordinating logistics, updating project trackers and communicating with Admiral Nurses, learners and key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience supporting the design and delivery of online learning content, with a good working knowledge of platforms such as Blackboard and digital tools including Articulate, Padlet and Vyond. You will be confident working collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders and have project coordination or management skills, along with the ability to use or a willingness to learn project management software.

The Kennington Association (KA) is a registered charity and active community organisation based in North Lambeth. In 2013, the KA rescued the historic Lollard Street Adventure Playground (LSAP) from impending closure, brought on by local government spending cuts. With sustained funding from leading grant makers, the playground has since gone from strength to strength, winning Coolest Place to Play in the 2015 London Play Adventure Play Awards. This role’s primary purpose is to identify the needs of RDA participants, leading the implementation of innovative and relevant participation-centred programmes resulting in increased and sustained participation.

The National Programme Manager will identify, develop and bring to market good practice from across the RDA network, developing, launching and monitoring programmes.

They will enable participation programmes to be activated within multiple environments including RDA Groups and RDA Approved Centres working collaboratively across RDA Teams and British Equestrian (BEF) Member Bodies.

• Bring the RDA vision to life by creating programmes that have real, measurable impact and sustained outcomes for participants.

Collaboration and Expertise

• Act as the subject matter expert for all things related to participation programmes, keeping knowledge fresh and relevant, with inclusion and accessibility front of mind.
• Work in collaboration with the coaching team to ensure we develop coaching programmes and materials that underpin the delivery of participant programmes.
• Support the Fundraising Team at events (e.g. Badminton Horse Trials, London International Horse Show) to ensure the visibility and impact of our participation programmes.
• Ensure awareness of trends and shifts in the wider landscape, using data and insight to adapt programmes so they continue to meet the needs of all communities we serve.
• Be an active and positive member of the Participation Team—collaborating, connecting, and contributing to high team performance and inclusive working practices.
• Work with Communications and EDI colleagues to ensure programmes are visible, inclusive, and accessible at every stage.
• Support the Communications and Fundraising Teams to convey how RDA programmes improve lives, highlighting their power to deliver social, physical, and personal development outcomes for all participants.
• Provide support, knowledge and education for the RDA network to establish relations with schools, local authorities and other community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & income generation 

· Trusts & grants: Research, write, and submit compelling funding applications to trusts, foundations, and grant-making bodies to secure new and repeat funding.

· Corporate & individual giving: Work alongside Service Delivery Manager and Deputy Service Manager to develop relationships with corporate sponsors and individual donors, creating engagement opportunities.

Essential skills & experience

· Fundraising knowledge: Understanding of trust, foundation, and corporate fundraising, with proven experience of writing successful grant applications.

STOPAIDS is a UK-based network with over 30 years of experience in the HIV response, and which also works more broadly across global health. We are part of a global movement aiming to address the systemic causes of health inequity, end AIDS, and ensure everyone can access their right to health and well-being. By providing decision-makers with both evidence and advocacy, we drive informed, just decisions that improve access to treatment, prevention, care, and support for HIV and other health conditions.

About the role

STOPAIDS mobilises civil society, parliamentarians, the public and the media to influence decision-makers in the UK and globally on the advocacy impact areas outlined in our 2022-2025 strategy.

In partnership with senior leadership, the Media and Communications Manager will oversee the design and implementation of STOPAIDS' organisational-wide media and communications strategy that amplifies STOPAIDS’ impact and reputation across our key advocacy areas. This work includes providing media and communications guidance, coordination and delivery support to our joint advocacy projects with partners.

Our joint advocacy projects are subject to change, but currently include the Digital Health and Rights Project, the UK Civil Society working group on the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, the UK Civil Society working group for Unitaid and a new coalition to advocate on the future of the global health architecture.

The Media and Communications Manager will support STOPAIDS and our joint advocacy projects to achieve our advocacy objectives through identifying strategic media opportunities, managing relationships with media outlets, and securing external media coverage. They will also work with staff and partners to develop relevant high-quality media products and to develop and manage online communications content for our key social media and website platforms.

As a capable team leader, the Media and Communications Manager provides expert guidance to staff and partners, is comfortable coordinating and facilitating working groups and supports the leadership of people living with and affected by HIV. They also work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure that media and communications strategies are aligned and complementary with other organisational strategies and priorities.

