Harris Hill is searching for an Alumni and Development Executive for around 3 months to cover a leaver.
This role will need to start around the 22nd April for a handover with the current postholder. The post can be 3, 4 or 5 days per week but on the understanding that this be hybrid based with the need to attend their numerous sites, depending on alumni events.
This role has sites in London and Surrey, so you may need to attend either for specific events. This could be a couple times a month to a few times a week during holiday periods. These essentially correlate to alumi tours of the schools. You would know about these a couple weeks in advance and you would have some power to book these in dates and times that work. This challenging role is responsible for the planning, selection, budgets, and delivery of HQ Army Cadet sponsored international exchanges, specifically including Exercises Oak and Maple Leaf (Canada), Ex Baltic Guard (Baltic States), the India international exchange and the Poland international exchange. Responsible for the planning, selection, budget and delivery of Army Cadet participation in national level ceremonial events including Festival of Remembrance, the Cenotaph Parade, national ceremonies, and state occasions.
This position is a permanent full time post (40 hours per week) which will be primarily office based in the successful candidate’s home region, however we would prefer a candidate to be located in the Aldershot area. Responsibilities
- Develop and review proposals for grant audit requests, develop and manage implementation of audit workplans, and work with country and field offices to respond to audit queries in a timely manner.
- Manage the schedule for the organisational Single Audit, responding to audit queries, auditor concerns and findings in a timely manner.

- At least four years of demonstrable knowledge of the compliance and requirements of institutional donors – ideally including US government, European government and FCDO grants.
- Strong communication skills, both written (report writing) and oral, in English. Working knowledge of an additional language, such as French or Spanish is desirable, but not essential.

The Marketing and Communications Manager will have the freedom to develop the organisation’s strategy to enhance our reach, support income generation and hone our messaging to inspire new and long term support for our vision to see wild orangutans thriving in resilient rainforest landscapes.
A key part of the Fundraising & Communications team, this role reports to, and will work closely with, the Development Director and fundraising colleagues to amplify campaigns and activity. Key to the success of this role will be the ability to build strong relationships with our Sumatran-based Story Teller, our Programmes team and our partners to keep abreast of impact on the ground and tell these stories.
The ideal candidate is creative, organised, able to work under their own direction while also strong in a team. An excellent writer and communicator with people at all levels and across multiple channels and platforms – confident and keen to create content as well as able to keep sight of the big picture and make recommendations for strategy and direction. The Reading Housing First service aims to support hard to reach clients with complex needs; by sourcing independent tenancies and providing intensive support into long term accommodation. By adopting a flexible, creative and personalised approach, the service aims to support individuals to manage their tenancies in the community and rebuild their lives.
As the Housing First Coordinator you will have the opportunity to lead on the development and day-to-day delivery of the service, taking responsibility for line management, support and supervision of Housing First Workers and overseeing case management so they can provide intensive high quality support to their individual caseload of clients.

Oasis Project is recruiting a Head of Fundraising and Development. As Head of Fundraising and Development, you will work with our board of trustees, senior leadership team and staff. You will manage and develop the fundraising, communications, and marketing functions, to promote the implementation of Oasis Project’s new strategy for 2024-27. You will lead and deliver on income generation targets which support the mid and long-term sustainability of Oasis Project. You will be an experienced fundraising manager, with sound bid-writing experience who is looking to move into a senior leadership role. You will have:
· Fundraising experience (with trusts and foundations) working in a management level role within a voluntary sector organisation, wanting to or having progressed into senior leadership.

· Demonstrable experience of working in a fundraising and development role with a focus on income generation and fundraising strategy development.

· Ability to write clear and persuasive documents including bids, marketing materials and board reports.
