What you’ll be doing

You’ll be central to ensuring the LMS and LXP deliver a first-class learning experience. Day-to-day, you’ll:

• Manage and develop the Totara platform, particularly the Develop and Collaborate areas
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, resolving user and system issues quickly and effectively
• Work with leaders, HR, and IT to design solutions that support leader development and succession planning
• Create and maintain clear user guides, workflows, and training materials
• Deliver training sessions (both online and face-to-face) to help users get the most from the system
• Analyse system use and user feedback to drive ongoing improvements
• Collaborate flexibly with colleagues in the eLearning and Personnel teams on shared projects and innovation

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring a mix of technical expertise, curiosity, and people skills. We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience managing and maintaining a Learning Management System (Totara or Moodle ideal)
• Holds a Level 5 qualification in Learning Management Systems or equivalent certification
• Is confident diagnosing system issues and implementing improvements
• Has experience with APIs, integrations, and workflow automation
• Communicates clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Enjoys working collaboratively and creatively in a team

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Leadership Giving Officer to cultivate and solicit gifts from alumni who have the capacity to make donations to the university of between £1,000 and £50,000.

You will be working in an exciting and varied role that blends marketing and fundraising skills as part of the Leadership Giving team within the Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement department. We are a warm, collaborative, and enthusiastic team with a passion for innovative fundraising for meaningful impact.

The postholder will support fundraising for exciting and impactful initiatives across the university. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage two of the flagship Leadership Giving Programmes: the Kingsmaker Guild and Key to King’s. Additionally, they will also manage a portfolio of prospective and existing donors who they will connect with personally, engaging them with the university with the aim of soliciting new or uplifted donations.

Sitting within the KCL Philanthropy Team and working collaboratively with the other fundraisers in the university, the Leadership Giving Officer will manage the delivery of mass-fundraising appeals and stewardship, while also spending time in direct interaction with donors, both in and out of the office.

This role would be well suited to someone with marketing experience who is at the early stages of their fundraising career and keen to apply their skills in a hands-on environment. Candidates without marketing experience but with a strong aptitude for strategic communication and relationship building are also encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. P&A has a hybrid working approach, with a minimum of 40% in the office. Typically, this equates to two days per week, but we’re very happy for colleagues to be in more frequently if they so wish.

We influence decision-makers through stakeholder engagement, public affairs activity and by campaigning alongside people with arthritis. About the role
The purpose of this role is to drive policy development across our policy priority areas. The Policy Officer will lead on specific policy projects, commissioning research, developing policy positions, and producing reports and consultation responses.  

This role will cover a broad range of issues across one of our strategic goals – prevention and diagnosis; access to treatment; and living well with arthritis. Our approach considers the needs of people of all ages who have arthritis.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role involves reporting and analysis by examining different business areas, producing reports for budget holders and the executive team, and presenting conclusions to support decision-making. Responsibilities include analyzing business performance on a monthly basis for specific areas, meeting regularly with strategic budget holders to review spending, highlighting underperforming areas, and supporting executive budget holders in implementing improvements. Reports will be prepared that link both financial and non-financial information.

In terms of budgeting, the role requires working with executive budget holders to develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts, with a strong understanding of the key drivers behind budget bids and forecasts. It also involves analyzing budgets and forecasts by area, explaining variances between actual, budgeted, and forecasted results, and writing monthly management accounts commentary for allocated areas.

For wider finance tasks, the role includes working closely with the finance team to connect customers to finance processes, supporting the simplification and streamlining of finance procedures, and understanding the broader business impact of spend, income, assets, liabilities, and reserves. Taking ownership of problems and driving them through to resolution is also a key expectation.

Additionally, the role contributes to special projects such as new bids, systems implementation, and chart of accounts design.

Here's what the team will be looking for

You will be ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified, or hold an equivalent qualification, with demonstrable post-qualification experience and continued professional development. You will be able to recognise the value in “data mined” information and inspire stakeholders to make effective use of it. You will also have strong knowledge of management information and integrated accounting systems, alongside expertise in budgeting and financial control techniques, with the ability to produce accurate monthly management accounts for defined business areas.

You will bring highly developed skills in financial system reporting, spreadsheet analysis, and database management, with the capability to link information from different sources to financial data. You will be committed to improving service delivery and able to perform effectively in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships and earn trust through a balance of assertiveness and diplomacy.

