This is a pivotal and exciting new role, with huge scope and freedom to diversify and generate income for the Trust.
You will support the charity’s financial sustainability by diversifying revenue streams through partnerships, unrestricted fundraising initiatives and other income-generating opportunities.
You will be responsible for building a strong and sustainable supporter base by working with a range of funders including trusts, foundations and corporate sponsors, building and maintaining lasting relationships.
We are looking for someone with experience in generating income and our ideal candidate will be engaging, proactive, dynamic, determined and enthusiastic with the ability to win hearts and minds.

BACKGROUND
Our work has never been more needed. The latest research suggesting that the number of children and young people at risk of hunger has rocketed to 2.6 million* means that one in five children don't have enough to eat.When a child is too hungry to learn, when they’re aching for something to eat, they can’t concentrate. They can’t absorb information. Big feelings and worries can be impossible to control. They fall behind in their studies.
Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 300,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma. Magic Breakfast are ambitious to grow our impact to remove hunger as a barrier to learning for all children and young people in the UK.
This is an exciting time to join Magic Breakfast if you wish to make a difference to the lives of children as we work to influence both policy implementation, with the national rollout of primary-aged universal school breakfast, and legislative change, through the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill. There has also been commitment from the Scottish Government for a national breakfast scheme and we are seeking to expand our advocacy work into Wales. Magic Breakfast’s influence will be instrumental to ensuring school breakfasts are implemented in a way that is hunger-focused and barrier free.
In addition, thousands of secondary school children are at risk of losing their free school breakfasts from September next year. For many of these students, this is their only opportunity to have a nutritious meal before facing a demanding school day, including taking exams. And for the very youngest, we know that the disadvantage gap begins before they even reach reception. With the Government commitment to another 100,000 places in school-based nurseries, early years is also a critical part of our advocacy work.

JOB PURPOSE
The Fundraising and Development department is responsible for ensuring Magic Breakfast’s on-going sustainability through the generation of income and other critical non-financial support. The Department Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Fundraising and Development and other members of the Fundraising Leadership to facilitate closer alignment across the department, help unlock and enable income growth, whilst also providing administrative and coordination support to the team more broadly. The successful candidate will also play a critical role in developing and delivering the department-wide calendar of stewardship events, working with colleagues from across the major gifts team to identify opportunities to connect our supporters even further with the impact of our work
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Department Coordination

Work closely with the Director of Fundraising to coordinate effective planning and management of the Fundraising & Development (F&D) strategy by coordinating quarterly review and monthly Core Management Group (CMG) meetings and managing all aspects of the monthly F&D team meetings ensuring they have maximum impact for all individuals and the organisation. This includes managing actions, minutes and agendas

Support with the planning, coordination and diary management for any department away days, planning or reflection sessions

Lead efforts to enhance synergies within and across the F&D and other departments, identifying and enabling opportunities to add value, enhance efficiencies and reduce siloed working, for example through reviewing current systems and facilitating opportunities for collaboration and support

Provide project management support for significant team level projects, including developing project timelines and plans using Asana (e.g., for the Magic Morning webinars process and the department’s involvement in giving campaigns or annual reports)

Work across the department to identify any gaps or updates required for process/ ‘how-to’ documents

Act as the department representative for Asana, systems and process champion, providing training to colleagues where necessary

Act as the department lead for other key internal groups such as the all staff away day.
Supporter Care
-
Support the Fundraising Officer where necessary to act as the key welcome point to people reaching out to support Magic Breakfast, responding to enquiries received on the phone, escalating and triaging queries where necessary.

With support from across the Department, develop and deliver a calendar of department wide engagement events, including group school visits, stakeholder events, thought leadership dinners, and our online ‘Magic Mornings’ - a speaker series where we invite funders to hear more about our work.

Lead on the planning, review and learning capture/ sharing for all events, and more broadly the stewardship calendar across the department.

