Background
The Head of Supported Housing - Somerset is a critical role which will provide leadership of our supported accommodation service in Somerset called Thrive 16+. Thrive 16+ is a service which offers housing related support and accommodation for young people in care and care leavers. It also supports young people who are homeless.
This service is for young people aged between 16 and 25 and is delivered across Glastonbury, Street, Frome, and Yeovil.
This role will also be the Ofsted registered manager, and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Job Purpose
As Head of Supported Housing – Somerset, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Thrive 16+ service, delivering 95 units of supported accommodation for young people aged 16–25 across East and South Somerset.
Thrive 16+ exists to transform the lives of young people who are leaving care or experiencing homelessness. Through safe accommodation, trauma-informed support, and aspirational pathways into independence, the service enables young people to build confidence, develop life skills and pursue their ambitions.
This service is central to YMCA Brunel Group’s mission. As a senior leader, you will shape its future direction, ensuring the service delivers exceptional outcomes for young people while maintaining strong partnerships with Somerset Council and other key stakeholders.

Role Summary
The Outreach Manager is responsible for driving the expansion of the Schools Consent Project’s reach, engagement, and impact across London and the South East. Acting as the organisation’s lead “sales” and business development professional, you will contribute to and manage our strong pipeline of partner schools and organisations, convert leads into confirmed bookings, and maximise long-term engagement.

There are two parts to the Primary Science Mentor role. The majority of the role will focus on strengthening primary science teaching and leadership by leading our third Priority Areas initiative in North-West England. You’ll oversee a team of three Legacy Officers, providing expert guidance, coaching and performance management while maintaining accountability for a portfolio of around 900 active cases. What You’ll Do

Skills & Experience Needed

- Demonstrable experience managing contentious and complex legacy cases, including litigation and dispute resolution.
- Advanced technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts, tax and estate administration across multiple UK jurisdictions.
- Strong commercial mindset, able to assess risk, analyse costs and make confident, informed decisions.
- High-volume caseload management experience, with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
- Excellent stakeholder management, able to influence solicitors, executors, co-beneficiaries and internal teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially when reviewing legal documentation, estate accounts and financial information.

About the role
We’re looking for an Operations Team Leader with supervisory and process improvement experience to join our Income Operations Team.
This role sits at the core of our income and fundraising operations, ensuring the systems and processes that underpin our supporters’ journeys are efficient, accurate and high‑quality. You’ll be responsible for keeping central income workflows running smoothly—from processing and reconciling income, to managing supporter data, Gift Aid compliance, fulfilment, and other essential activities that enable our fundraising teams to succeed and our supporters to have a great experience.
You’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement, helping identify challenges, shape solutions and embed better ways of working across the charity. As someone who champions best practice, compliance and operational excellence, you’ll support colleagues in understanding upcoming business requirements including the implementation of D365 as our new CRM.
People leadership is also central to the role. You’ll share responsibility for managing and developing the Operations team, supporting their daily workflow, training and professional growth. The Clinical & Research Lead role provides senior clinical leadership across Together for Short Lives’ most complex and high-profile programmes.