As with all STOPAIDS staff, and in partnership with the CEO and the Director for Development & Engagement, they will work to ensure the sustainability of the organisation by contributing 10% of their time to fundraising (to support with application and report writing) and other advocacy support.

The role has a six-month probation period.

Role Summary

Development Group generates philanthropic and sponsorship income to help us create a Natural History Museum for the future – investing in capital development, attaining vital acquisitions for the collection, transforming our galleries, developing innovative exhibitions and undertaking ground-breaking scientific research on issues that affect us all.

Reporting into the Head of Resources & Planning, this role provides the opportunity to join a Development operations team in driving forward the exciting, ambitious and transformational NHM150 campaign.  You will have the opportunity to be innovative and proactive, as well as utilise your creativity, project management and organisational skills to oversee donor recognition and ensure we are providing a consistent and best in sector experience for our donors and partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Stewardship and supporter journey

• Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Corporate Partnerships, lead the development of a structured, overarching stewardship programme that works across the Museum. Take a supporter journey approach and ensure the programme includes a creative and innovative range of benefits and recognition to foster well-managed, mutually beneficial and lasting relationships with funders.
• Coordinate stewardship efforts and work with colleagues to produce tailored stewardship plans.
• Provide strategic and day-to-day advice and guidance to staff on stewardship.

Funder recognition

• Work with the Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships departments to ensure a cohesive approach to the funder benefits matrix and recognition and acknowledgement.
• Advise and lead on funder inclusion with event and event material including, speeches, invites and associated thanking moments
• Lead on the creation and implementation of a funder recognition strategy for each major project and giving mechanism, ensuring consistency with the Museum’sdeli Naming and Recognition Policy and including, but not limited to, funder boards and naming opportunities.
• Lead for Development on work with the Design, Comms, Marketing and Digital team to develop agreed frameworks and ‘lock-ups’ for the NHM’s brand and visual identity. Create agreed procedures to ensure sign-off by all parties which is effective and well-communicated.

Communications and reporting

• Support colleagues in researching, writing and producing high-quality impact reports for funders in line with Deeds of Gift, contracts and other agreements.
• Support the creation of the Museum’s Annual Review, Annual Report and similar impact reporting; ensuring appropriate funder recognition.
• Manage the annual Season’s Greetings cards creation and distribution

Other responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse group of Museum stakeholders, to ensure stewardship plans and activities are successfully coordinated and delivered.
• Responsible for oversight of Supporter Cards for key Development supporters, working with the Database team to create and distribute.
• Develop a strong knowledge of sector best practice through networking, benchmarking against comparable institutions, identifying and undertaking training and development opportunities, and where appropriate implement these best practices at the Museum.
• Record essential information accurately and appropriately, using Development Group systems and the Raiser’s Edge database. This includes tracking agreed and live negotiations for funder recognition and commitments on major projects.

• Significant experience in a fundraising / funder management role, or similar project management experience
• A strong working knowledge of the role of stewardship in the not-for-profit or cultural sectors, with the ability to initiate and manage stewardship activities.

The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of a group of three specialist services, which support a total of seven customers with moderate to high support needs to live in their own homes. It’s been a successful few years for PCR’s Events team with good results across the portfolio, raising over £1.4m (against a target of £800k) in 2023-24 and more than £2.3m in 2024-25 (against a target of £1.7m). The team structure has recently been refreshed, bringing in new roles to ease capacity and ensure the whole team can do their best work – contributing to PCR’s lifesaving mission, developing in their careers and enjoying their jobs within our ambitious and supportive team. 

This role is a new position within the structure, created to focus on our growing third-party events portfolio, an area which is performing well across the sector and deserves more attention. It is an important role which will oversee the innovation, planning and delivery of all third-party events, whilst taking a leading role on wider infrastructure development for the team.

We are keen to work together to develop & shape this into an exciting and meaningful role for you. At PCR, we prioritise our team members’ development, and there will be a % of time available to work on other areas of the portfolio for development and interest. However, your main focus will be: 

Strategy, project management and income growth 

• Create and lead the strategy to maximise the value of PCR’s third-party challenge events portfolio, working with the Head of E&C and others to take a long-term view and build this area into a sustainable & growing income stream. 