Work across the department to review cross-departmental stewardship and identify opportunities for improvement, collaboration and alignment to key objectives, either through events or other activities.

Ensure that all confidential donor data is stored and handled in accordance with data protection regulations and all records retained on Salesforce where required.
Fundraising Administration

Provide general administration support to the Fundraising & Development department, working in collaboration with the admin network across the organisation. Potential tasks may include but are not limited to meeting logistics, booking venues for away days and accommodation/travel bookings

Develop and maintain accurate and efficient administration systems and tools to support the department, for example our intranet section

Manage the Department’s resources and order supplies

Assist the Gifts Officer with gift processing when required, including the processing of cheques, sending acknowledgements, and adding gifts to our CRM, Salesforce

Administrative support to the Director of Fundraising and Development as required, including pulling reports and occasional diary management

Ad-hoc support to other team members.

Support the department with scoping and research for new fundraising products or initiatives

Make purchases on behalf of the Fundraising and Development department in adherence with internal budget approval processes and delegation of authority

We are searching for an experienced fundraiser to drive and grow Individual Giving income streams, currently worth around £800,000 annually to the Charity. The postholder will oversee campaigns including Regular Giving, In Memory Giving, Lottery, Raffles, and Appeals, while managing donor stewardship, acquisition, and retention. With a small and high-performing team to support you, you'll lead on budgeting, data management, and help shape the future of fundraising.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing income and expenditure budgets, monitor ROI, lead reforecasting efforts, and support the development of long-term financial plans.
- Lead innovative fundraising initiatives, exploring new opportunities (including digital) and refreshing existing campaigns in collaboration with Marketing and Communications.

You will bring a proven track record of securing income through the development and delivery of successful fundraising campaigns. You'll bring experience in building donor relationships, strategic planning, and hitting ambitious targets. Strong analytical skills, and experience with CRM or fundraising databases are essential, as is the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You'll bring excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, as well as experience in budget and resource planning. - Prepare timely project report templates and reports on the outcomes of donor and funder support
- Support the Senior Development Manager with ongoing prospect research
- Lead on the identification and cultivation of appropriate corporate sponsors, devising carefully tailored and convincing proposals to secure additional funding
- Support with the delivery of a creative programme of cultivation and stewardship events for donors, funders and prospects
- Represent Nottingham Contemporary at internal and external private views, previews, meetings and events
The Person
We're looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to write compelling cases for support. The ideal candidate will be innovative, pro-active and able to adapt easily as a creative problem-solver. A team player, you'll relish working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
You’ll have a track record in fundraising or relationship management in the not for profit, cultural or other relevant sectors, in particular with trusts and foundations. You’ll have the ability to manage a busy workload to meet agreed deadlines, and your excellent organisational and project management skills will come in handy when organising a range of cultivation and stewardship events for donors, funders and prospects.

The Talent Set are partnering with a brilliant charity to recruit for a Senior Individual Giving & Legacies Manager, leading the retention programme and a team of 5 to generate significant income across Appeals, Regular Giving and Legacy income streams. This role has a flexible hybrid working environment, with 1-2 days per month working in their offices in East Anglia.
Key duties include:
- Oversee the development and implementation of Supporter Retention and Legacy strategies and budgets for the charity, including mid-value, gaming and in-memory programmes.
- Assist with the strategic development of the charity’s overall Individual Giving strategy to maximise voluntary income and support.
- Optimise donor engagement journeys across online and offline channels to increase the lifetime value of donors and legacy prospects.
- Manage and monitor a range of direct marketing campaigns, including direct mail, telemarketing, OOH and digital, ensuring all campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure effective relationships with external agencies and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of the charity’s direct marketing programmes.
We’re looking for the following skills and experience:
- Extensive experience of leading a diverse range of direct marketing campaigns across online & offline channels, working to agreed budgets and targets.
- Demonstrable track record of developing supporter retention plans, including appeals, regular giving and mid-value campaigns.
- A strong eye for data and analytics, with the ability to enable insight-led development and measurement of strategies and campaigns.
- Experience of leading individual giving teams and raising income upwards of £1M.

