The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and technically astute Project Manager to join our Projects team. This role will oversee projects that use artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to improve education access, equity, and outcomes across the three pillars of Theirworld’s work: Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of innovative pilots, including projects that explore how AI and technology can equip children and youth with the competencies, digital fluency, and adaptive skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. You will manage local partnerships, steer experimentation, and ensure robust learning cycles that contribute to Theirworld’s pilot-to-scale strategy.

This role is ideal for someone who seeks greater depth of knowledge, impact-driven, and excited to shape how emerging technologies can accelerate educational equity in low-resource settings.

This role is for maternity cover but with the possibility of extension.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage a diverse portfolio of education projects across Theirworld’s three pillars – Best Start in Life, A Safe Place to Learn, and Skills for the Future, with an emphasis on those leveraging AI and emerging technologies.

• Oversee programme planning, budgeting, delivery, reporting and learning for projects, ensuring milestones are met, partners are supported, and learnings are captured.

• Lead on the implementation of projects that apply digital or AI driven solutions to improve learning outcomes, particularly within the Skills for the Future pillar.

• Ensure all projects are inclusive and aligned with Theirworld’s cross-cutting vital areas: gender, inclusion, climate, health & nutrition, and peace & security.

AI for Future Skills

• Identify and manage projects that apply AI tools to build transferable, digital, and job-relevant skills for youth.

• Explore and test the potential of AI to personalise learning, support educators, and close skills gaps in marginalised communities.

• Ensure ethical, context sensitive, and inclusive use of AI in education projects, especially for girls, children with disabilities, and crisis-affected learners.

Partner Management and Grant Oversight

• Lead relationships with local delivery partners, edtech companies, and civil society organisations to co-deliver impactful projects.

• Draft and manage contracts and reporting templates; support partners with MEL frameworks aligned with pilot-to-scale goals.

• Conduct partner check-ins, manage grants, track spending, and ensure timely reporting and adaptive learning.

Learning and Contribution to Strategy

• Document and disseminate learnings and emerging insights on AI in education.

• Contribute to Theirworld’s knowledge assets and participate in knowledge sharing platforms and global convenings.

• Support scale strategies by contributing to replication toolkits and packages based on pilot results.

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with colleagues across Theirworld, including development, campaigns, advocacy, communications, and research teams, to ensure alignment, maximise impact, and foster shared learning.

• Actively contribute to cross-organisational initiatives, helping integrate projects into wider strategic objectives.

• Engage with our Development and Fundraising team to identify and support the cultivation of potential funders and supporters for the project pipeline 

• Provide additional support to the Director of Programmes and other team members as required to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and organisational priorities.

Experience, Skills and Character

• 5 - 7 years of experience in education, edtech, or AI-for-development projects.

• Proven project management experience delivering initiatives in partnership with local organisations, NGOs, or tech providers.

• Strong understanding of education systems, future skills development, and how technology (especially AI) can support them.

• Confident managing project budgets, reporting cycles, and monitoring frameworks.

• Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and ethical innovation in education.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.

• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Assistant Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

As Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer you will work closely with our SPOs who manage existing partnerships and create opportunities to bring partners together to learn from one another. Our partner is seeking a consultant to conduct a review of its finance function, including structure, processes and systems with a view of improving effectiveness and efficiency. This exercise stems from the fact that the finance function of the organisation has developed organically over the course of the organisation’s life and growth, covering the expansion of programmes and the opening of new administrative offices.

Scope of the Review

• Review of the current structure - assess what functions are best delivered in each location, the skillset of finance staff and what capacity is needed in each location to deliver these services.
• Review of the processes and systems; and make recommendations on how processes might be streamlined to address bottlenecks and streamline these.
• Advise on how the finance function might operate more effectively as a global function
• Advise on what IT/systems solutions might further improve efficiency

Requirements

• A qualified senior finance professional with experience of change management within an international not for profit, specifically reviewing the structure of the finance function, undertaking in-depth review and analysis of global processes and systems.
• Experience of working in a complex grant-funded environment with knowledge of full grants cycle management.
• Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.

About the Role:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

This exciting new role will centralise Greenhouse's fundraising operations into one dedicated role. OVERALL PURPOSE

The primary purpose of the Night and Weekend Supervisor role is to oversee the provision of high-quality services. This includes supervising night care staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and providing direct support to clients to promote their well-being and independence.

GENUINE OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT

In accordance with the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, it is a genuine occupational requirement (GOR) that the post holder is female. This requirement is essential for the role due to the following reasons:

1. Privacy and Dignity: The role involves working closely with female residents during sensitive hours (evenings, nights, and weekends) where privacy and dignity are paramount. Female residents may feel uncomfortable or distressed receiving support from a male/male presenting worker during these times, especially in situations involving personal care or emotional vulnerability.

2. Safety and Trust: Many of the residents may have experienced trauma, including domestic violence or abuse, often perpetrated by males. The presence of a female manager helps create a safe and supportive environment where these individuals can feel secure and trust the support being provided.

3. Legitimate Aim: The requirement ensures that the MPMT can maintain its commitment to providing gender-sensitive services tailored to the needs of vulnerable females. This aligns with the legitimate aim of protecting residents’ well-being and mental health.

4. Proportionality: The occupational requirement is a proportionate means of achieving the legitimate aim, as it directly addresses the needs of residents in a way that cannot be achieved through alternative measures, such as reallocating duties or employing male/male presenting staff for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Supervision:

• Oversee the working practices of night staff to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Conduct regular meetings with direct reports for supervision and support, handling disciplinary or performance issues as needed.
• Carry out the induction and training of new staff and volunteers, and participate in team appraisals.

· Provide guidance, training, and support to night care staff

Resident Support:

• Participate in annual safeguarding training for children and adults and act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (Level 3).

Administrative Duties:

· Assist in updating internal management information systems (e.g., INFORM) with relevant data.

· Support basic rent account management tasks as needed.

· Help coordinate staff schedules and cover arrangements for night shifts.

· Monitor and report on stock levels of essential supplies used during night shifts.

· Participate in occasional meetings or training sessions outside regular hours to stay informed about organisational updates.

· Ensure all administrative practices comply with MPMT’s policies and procedures.