You will be able to analyse large volumes of data and draw clear, concise conclusions. You will have significant experience providing management information to clients or customers within tight deadlines, producing ad hoc reports with insightful analysis to support decision-making, and working with senior-level budget holders. You will also have experience in delivering excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will demonstrate a strong set of soft skills including presentation, relationship building, negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution.

You will be working Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.18pm

The Advisory Panel is a meeting of the four Council’s committees (Companies, Education, Registration, and Standards) in plenary session. They are established by statute for the purpose of giving advice and assistance to Council (whether or not in response to a request from them) on:

• matters relating to business registrants other than matters required by the Opticians Act to be referred to the Investigation Committee, the Registration Appeals, Committee or the Fitness to Practise Committee; 

• matters relating to optical training, education, and assessment; 

• matters relating to registration, other than matters required by the Opticians Act to be considered by the Registration Appeals Committee; and 

• matters relating to the standards of conduct and performance expected of registrants or those seeking admission to the register. 

Time Commitment and Remuneration 

This role is part time with a commitment of approximately 2-3 days per year, including time spent preparing for meetings.  Meetings will usually take place via MS Teams but may on occasion be held at the GOC Offices in London or other suitable venues.

A daily fee of £319 will be paid. This is in line with our member fees policy and member fee schedule.  This is taxable and subject to Class 1 National Insurance (NI) contributions. It is not pensionable.

Members can claim expenses for travel and subsistence costs incurred on Council business as set out in our expenses policy.

As an experienced senior manager with a proven track record of leadership in providing services to women in contact with the criminal justice system and working with partners and funders, you will manage criminal justice projects, work to develop and expand our services and partnerships and manage criminal justice managers and other staff as required.

You will work with the management team to ensure, manage and oversee that the services work within the budget, are complaint with financial regulations, policies and procedures, and meet funding and Advance requirements.

About You:

To be successful as the Senior Operations Contracts Lead you will need the below experience and skills:

• A thorough understanding of and knowledge of the issues relating to women in the criminal justice system
• A sound knowledge of safeguarding adult and children principles, child abuse, child protection issues and safeguarding
• A good knowledge and understanding of organisational systems and frameworks, line management and project management
• Significant experience, likely to have been gained over several years, of strategic planning and operational management at a service manager level, and developing and delivering services at senior service management level
• Significant experience of working with women and/or service users with a complex range of needs, particularly within the criminal justice system, in custody and/or community.
• Experience of developing relationships with funders/commissioners and achieving required outcomes
• Experience of implementing quality assurance frameworks, monitoring, evaluating and measuring impact
• Strong influencing skills, enthusiasm, self-confidence, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills , and a can do proactive solution focussed approach
• Strong negotiating skills and the ability to build strong and effective relationships and partnerships, dealing with ambiguity and resolving conflict effectively, achieving the right outcomes for the organisation, collaborating and networking
• Able to think, act and plan strategically to develop practical and creative solutions to the management of existing and new services and complex problems that may arise while maintaining high levels of diplomacy and professionalism

The BACCH Education and Training Administrator is a newly created role supporting the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH), a specialty group of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. This role will take the lead on setting up and delivering educational courses and events for clinicians working in Community Child Health, including webinars, regional events, and the BACCH Annual Scientific Meeting.

Reporting to the BACCH Executive Officer, you will coordinate the development of a structured education and training offer, manage logistics for online and in-person courses, and support initiatives such as trainee-led learning and paid short courses. You will also support BACCH’s six affiliated specialist groups with administrative and event coordination as needed.

The role requires a highly organised and self-motivated individual with experience in event planning, digital platforms, and administrative systems. You’ll also maintain contact databases, filing systems, and internal procedures, while providing occasional cover for the wider team.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting educational events or working in professional membership organisations, along with strong communication, planning and IT skills. A background in healthcare, training, or children’s services and knowledge of website or budget management is desirable

We are seeking an experienced Charity Administrator (Maternity Cover for CEO) to provide continuity and ensure the smooth running of CURE UK during our CEO’s maternity leave. This is a caretaker role: you will be the charity’s sole staff member, responsible for day-to-day operations, donor communications, and ongoing fundraising projects. Strategic leadership will remain with the Board of Trustees — the role is to manage and deliver existing commitments.

These include management of the donor database (Beacon CRM), support with bookkeeping and reconciliation, handling charitable giving for our projects, and processing invoice payments to suppliers.
• Part-time (c. 20 hrs/wk): The role would focus on communications, fundraising, and donor care. Finance, accounting, and governance tasks would be handled by our external Accountant partner.