The Mill is a small scale multi-art form venue with big ambitions. Situated in the North Oxfordshire market town of Banbury, it is the focus of cultural life as the only public arts and performance venue in the Cherwell District.
Our 237-seat theatre plays host to high quality professional theatre, dance, comedy and music productions, whilst supporting opportunities for local community arts organisations to work and perform in a professional space. Our studio facilities offer a packed creative learning and participation programme focusing on both the visual and performing arts, covering everything from jewellery making to yoga, watercolour painting to creative writing and much more in between. Responsibilities
Fundraising Strategy & Innovation:
- Design and deliver a fundraising strategy that scales ProVeg’s income from major donors, climate (and other relevant) foundations, and institutional funders.
- Identify and pursue new revenue streams aligned with our climate and food system mission.
Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our theory of change, donor engagement frameworks, and funding cases.
Donor & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivate and steward relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, corporate contacts and strategic partners.
- Represent ProVeg in donor meetings and high-level external events.
- Support the Senior Leadership Team and President in managing key donor relationships.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and grow the international fundraising function to increase income, capacity, and global reach.
- Drive team culture and performance, fostering professional development and a focus on measurable outcomes.
Cross-Organisational Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Communications, Programme, Finance, MEL, and Country teams to strengthen our fundraising infrastructure, materials, and processes.
- Ensure effective fundraising data management and internal reporting systems.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of senior-level fundraising experience, ideally with major donors and foundations in the US and/or Europe.
- Proven track record of securing six-figure + gifts, including new donor acquisition and multi-year commitments.
- Deep understanding of the climate philanthropy and/or food system transformation space.
- Experience working in international NGOs or with cross-country fundraising collaboration.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across sectors and cultures.
- Strong writing and proposal development skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building systems, not just managing them.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (minimum C2-level English).
- Strong analytical skills and experience measuring the success of fundraising activities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with effective altruism and impact-led giving.
- Comfortable engaging in discussions around equity, justice, and sustainability in fundraising contexts.

The Salvation Army, the UK’s leading social welfare charity, is seeking a direct marketing expert to lead its newly formed Supporter Acquisition and Innovation Unit and provide strategic leadership, direction, and management of the annual acquisition programme.

The Assistant Head of Individual Giving is a key, senior role in the Individual Giving Section, overseeing the development and delivery of multi-channel direct marketing activities that inspire and motivate many thousands of new contactable supporters to join the charity’s donor base each year. The post also leads the development and implementation of new acquisition products from concept to launch and meeting an initial annual fundraising target of approximately £500,000. The Development Manager supports the delivery of Worthing Theatres & Museum’s (WTM) fundraising strategy across a broad range of income streams, including trusts and foundations, public funding, individual giving and corporate sponsorship.

Role Overview
The successful candidate will be involved in leading and co-ordinating the delivery of Crohn’s & Colitis UK’s research strategy including our programme of grants, and our work to support increased patient and public involvement in research. They will work with the Director of Services & Evidence and Head of Evidence & Research to support the charity’s involvement with external research bodies and contribute to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects, helping to influence and meet our strategic objectives.
About You
We are looking for someone who has proven experience of delivering successful research funding and patient and public involvement research activities. The successful candidate must be adept at establishing and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders and comfortable working with operational performance metrics, and implementing strategies and objectives for the organisation. Ideally your background will be in health care or working in a medical charity and you’ll be educated to degree level or equivalent. Given this role will involve managing and providing leadership to the Research team, prior management experience would be an advantage. Whilst not essential, a knowledge of the needs of people affected by Crohn’s and Colitis would be beneficial also.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although there will be times when you will need to travel to events/conferences. You will be required to attend two Directorate days each year and occasional face-to-face meetings with your team or our partner agencies. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.