• Oversee the project management of all third-party events, including the London & Brighton Marathons (and other new events as they are introduced), working with the E&C Executives to ensure targets are met and best practice delivered. 

• Design and deliver ambitious fundraising budgets for your projects which contribute net income towards PCR’s mission. 

• Build good relationships with suppliers, venues, agencies and consultants to ensure great value. 

• Oversee the stewardship of fundraisers, ensuring journeys are relevant & engaging and continuously improved.

• Work with the other Events team managers to contribute to the planning & delivery of other activity areas. 

Product development and innovation 

• Seize the opportunity to grow & improve PCR’s third-party event portfolio, staying up to date with sector trends, identifying new journeys, suppliers & products, and taking a test & learn approach, always ensuring that learnings are captured. For this, there will be realistic budgets & an understanding of the investment needed for new ideas. 

• Develop approaches to engage supporters beyond their initial participation, working with Public Fundraising colleagues & others to test cross-selling journeys and maximise the life-time value of third-party event fundraisers. 

• Maintain a strong level of understanding of PCR’s existing (and target) supporters to create and implement products & stewardship that motivate and inspire them. 

• Alongside the Head of E&C and other Events team managers, embed a culture of innovation and supporter insight. 

• Proactively collaborate internally, working with other teams to identify opportunities which meet PCR’s objectives, including with the Partnerships team to ensure the development & delivery of an employee fundraising programme. 

• Take the lead in developing processes and infrastructure across the Events team that improve efficiency, compliance and best practice, working with other team members to prioritise and deliver this work. 

Team leadership  

• Alongside the other Events team managers, supervise the relevant day-to-day work of the Events & Community Executives to ensure that the projects you are working on together are carried out effectively. 

• Work closely with the Head of E&C and the other Events team managers on team strategy and capacity planning. 

• Work with the team to embed our agile ways of working, modelling the principle of collective responsibility. 

• Attend and contribute to meetings, sharing new ideas and learnings that might be useful for the wider team. 

• Work with the Head of E&C and other Events team managers to embed and model PCR’s organisational values: innovation, collaboration, accountability and championing the patient voice. 

The Events & Community Manager may also get involved with other projects and tasks as appropriate to support Public Fundraising activities. Attendance may be required at some weekend and evening events, for which TOIL will be given.

Skills and Competencies 

Our ideal candidate would be proactive team player, with: 

• A willingness to get stuck in, eager to learn and strong sense of personal accountability. 

• Confident event and project management skills, including end-to-end planning, budgeting & results tracking. 

• An understanding and (ideally) experience of third-party challenge events or similar peer-to-peer fundraising activity. 

• The ability to see opportunities and drive progress in existing events – and finding our next successful ones!

• An ability to oversee others’ work, delegate & give feedback effectively, and to take a leadership role within the team. 

• Excellent organisational skills & an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, identifying the most valuable use of time 

• Great communication and stakeholder management skills.

• The ability to motivate and inspire a range of audiences through relationship building and storytelling.

• Good attention to detail and IT Skills. 

• A strong belief in the work we do at PCR and committed to PCR’s values.

London Play is seeking a part-time Partnership Fundraiser to lead on securing income to support its vital work, in particular through strengthening and developing its partnership with London Play Design. This is a flexible and autonomous role, ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in fundraising strategy, relationship-building, and making grant applications.

Job Description

We seek a skilled and proactive fundraiser to support LP in submitting funding applications to support its partnership with LPD and developing long-term fundraising capacity. The first key task will be to collaborate with both organisations to create a strategic fundraising plan aligned with our programmes, with a strong emphasis on championing play and supporting adventure playgrounds in continuing their essential community work.

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to secure income from a diverse range of sources; and researching, identifying, developing and submitting funding applications and proposals to relevant trusts, foundations and other grant-making bodies.

The ideal applicant will have at least five years’ experience in fundraising, donor development, or grant writing – ideally including partnership arrangements – as well as a demonstrable understanding of the value of play and the outcomes it contributes to for children and for communities. They will be highly organised, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to achieve income targets and meet application deadlines.
