What you’ll do:
✅ Running a large, high density shop efficiently and profitably, maximising sales, Gift Aid, and round-up donations
✅ Managing visual merchandising, stock rotation, and product display to the highest standards
✅ Overseeing the effective sorting, pricing, and presentation of donated goods
✅ Leading and inspiring a team including an Assistant Manager (3 days/week), a Sales Assistant, and a team of volunteers
✅ Organising staff and volunteer rotas to ensure adequate cover, including on weekends
✅ Providing excellent customer service and handling queries or complaints professionally
✅ Monitoring financial performance, managing shop expenses, and ensuring compliance with audit and cash handling processes
✅ Ensuring full compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, GDPR, and equality policies
✅ Acting as an ambassador for the charity in the local community and supporting fundraising events

The Operations Manager is a senior leadership role with Home-Start Wandsworth, responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness of the organisation. They will work closely with the Managing Director, and other members of the leadership team, to ensure the success and long term sustainability of the charity.
The role oversees the operational functions of the charity including HR, IT and Finance, as well as support of service development projects. The role also requires project management of grant applications, delivery and reporting, and plays a pivotal role in shaping how we measure, communicate and enhance the impact of our work. Key Responsibilities:
Leadership

● Deliver a regular report to the Board on performance against grants and trusts.
Team Management
● Provide direction to the Business Support Administrator to enable effective and efficient running of the organisation.
● Manage staff and freelancers according to the Home-Start Wandsworth procedures, policies and values.

Role Overview
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Property Department
Coordinator to provide high-level executive support to the Director of Property and coordination
across the department. This pivotal role will combine Executive Assistant responsibilities with
departmental coordination, ensuring the smooth running of operations, the effective flow of
information, and the delivery of accurate data and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Director of Property and two Heads of Function, whose specialist
teams manage the organisation’s diverse property portfolio. You will play a key role in preparing
materials for the Board of Trustees, coordinating the quarterly Property Committee, and
supporting departmental projects.

Executive Assistant to the Director of Property
- Manage the Director’s diary, meetings, and travel arrangements.

Department Coordination

measure performance. - Collaborate with both the Head of IT and the Sustainability and Impact Lead, to develop

Board and Committee Support - Coordinate quarterly Property Committee meetings: arrange logistics, prepare and
circulate papers, and take accurate minutes. - Work with the Director to prepare papers and reports for the Board of Trustees.

Essential:

Background information
The Director of Business Development is primarily focussed on growing commercial opportunities and engaging at a strategic partnership and corporate level. Full-time 37 hours per week.
Birmingham LGBT is seeking to recruit a full-time LGBT IDVA covering Birmingham and the West Midlands to ensure that LGBT victims/survivors of domestic violence have access to an IDVA who will offer support, signposting, advocacy, risk management and safety planning.

Main Duties
·Provide independent advocacy and support to LGBT survivors of domestic violence.
·Work with survivors from the point of crisis and offer intensive support to help ensure short-term and long-term safety.
·Maintain multi-agency links and partnerships through protocols and procedures that prioritise the safety of survivors of domestic violence.
·Empower service users by providing them with emotional and practical support, thus enabling them to access their rights, empowering them to make decisions and increasing their life options.
·Inform survivors of full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.
Casework Management
·To advise and support LGBT survivors of domestic violence.
·To undertake advocacy casework, working with survivors following an initial assessment of their needs, working within a structured key-working relationship.
·To provide one-to-one-emotional, practical, legal and advocacy support to survivors through the development of an individual support plan, including risk assessments, safety planning and assistance in accessing other relevant services such as the police, counselling, housing, and legal services.
·To support LGBT survivors of domestic violence who are going through the criminal justice system.
·To develop and maintain good working relationships and links with other agencies, referring service users to appropriate specialist agencies where necessary as part of a support plan and in consultation with them.
·To ensure that any issues in relation to child or adult protection concerns are responded to in line with Birmingham LGBT’s policies and are brought to the immediate attention of the line manager.
·To deliver training on LGBT domestic violence.
·To work within Birmingham LGBT’s policies and procedures.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Information Management
·To participate in the collection and maintenance of information on relevant referral agencies and local services.
·To ensure high quality and effective statistical monitoring is undertaken at all times in accordance with Birmingham LGBT’s procedures.
·To produce monitoring reports as requested by the Office of the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner.

Core Purpose:
The Head of Public Fundraising is a pivotal strategic leadership role at Make-A-Wish UK, responsible for the strategic direction, planning, delivery, long-term growth and performance of all public fundraising and supporter engagement activity.
This includes strategic oversight of all public income streams - individual giving (cash, regular giving, lottery, payroll), legacies, in-memory giving, challenge events, community fundraising, owned products, and innovation—as well as operational leadership of the Supporter Care team, which manages supporter care, income processing, data imports, and inbound queries for the whole organisation.
The role leads a multi-disciplinary team of around 20, across four core public fundraising and engagement functions, who are responsible for delivery of a high-performing public fundraising programme and sector-leading supporter care function - acquiring, engaging, and retaining supporters at scale, growing income sustainably and ensuring every interaction reflects Make-A-Wish’s values and drives long-term income growth.

Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in public fundraising, with a strong track record of income growth across a broad portfolio of income streams (e.g. individual giving, legacies, community, events, innovation, lottery).

Salary: £63,372 (pro-rated to £57,738 based on 41 working weeks)

The Role
This is more than just a job — it’s a chance to be part of a multidisciplinary team that’s transforming lives. You’ll deliver psychological assessments providing expert consultation, guidance, and training across our education settings and external schools, helping staff create environments where every child can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering specialist psychological reports for key stakeholders and professionals within the wider network.
- Using applied psychology to co-create strategies that remove barriers to learning for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and needs analyses to ensure tailored, effective support.
- Collaborating in our Trust-wide Clinical MDT, contributing to supervision, and engaging in quarterly learning spaces.
- Supporting and mentoring Assistant Psychologists, and helping shape training placements for future Educational Psychologists.
- Delivering inspiring training programmes within the Trust and to external partners.
- Upholding the highest professional standards (BPS and HCPC) and committing to ongoing professional development.
- Helping raise the profile of our Therapy and Specialist Support Services through learning papers and wider professional engagement.
About You
You’re a confident, compassionate professional who thrives on collaboration and innovation. You’ll bring:
- A Doctorate in Educational Psychology and HCPC registration.
- Significant post-qualification experience supporting children and young people in educational settings.
- Expertise working with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of current educational systems and SEND frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with staff, parents, carers, and professionals.
